Ive been coming here for years and I always have a great experience. I dont even live in Norfolk anymore but I will make a special trip instead of going to a closer store. The owner is always so sweet! Also the prices are incredible and their selection is massive.

I spent $400 and was told to write my number down for the point system and didnt get the points. I was told by Ms Kim the owner that there was nothing she could do, EVEN THOUGH my payment has a electronic trace hence my bank statement since I paid with card, but give me 5 dollars off and ask her niece about the points. I will not be shopping here anymore and have never felt more disrespected.

The selection of hair, wigs, and accessories are wonderful. But the environment is nowhere near professional. The staff are so relaxed as if they are in their own living room. Also people are allowed to walk in there to shop barely wearing clothing.

I pulled up at 5:50 and they suppose to close at 6. A lady came out of the store saying they were closed and the sign stilled said Now Open.

Ive been going to New York New York since 1989 and I continue to go there as an adult and now I have a daughter she goes there was a high school she shops in New York-New York and my niece has a nail shop at New York New York they will be around for years to get the best stuff best place I love shopping for hair stuff so should definitely go to New York New York Hair Store you find what you need

This is the place that I go to get my hair needs and products. They offer a great selection of hair. From braiding hair to crochet hair to wigs and human tracks.

I really didnt like that many products were opened and kind of old looking in make up/cosmetics. The nail polish I have is very used by people who were testing it and I didnt really realize. I also noticed the prices were high and typical of a beauty supply store. I also noticed that there were several photos of shoplifters.

My daughter loves new York new York. She can find everything she wants in beauty supplies

I drove by googling directions but somehow managed to miss a few tolls but dont know how. I wish tolls you need to go to could be included in the directions but a smooth ride.

One of my favorite beauty supply stores. It may not be big, but you can find somethings for some good prices.

First, let me state that their prices are inflated. The ONLY reason that I bought something from here is because the person braiding my hair told me to go there. It is located near her house.I had unused hair product. I asked if I could exchange it for something else. I was told that unless I had the receipt I could not exchange the item. I did not ask to return the item but was also quickly told that they do not do returns.My point in sharing this review is this, when a person or a business knows that you will spend money with them regardless of the way they treat you, they will enforce policies that will penalize you or simply be discourteous. Overall you will not get good customer service. Now I’m not saying that they should not have policies in place. They are a business not a charity. There is however, a noticable difference in how policies are created and enforced with businesses and institutions depending on the location of the community.As consumers we need to do a better job of notifining others in the community when businesses do not provide great service. In addition we must start letting them know that poor customer service and bias policies WILL NOT be tolerated.

Their shampoos and conditioners are at a reasonable price that I kind of cant find anywhere else as of yet. There isnt a wide variety of things there, but if youre into extensions, and things of that nature then check it out.

Staff was not very helpful. There was a good variety of merchandise. I think that they take their customers for granted.

NEVER pay with your atm/debit card. They will charge you twice for the same purchase and you wont know unless you watch your bank statements very closely. When the matter is brought to their attention they deny their mistake and say you have to take the matter up with your bank. The guy didnt even attempt to ask the cashier he had working that day. Terrible business practice. I will never shop here again. I wish I could give ZERO stars.
