My son fell in love with and bought a 1964 Thunderbird. We spent the whole summer rebuilding the front end. None of those parts had been replaced since 1964, including the coil springs and shocks that we had to cut to remove. After all of our work, the final show stopper was reinstalling the new springs. No rented compression tool could even come close to sufficiently compressing them. We really wanted to have the car ready for his first day of school. We were stumped. No way forward and no shop in town would even touch it. The one shop that did gave up after a month of trying. I had never been to a Midas but figured it was worth a call. Steve immediately instilled confidence and said they’d get it done. Each day that went buy I assumed they would call and either say it wasn’t possible or was going to cost thousands. It took them a week and in spite of them having to purchase a specialized compression tool at their expense, Jason kept the price fair and got the impossible job done. . They were knowledgeable, reasonable, friendly, trustworthy and most importantly, they were competent. They’ve earned my future business for sure. Thx Midas!

Had my brakes done here. Seems like they’re always busy, which I suppose is a good sign, but it did take longer than I expected. They fixed all the mistakes the last shop made to make my pads wear faster than normal and took the time to show me exactly what was wrong and how they would fix it. Mechanics were polite and knowledgeable.

Midas has always been helpful and friendly. They do a good job diagnostic work and then call you to see what you want to do before starting so youre never surprised by the bill. You can drop your car or wait there. They have a waiting room with free coffee, bottled water and a TV.

Have always used them until here recently,, while I was getting a oil change 200 dollars came missing out of my purse and perfume,, later that night my car started shaking completely stopped would not start,, called the next morning they came and got my car,, said they fixed it around 5 and told me we was even,, with the 200 missing... called corporate they said we can’t prove it so it’s your word against theirs. Completely poor service. Me & my family will not be back!!!!!!

These guys are awesome and the best in Norman, by far!My first time there was for just an oil change. Ive had oil changes done at Walmart and Hibdon Tires Plus in the past. I hated it because it took so long.Midas does a free inspection, but unlike other places, they dont try to upsell you on repairs you dont need right away. They give their honest recommendations and advice. These guys go above and beyond any place Ive ever seen.After getting my oil change there, I found my car needed tires so I went back to Midas. Then my car broke down due to a totally unrelated issue (its an old car, its to be expected), and so I took it to them to fix it. My car had multiple issues. Despite being busier than I have ever seen them, they still managed to get my car fixed and I was able to get it back in like 48 hours.My family has 3 cars.. when we need something fixed, were going to Midas. :)

They did not help at all, water of time I missed four days of work. Went to OReillys, got the part and fixed it myself via YouTube. Never going to them again.

The brake on my car was squealing as I was driving down the road one day. I happened to pass by Midas and decided to stop by and give my car a quick check. Despite being very busy at that time (it was close to lunch time), Mr Steve attended to me very promptly and courteously. He did a thorough diagnosis of my entire car, added extra brake fluids, and patiently assured me that my car is in a perfect condition. Mr Steve went through all the trouble to check my car - for no charge! When I asked him why, he graciously said that he was just trying to help a college student out.Thank you Mr Steve, you da real MVP! Will definitely return to Midas again for my automobile needs!

Put the blend door on wrong. Didnt guaranteed it they over charge for it $450 and was not worth it. No receipt left the oil cap off after changing the oil. I will never go back there. I had to pay someone else to fix it. And I shouldnt have to. And they took a day in half to fix and the guy I went took it to fix it. It only took 3 hours and charge me. $255.00 they were really nice and done a great job. The way I see Midas owes me $450.00 cash because thats what I paid. So Im telling people to not go there.

Their service has always been good but was disappointed today and dont plan to come back. I went for oil change. After the oil change was done when I went to pick up the car, manager told me that my wind washer container is cracked and need to be replaced. It is not possible because yesterday I came back from long trip and I have been using the wind washer regularly. I think they cracked it during the oil change and dont want to own the responsibility. Disappointed.

Ive taken my vehicles to Steve for several years now. Ive never met anyone in the auto service industry with more integrity. Ive referred numerous friends to Steve whove all had the same experience. I have been going to this Auto shop for about a year now after getting ripped off for an oil change at another shop. By far the best service I have received in Norman and a top shop compared to places I have gone in Texas. I dont know much about cars, and might have a youtube learning curve on my car. BUT I do know that this is great for you oil change and car repairs. Just Fixed my AC for me cause I couldnt take another summer without and they explained to me what was going on in terms I could understand. Also for busy students, the Wifi is great and I have been able to get in a few minutes studying while I waited on repairs or oil changes.

