I bought a honda civic coupe from jr autos sales, all I did was change the battery. The car last me 7 months with no problem until its got flooded by a storm. Definitely going back to them. Hopefully I get a nice discount for a 2 time customer.
Warning! Save yourselves a load of time, agony and money!! Please don’t purchase anything from this place. Horrible service extremely irresponsible. Car broke down days after purchase. Months ago stills don’t have a car or the money months back and forth tons of excuses; I guess they think they can keep on giving me the runaround because I’m a woman. As the other person mentioned they have Vehicles in extremely poor conditions they fix and sale. Wish I wasn’t in this situation. There are few things that will destroy your customer’s trust more than when their recently purchased used vehicle breaks down after you assured them it was “in great condition” and was “a great deal.” 0 integrity and by the way don’t trust those positive reviews as they are mostly internal from actual employees “associates”I know because I know them by name at this point from dealing with them for so long! I’m not one to write reviews but I needed to warn others so they don’t end up in the same situation as I’m in.
Very cheaply done repairs. Wrong parts were used and no support to fix the problem. Also paint on the edge of the door is cracking after only 40 days.JR used auto purchased a totalled car from an auction and they fixed the car or hired someone else to fix the car. The wrong parts were used for the repair. I did not discover this right away because the repairs looked good. The door knob, wire harness, and sensors inside the door are not compatible with features my car originally had. Now I have to spend $1200 to have it fixed if I want the features back to working order. Other minor issues like trim caps and rubber stoppers were missing from the area which was repaired.JR used auto is just there to make a quick dollar. Their cars are cheap, but you get what you pay for in this case.
Purchased a 2015 Subaru Forester just after Thanksgiving 2019.We made the deal before that but delayed the final sale until we got a few parts that were needed. When they came in they were installed took a short period of time just some plastic panels. The battery was weak so he got a new battery and all was fine. There was a recall on the car so I noticed a problem accelerating up hills, sometimes from a dead start. This was a concern as you could get rear ended when you die on takeoff or only could climb a hill at maybe 5 MPH.The recall was for the brake light switch under the dash connecting to the pedal. So finally I took the car in to Subaru for a oil change and recall problem. Now I did know the problem was not related to the repairs. They did the oil change and the recall on Jan 8, 2020 and believed the hesitation issue had nothing to do with the recall. Well it occurs after the engine temp is 140 degrees. The car when I go in it was 135 degrees so I knew I would be able to tell in a few minutes. Well the problem was gone it was the brake light switch telling the engine the brakes were applied even though the brake lights were not on.I have driven the car about 2,000 miles and it is fine.I think they are honest and right from the start said the vehicle was a Rebuild (formerly Salvaged) repaired and inspected by the NJMVC for roadworthy certification. The title does has the letter S for salvaged but if you are going to keep your car for a long time and want to save money this maybe your deal as well. My present car is 16 years old and still going strong. The car had 51,000 miles on it.I looked it over quite well and took a lot of photos before actually buying the car. They actually gave me a extended warranty past the normal 30 days.I can recommend them for a car as long as you dont have a problem buying a rebuild. This is my first rebuild and first Subaru. Not disappointed.
They were able to fix my brake light easily and rapidly
