This is my go to grocery store. Occasionally they are out of something or don’t have an item I need, but that can be true anywhere. The staff is really helpful anytime I ask a question and some of them recognize me when I come in. Having a quarter and my own bags doesn’t bother me one bit. In fact, I think it is genius. I have mostly adapted my shopping at so that most weeks, I don’t need to go anywhere else.

Only two items to ring up and a mis-ring? Sad.***************************Believe it or not, this is probably the best grocery store in this part of North Charleston. Store is clean. Prices are great. Occasionally what I want is out of stock.Cashiers are fast, as I believe they are timed. Sometimes they are not super friendly.Since Covid, watch out for fillers in prepared foods. For instance, the chicken tortellini tastes like it is only filled with flour, or nothing at all. Those kiddie broccoli bites are absolutely inedible.GREAT chocolate and snack prices. Like this place far better than Lidl.If you dont want to pay the quarter, bring some bags or grab a box.

Grand Opening was August 20, 2020. The store is bright, well organized and stocked, and clean. The layout is reversed and starts with a colorful veggie section. Entering and leaving the parking area was not an issue on a Saturday afternoon at ~4:00 pm.

Aldi is clear neatly kept store w/ an abundance of staff to maintain the upkeep. A delightful sight and welcoming experience. That being said, the cashier was a tab unpleasant. Great sales and choices of produce. Cherries price were remarkable every other week $1.99 . Papaya,Wow❣

This is a nice clean store. I love their uncured products! We regularly use their hot dogs, lunch meat, and sausage in their Never Any brand. Produce prices are some of the best in the Lowcounrty, too.

Love Aldi good selection of things and their brands are good

If youre on a budget this is the place for you. Some name brands but mostly genetics. Still some good stuff. Bring your own bag🛍️ and a quarter to use the shopping carts 🛒.

We had a great experience being this was our very visit to this store. Very impressive we had to bring one item back and the mgr and the cashier were extremely helpful and we really appreciate that. We will be back thanks 😊

Very excellent prices and a friendly staff. Some of the selection changes weekly, but you can always get the staples. Its a fun way to keep trying new things. The place is always clean and its never over crowded. Bring a quarter for a cart and your own bags.

Love going in here, but the traffic in and out of the parking lot SUCKS! Good prices and inretesting finds.

The price is great. The in stock could be better at times but you can tell they try. The customer service is standard.

I will never give it 5 stars if I have to make sure I have a quarter for a cart. I dont carry cash and their competitor Lidls doesnt seem to have a problem with customers returning carts. I went into Aldis for a specific item that was on sale, got it and left! Good job!!!

First time there. So many choices! Cant wait to go back and try them out. Prices are better than the Golden Arches junk.

Prices were decent, store clean, produce hit or miss. Only been a handful of times and cashiers always leave a bad taste in my mouth. Today a cashier with brown curly hair and a rainbow mask while ringing up my food literally pushed my cart away from me against the wall several feet away with no explanation or apology. Just pointlessly rude for no reason.

I had my first trip here last week (after getting groceries from them through instacart almost all of last year). Their selection is amazing and the staff was super friendly. The produce was fresh and so far really good. They were very well stocked. I ended buying way more than I planned!

I just love Aldi, I dont go there often, but their verity is wonderful as well as their prices.

Aldi is wonderful. You never know what you will find. They have amazing prices. Produce is great, wines are great, and extra surprises are to be found. The store is always clean. Employees are friendly and helpful.

I would give it 5 stars but after being almost hit by a cart by the employee JOJO I moved out the way because he was pushing the cart where it almost hit the back of my ankle after I said to my son wait a minute he is about to hit me with his cart he then flipped me off while pushing a cart out to a car to load it for pickup delivery. Employees will ruin a buisness and you have just lost mine.

They have what ever you looking for and its not to expensive

Great prices for quality food. Bring your own bags so you dont have to purchase theres. I wouldnt go during rush hr traffic because the exits at this shopping center are terrible! Other then that Id reccomend this store

If youre new to Aldi, like I am, think Sams Club on a much, much smaller scale. They display groceries in the cardboard box they were shipped in, most of the brands Ive never heard of, and you need to bring your own bags. I couldnt really compare process directly with other stores, because the brands arent the same. I guess its comparable to buying the store brand of everything at a regular grocery store. It wasnt bad... Its just not for me.

New grocery store in this area. Make sure you have a quater to get a shopping cart out of the front rack. You get it back when you return your cart. No frills store with good produce. Fresh flowers and plants for sale when I was there. No bagging. Bring your own totes.