This is my go-to for vehicle repairs. The manager, Steve is patient and honest. Always helpful and puts the customer first. I drove in with an idea of what was wrong (U-joints) and they confirmed it (I didnt tell them what I thought), and they didnt try to sell me anything else. I get my brakes done here too. Brake pads for life, you just pay the labor.

I had to get my car towed here at a little before 5pm and they helped me right away when I told them I had somewhere to be tonight, even though they close at 5:30. They called my part in and fixed it with no problem! Steve is very considerate of customer’s needs and will do his best to make sure everyone is happy! My parents have been coming here for years, and now I know why! Incredible service! Always going back for my car needs!

I was traveling and I had a problem with my brakes. I thought I would be big ugly complicated and expensive but it was a simple thing and the price was pretty cheap. They got me in right away and my car was ready soon after I dropped it off. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable.My biggest fear about going I any car service place is they will try to sell me a bunch of stuff I dont need and tell me the car will fall apart without them. I feel that the Midas in Norman was honest and knowledgeable and would not sell you anything you didnt need.

As a father who is 10 hours away from his daughter who attends OU law school, I want to thank Steve for taking care of her brake problems. I talked to Steve about the brake issue she was having before I told him that I was 10 hours away. After talking to him, I felt comfortable sending her in and trusted that she would be treated fairly. Another auto repair shop took advantage of the fact that I was a college student that seemed to not know much about cars and completely destroyed my car when they were supposed to fix it. I took it to Midas to get it inspected so that I knew what was wrong and so that I would be able to confront the other shop about it. Steve was extremely nice and understanding and did not even charge me for the check-up. I would definitely come here in the future for any issues because I know that they are trustworthy unlike other places that are just looking to make money and cannot even do their job right. The owner is a very greedy man. My mom took my suv to get fixed because it was running hot and he lied to her saying I needed all of theses parts that I had recently just gotten fixed so she told him thats not true because we just got certain parts fixed so he ended up saying that he doubled check it and all I needed was a radiator. A month later my car is running hot again because of the radiator. 450 dollar down the drain. Stay away from this place! Save your money, time and resources please!

I’m about to move across the country after five years in Norman. The last two times I’ve needed service, I brought my car to the Midas on Lindsey rather than the Fowler Honda dealership. I wish I would have made the switch sooner.They take care of things much more efficiently and thoroughly at this Midas than the dealership. For example, they recalibrate my tire pressure sensors after rotating the tires, without being asked, which is something the dealership could not handle on four occasions even when I specifically addressed the issue.Above all, they genuinely care about their customers and treat them like family. That’s pretty rare these days. I’ll definitely miss bringing my car here.

I have taken my vehicles to this Midas location for the past 20 years. Without fail, they have been fair, generous, and competent. They have never recommended any unnecessary work, and at time have declined to charge me, or undercharged me, for simple work that I was more than willing to pay for. They have a small but comfortable waiting room with free wi-fi available. I cannot recommend this place enough. So long as I am in Norman, I will not take my vehicles anywhere else.

I took my car there this morning because I was having brake trouble, and was told by another place that I needed new transmission fluid, so I was going to get an estimate on the total cost of this. I also needed an oil change. I usually get my oil changed at the same place that said I needed my transmission fluid changed...but they didnt do brakes, so I googled the place that got the best reviews. Well, they did not disappoint. Steve was extremely courteous and went out of his way to make me feel like I was the only customer in the place. He was honest, and gave me some very valuable advice about some places that charge for fluid replacement when it isnt really needed. The mechanic that worked on my car even pulled a little dent out of my bumper at no extra charge. I thought that was great. I wont be using that other place again for my oil changes. Overall, I was very impressed with the attitude, friendliness, and honesty of this place. Congrats. Youve won another customer. Oh, and I want to say thanks to Greg for his hard work pulling out the little dent when he didnt have to. Very nice. :))

We had several quotes, $1,100, $900, $800 (Midas Midland, Christian Brothers, Hibdon- I am rounding the quotes), but Midas Norman, OK gave us the best quote $600. They did such an amazing job and had us out of there quickly. Steve was very professional. This is the second time they have worked on our vehicles. HIGHLY recommend Midas in Norman. Also, they are so kind and nice. My son had to get his vehicle serviced on a holiday weekend and they went out of their way to work until it was finished. We drove from Edmond to Norman to get our vehicle serviced and completely worth the drive.
