Frist time in a piggly wiggly. They had some things different then the stores back home..I liked it..If I lived here I would shop there..

Typical grocery store. If you catch them just right, they mark down some pretty nice items to pretty low prices.

Freindly people. Checkout lines move quickly there. Not always fully stocked.

They have some good buys and not do good buys but that what we deal with in life

I have never felt so insulted, you should teach some of your cashiers some manners, especially when the customer can hear her!!!!!! She was on register 2 dont know her name but she had glasses on and we made eye contract before we left just so she knew i heard her. SMH never ihave i felt unwelcomed in this store!!! I like shopping here

Store has a friendly staff, has always been clean when Ive been there. I go to this store when I crave fried chicken because Ive found it to be the best anywhere; lightly breaded, crisp and fried to a golden brown. The taste is pure chicken you can spice how you want and is reasonable.I have tried fried chicken from other establishments with disappointing results from over cooked to way over priced for what you get. When you want fried chicken, try the deli at Piggly Wiggly on Otranto Road.

First time in the famous piggly wiggly was awful compared to publix out shining them,Selection is limited to 2 to 4 choices,Tiny deli sushi it also smelled like salt an vinegar chips

Went in just for their fried chicken dinner from the deli. The staff was very friendly, and even with the so.eqhat long line of people waiting, they moved fairly quickly. I didnt have to wait long for my delicious food!

I shop at this location weekly because its close to my work. Never had an issue until today at the deli department. The Asian looking worker, didnt get her name seemed to be bothered that I needed service. Caught her whispering to her coworker about me. Totally disrespectful. She needs to go to customer service classes. When someone gets annoyed about helping a customer, she doesnt need to be working there

Friendly staff, good prices, great parking, easy access.

Cashiers were cold n only greeted some customers that were not black or brown... Had frowns on their faces like they didnt wanna be there.

This place is awesome! I didnt go there to do any grocery shopping. I just needed to visit the historic Piggly Wiggly. It was like Disney World to me. I bought a Piggly Wiggly t-shirt.

I waited 4 minutes at the bakery for service...then the person working didnt seem to understand what I was saying. When I said I wanted two of each kind of cupcake. They only had two types im display. But whatever 😕 I only came for dessert and more finger food for a small party I was having.

I love shopping here for the great deals they have on meats. I really like that that have sushi from Tobo in-house.

I loved visiting the Piggly Wigglys during my visits down south as a child! This location was good. Not overcrowded and had adequate parking. The staff was friendly. They even had Piggly Wiggly apparel- but a little pricey.

Were from out of state so visiting Charleston and going to Piggly Wiggly reminds me of my boyhood days going shopping with my mama. Nostalgia kicking in.

Overpriced and lousy selection. Good if you just need a gallon of milk but not if you need things to make meals.

The store had what I needed. The lines starting to get long and the staff was proactive with faster checkout, i.e. cashing out at the customer service desk.

Didnt get a greet at the register. Felt like I was bothering them. Or the guy felt like he had to puff his chest up. Idk.

I mean, pretty standard piggly wiggly. Staff are nice, and the place is clean.

Fast in and out, an old style market, but sometimes you can smell the fish from back of the store, not a good sign of freshness. Produce is good, staff just seem tired worn out. Their hot meal case for somethings look its been there for a while when they have a half pan left

The chicken pasta salad with romaine lettuce was good. It was something different for me to try and it was awesome! You just gotta try it for yourself.

Produce guy was very helpful in bringing out peanuts. The bin was bare and I heard him asking customers if he could help them. He was quick to stop what he was doing to help me. Checkout associate asked if I found everything I needed. I said yes. The shelves were stocked.

Went to 4 grocery stores before finding exactly what I needed here. Friendly staff and a clean store always makes for a better shopping experience.

Went in to buy some meat. No pork under 10 dollars a pack of about 6 pieces. Beef...forget it. Too high right now. I can usually get a good deal of packs of boneless country ribs, pork chops and an occasional piece of beef for $25 and it fills my small freezer. SMH Now one pack of hamburger 2 lbs was $8 alone

I think that this store could use a really good cleaning because it smells really HORRIBLE! I never see anyone sanitizing the shopping carts and that truly frightens me with everything that is going on. Even though this store is a very convenient location, I prefer to go to other grocery stores that are taking the extra precautions to keep their store clean & sanitize for customers. It’s also really disturbing that the cashiers are not wearing face mask in the middle of a global pandemic. Management needs to really tighten it up at this location! It’s a health hazard shopping in filth!

This store has been around FOREVER! They had ONE thing that I wanted. I cant find it in any other store. ( bottled Arizona Green Tea--12pk). If they had any good deals, I really would not know because I didnt take the time to look. This store smells HORRIBLE! You smell it as soon as you hit the door!

I have to give a hands-down five star review for Piggly Wiggly during this covid-19 pandemic. This store is open till 11 p.m. when all the stores are closing at 8 to 9 pm. My wife who is a nurse at the hospital doesnt get off of work until 7, and In most nights doesnt even leave until 8pm. So by the time that she already gets home, all the stores are closed. Piggly Wiggly you deserve more than this five-star review as you have catered too multiple of our dinners since the covid-19 pandemic. Thank you for catering to hospital and all other late working staff.

Piggly Wiggly on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston is a complete and quality grocery store that excels in a number of areas such as their deli with well prepared food and sides, their meat section that is a really good value for all that you get, and their customer service that always seems to go over the top to make sure that you are helped and that you find everything that you need.This Pig has been consistently reliable throughout the years and it is good to know that there is a really good grocery store in this area.

One of the very few left in the low country. Can be a little pricey and the variety isnt there like larger grocery stores. This store is always very clean and the people that work there are very friendly and helpful. Customer service is a 10+ 🙂

They allowed people in with out mask mostly 20/30 year old seem to be. Signs post all over store in bold lettering on doors also through out store 1 way in 1 way out.

I love the Pig! Yeah, sure its over priced (except the meats, cant hardly find a better deal anywhere else), but Id gladly pay triple if it means I dont have to give Walmart 1 cent of my money!

I am always happy when I shop at the Pig. The people are so friendly and helpful. And the others that are there like me to shop always make me feel like we are one big family. The prices are great and there is always a big variety to choose from.

You can find really good bargains at Piggly Wiggly. A lot of 2 for sales on foods you eat regularly. The staff always seems to be struggling to stay upbeat. But given the mouth breathing social experiment rejects they serve its a great effort.

This is a little store. But it has everything you need. The selections are few. But its a full grocery store. You will need a pig card. Which is what they call your loyalty card. To get the sales. So if you are going to shop there often pick one up.

Visiting the Deli good cooks

Was a little dirty and workers were not real friendly.

Went in for deli chicken and Mac n cheese. Chicken wings were super small. Only scraping of mac n cheese and she would not get a new pan. Very disappointed.
