I went in to view a car on January 4th, living in the area for years I have passed this dealership many many times.From the minute I walked in, I was told to wait to see a car. I needed approval from the manager to see the car.After viewing the car we brought the car into the dealer to get a better look. I told the salesperson I was interested in buying, he asked me straight forward what was I looking to pay. Now being in Sales I did like the transparency. What I did not like was when I mentioned the price I was told there is NO WAY his boss would even entertain the conversation. I mention to him, okay so lets see whats the best price you can do.We go to a cube and sit down, pricing came out the Internet price was $11,900 the dealer price $15,500.Dealer fees spiking up the rate, I asked for the fees to be removed and offered to pay the car up front in cash. Now I do believe he attempted to try and get a deal approved for me. After he pitched it to his Finance manager I was told we know the value of the car and we will not take a loss on it. I wish you the best of luck. THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD FIND the pricing I wanted. I believe he was talking out of emotion in losing the deal, nice guy working at the wrong dealership I would have to say.Needless to say in under 24 hours I found the same car with 20k miles less for the same price I agreed to pay without the fees.
