Joe takes the hassle out of dealing with auto mechanics and offers a way friendlier approach on top of his honesty and the employees hard work to keep everything clean and safe. This is our first Mercedes-Benz or first high-end European car so we are out of our element here being used to GMs but thanks to Coop over at my favorite GM service shop Eaglecrest Automotive, we were able to locate the same stature of service but European. Thanks again guys!

I have used them for my BMW 650 xi and my BMW M6 Competition. I have sent my Sister to them for her Mini Cooper S. We have been pleased with all the services performed over the last 4 years. I recently had the sparkplugs and coil packs replaced on my M6 competition and they did it all for about half the price the dealership wanted for sparkplugs and just a cylinder 8 coil pack replacement.

Ive been using European Motorcar Service for about 3 years now, first to service my Mini Cooper and now my BMW. I love these guys. They know what they are doing, they are friendly and helpful... and they have reasonable prices. They always try to get the best parts for the most inexpensive price. Sometimes I need to wait a few days for those parts to arrive, but its so worth it to receive reliable, knowledgeable service and significantly better prices than the dealership.

Moving from another state, I was looking for an independent repair shop near me that had the knowledge of foreign autos, specifically BMW and Subaru. I took my wifes 528i in for a oil and filter change. They did a courtesy check of the car and recommended service for the next time I brought it in. Also, scheduled an appointment with them to look at a water leak that happened when it rained. They were able to diagnose the issue and fix it. Will be bringing all my family autos there from now on. Thanks guys!

Excellent service, very quick and fair pricing. I groaned as my check engine light came on after my BMW X3 warranty expired 3k miles prior and I knew anything BMW would be complicated. Joe helped get my car in the same day, part was delivered quickly and repairs done while I was at work. Thanks for your fast and friendly service!

Absolutely love this place! Weve been bringing our vehicles of all brands here for 15+ years. Everyone in the shop is honest and hard working. They tell us what needs to be fixed now and what can wait 6 months. They are polite and very trustworthy, cannot say enough wonderful things about them. Take your car here, you wont be sorry.

Joe told me my vehicle 100% needed a new motor due to a symptom he found in my engine and that the vehicle was worth maybe $1000 if I wanted to sell it without repairing it. I expected and planned to be out of pocket at least $5,000 and was really upset about it. I spent the money for all the parts Joe said I needed and it burnt a pretty big hole in my wallet. I then took it to Chevrolet in Springfield the very next day and they did an inspection of the motor (just like Joe did) and found the same symptoms as well (just like Joe did). Chevrolet then physically took my motor apart and told me to look at it with them (which Joe didnt do). The head gaskets, timing chain, head bolts, and valve cover gaskets that Joe told me I needed to replace were 100% fine and needed no reason for repair. All it needed was a new thermostat housing and coolant leak to attend to. I dont believe EMS physically looked at anything in my motor and just called one of their other technicians and gave me a quote for a new motor after finding one symptom that could realistically mean a lot of things that could be wrong. I ended up only paying under $500 for the repairs at Chevrolet and the car had zero problems after the repairs and I ended up selling it for much more profit than what I bought it for. I wouldnt have a problem with any of this if Joe just took the time to physically look into the problem instead of just telling me that I needed a new motor after finding one thing wrong and then just stopped looking in to it. I just feel like they tried to cheat me in giving them $3,000 to order a new motor and pay the $2,000 in labor when all I needed was just a thermostat housing. I wont be taking any of my vehicles to Joe anymore. Hes a very friendly man and has helped me out a lot with other vehicle issues but really dropped the ball on my engine issue and had me spend thousands of dollars on parts and I cant even return half of them. He only did half the job and I unfortunately just cant bring myself to take another vehicle over to him.

As a senior citizen, I depend on my mechanic to ensure I am not stranded. At my age, walking is a challenge and reliable transportation can be the difference between life and death. Joe and Andy at EMS are fantastic. They provide me with routine maintenance notices and inspect my car each time I am in. This is important to someone living on a fixed income. I can plan for upcoming expenses and dont have to let things go that arent safe because I dont have the money set aside. Keep up the great work!

Took my Nissan Altima in asking about a headlight issue and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely rude and condescending. Wil absolutely not be taking any of our other vehicles in to this shop. Eagle pride is sometimes more expensive but but I would gladly pay extra to not deal with rude employees.

WoooooooooowNotice, there is absolutely no capitalization. That’s for a reason EMS. When someone calls for a quote don’t just say bring the car in. Some of us are frugal, and have reasons to be. Or maybe before we have a car towed over we would like to know how bad our pockets will be hit. With that being said not everyone that calls has no idea what they are talking about either. We may just not have the time to do what is needed to be done. Maybe lack of space or tools etc....... Customer service or lack there of is not to standard by any means. I’m happy I didn’t waste my time, and risk further damaging an already damaged vehicle by driving the twelve miles to your establishment.

Almighty Joe at EMS in Nixa Missouri claims to be the preferred BMW mechanic in the area. He had a customers X5 in his shop that needed the timing chain replaced and his customer couldn’t afford it. So he and his ex employee call me to push into buying this car with the expectation that it would be professionally fixed. Well off my car went to his ex employees home to be repaired in a drive way. As expected the car has never ran very good at all. After I was told I had to put out $6000.00 for parts and labor and then pay and additional $800.00 “ timing chain tool” I wasn’t surprised to find out it was a lie. Joe received a kick back from the tools he lent the guy barrow. Meanwhile he refuses to work on any of my cars for a reason he can’t explain. When we take our cars to the dealer to be fixed it’s usually a lot more than a mechanic in his own shop but when a place like EMS can screw you over all the while a wink and nod it’s disgracful.Next. time you might wanna find out who really ms working on your car.