Went here with my husband. I went inside while he was supposed to be getting the cart. I was in the store for a few minutes getting impatient wondering where he was. I decided to go back outside to see what was causing the holdup. Low and behold he was out there in bewilderment after realizing that it cost 25 cents to get a cart! We were very opposed to shopping here after this realization but decided to go see what they were about.Well the store was clean and well organized. This was expected as they had recently opened. There is a wide range of products. We saw what we were looking for but the prices were nothing to talk about so we decided to shop elsewhere.

Very clean store, great prices, and easy to find everything. There are a lot of name brand items to be found there, but honestly, ALDI brands are sometimes even better, like their Greek yogurt, cheese spreads, and frozen fried chicken patties. This location has a very simple layout and the staff is very helpful. Dont forget to bring a quarter for your cart!

The layout is OK(brighter & more open than the branch on Dorchester) and the prices are good. I found some German chocolate, but their selection was a bit disappointing. It’s a no-frills store and that’s fine, but the boxed fruit was stacked haphazardly and not in the best shape.Really nice staff at the checkout, though. It was Ok, I wouldn’t go out of my way to shop here again.

I visited the North Charleston area Aldis on this trip and I must say that it is a treat walking into a store that is both appealing to the visual and olfactory senses. There are also items I can shop for at Aldis that wont cost me a finger or toes and the quality is superb. Two examples are their avocado and grapeseed oils. Ive been a frequent shopper for years. From Florida to South Carolina to Maryland and I really enjoy their product brands.

ALDI offers more options for the fruits and vegetables in this area.They are mostly (if not all) organic and the pricesare great, too.Even if they were higher its worth going to ALDI for the sake of the quality and freshness.Thank you.

The prices are amazingly fantastic! The staff was all very kind and the selection of products is very diverse. It may be a German company, but a lot of the products are American. There may be more American products here than in all of Walmart. Overall: completely satisfied.

ALDI on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston is a great place for grocery shopping as they have really good values on most of the items that they have available. It is fun to shop here and I am always impressed with all that they have to offer. This is a well managed ALDI location that is very convenient and easy to get in and out of when you need groceries.

This new Aldi is so much bigger than some of their older locations I love the prices their selection and of course you have to have your all these quarter in toe at all times their foods are simply amazing and their storebrand has never let me down if you’re trying to save some money on groceries check out Aldi.

I think the store is overrated. The off brand items are way too expensive for some of the products. For the price, I can go to another store and get name-brand products for a similar price.

A cashier that was their yesterday was very rude, and did not even speak to me at all. Even after I said hello how are you, and thank you after my purchase. Not one word. As I was bagging I noticed he spoke to other customers, unsure of why he was not pleasant with me. He did not have a name tag on but he wears glasses and has king of medium brown hair. After reading other reviews I see I was not the only one that had experienced this. I wonder why certain people are being signaled out with the rudeness. I will definitely never visit this store again.

Great prices and usually fresh but not always.

Went I first started going here every thing was stock always. Now last two times here they have been short on fruit products I wanted and the skim milk is gone also. I now this is a new store, so I hope the stocking gets better.

This is a newer store so the aisles are a little larger and the layout is great!

The produces price is very good and products are excellent. I will go there for my fruits🍍🍎🍓🍇 and vegetables.

I am very disappointed with the level of cleanliness I found at this store. I will stick to Summerville & Dorchester Rd. locations from now on. The amount of trash in the buggy corral shouldve sent me away, but I just wanted to get some groceries and go. Inside there was no cleaning wipes, no hand sanitizer and trash here and there on the floor. The shelves were decently neat, but again either no sanitizer or it was broken. I will say that every employee I saw was busy, no slacking, but it seemed that there were more doing the pick up orders than actual store operation! I understand there is a demand for that, but that is a large, busy store. It needs more coverage than what I saw for a Sunday afternoon.

Very clean store and roomy aisles which helps with social distancing. The store seemed well stocked. The only draw back is the items were higher than the other Aldis that is nearby. Milk was almost $3 vs $1.99 at the other Aldi here. The cashier was quick and pleasant with the customers.

We love the other Aldi off of Dorchester Rd. The store is bigger and you have more choices. Its convenient because you dont have to go far but in this case SIZE do matter.

Prices were pretty pricey and you probably can a better deal at Lidl or Save A lot. Store is clean but then again it’s a new store. Ample parking and you have to pay 25 cents to use their buggy and then hook it back up with the other buggies to get your quarter back which is annoying. I just gave mine to a customer who paid me 25 cents to hAve which was a win win for me.Store overall is nice but you can find better deals and selections at other groceries around the Charleston area.Wasn’t impresssed unlike the other reviewers n here.
