I had my brakes worked on on Friday September 24. I dropped it off in the morning and was called about 30 min. from closing. I was told jokingly by the technician that he told a co-worker to get out of the way because the brakes were on the floor and the van wasnt stopping. That was a lie. I had driven to the KIA dealership myself. The brakes were soft. That is why I took my van in the first place. Then, someone named Ed said they had done all the work and had improved the brakes by 80%. I did not pay foran 80% improvement on my brakes. Then they charged us over 600.00. As I drove home I noticed no improvement. My wife drives this van and I asked her to drive for a few days and let me know. Today she tells me that the brakes feel exactly as before. Zero improvement. The van stops fine as before but goes lower to the floor. I have taken my van to KIA several times and been very satisfied. This time was a disaster. I will never employ their services again. Very disappointed. I was waiting for a request to fill out a survey. Whoever reads this, please dont take your KIA to their repair shop on Jefferson Ave. In Newport News. It may cost you more than you think.
If I could give this dealership a 0 I would. Bait and switch. Was called told they had a vehicle I was interested there. A few hours later went there. Found out they didnt have the vehicle there and the other one they suggested was way out of the range of price I was willing to purchase. Not to mention they tried to then sell me a used vehicle I was the least bit interested in. When I told the rep that I didnt like the vehicle her response was what is wrong with it....um the fact that it was not the vehicle I came all that way to see. Duh

I like the way they take care of your car (vacuuming, seat protectors, floor mats) ... I will say this, I miss the service manager, James!! I have no complaints about the service department.However, Ive been trying to reach someone about extending my warranty and have made 6 calls and one in-person visit and no one has returned my calls. Amazing how many calls and pieces of mail you receive about warranties and no one calls you back when you want one.

My vehicle service and inspection was completed earlier than expected. I was pleased with the overall customer service. Ive come 2 previous times and had to wait a substantial amount of time and I was not satisfied. Im happy to see that the wait time has improved.
Recently had a frustrating experience with Casey Kia. We took the Sedona (2018) in for an oil change. The service writer detailed in the receipt that additionally did a multipoint inspection and had a declined service for tires. Two days after service, our tire was flat, we are missing wheel locks on all four tires (tires have never been removed from vehicle ever) and some serious safety concerns for what they told us was actually done to the car.When attempting to get the issues sorted, the staff presented us a bill for new tires and lug nuts ($11 each, which is an outrageous upsell) to offer to fix the problem. Manager never called back to discuss, compensate, or make the week of car issues and inconveniences right.We don’t recommend Casey Kia for any service because they missed multiple steps and lied about the process during a routine oil change causing unsafe conditions for the family car and refused to make it right.

I was quoted kumho crugen tires good for 70k mile. Got the car home found Casey kia kumho ecsta pa51 that are rated at 45k miles. I am very upset with this out come. I thought better of Casey service department.

I had one of the worst experiences ever! My daughter’s car was taken towed there for a tire change because we didn’t have a key to get the rim off. One was not given to us when we purchased the vehicle. I also asked them to change the oil as well. My daughter was over an hour away from home. They called me and told me the car was ready. When my daughter arrived she immediately noticed the tire pressure light was still on and a loud thumping noise. I advised her to go back into the dealership just for one of them to come out and say oh you have another flat tire. Why was this not noticed by the technician. They were about to let my child get on the highway and attempt to drive over an hour with another flat tire. So no one inspected all of the tires or even drove the car after they put on the first tire. My child wasted $70 on an Uber. They were very negligent. I called and asked for a supervisor twice and I still haven’t received a call back. I got the car towed somewhere else just for them to tell me the new tire that Kia put on was also flat because the rim on both the front and the rear was bent. Again how did the technician not see he was putting a tire on a bent rim. They only told me the back rim was bent. Rachel told me they only did what I told them to do which was replace the tire and complete an oil change. So never have I taken any of my vehicles to a dealership and they didn’t bring to my attention other problems. How was I supposed to know the rim was bent? They were very negligent and rude and obviously don’t care about the safety of their customers. And I’m still waiting on that call……. I will NEVER trust them again! I feel we should be reimbursed for the Uber ride!

It took 3 weeks to get on their service calendar for maintenance, a state inspection and alignment of one headlight. I waited 3 hours and twenty minutes for service to be completed. I realized on my way home that the hazard light was on and blinking the headlight was too low. I called my service advisor and was on hold for her for 15 min. and was then cut off. I called back and was told she was not available. I informed her of my problem and was told to return now. I had another appointment and couldnt return right then and was told the soonest I could be seen would be 2 weeks and service had to be completed by the same team that serviced me. I chose to take my car to the dealership instead of somewhere else, as I thought they could service it better. I was so wrong. I asked to speak with service manager and left him a message to contact me but he never returned my call. I have no respect for this dealership or service department.
I do not lease my vehicle from here but I took it in to get a recall done. I was surprised that getting my engine oil pan replaced took 20 minutes and when I looked at the papers, it was a recall to get the fuel pump door replaced. Something I did not schedule for and I made this appointment last month. So not only did they schedule me for the wrong thing, but now I am left without a car for another week. I was depending on my car to be drivable again and they denied me a loaner car.

I dropped my car off to get a brake light fixed, which I have to get done every year because they go out so fast! All of my sensors were working and when I got my car back my reverse sensor is no longer working. This is the sensor that tells you if you are to close to hitting something! It’s literally something every time I get my car back ! I love my car buts it’s literally something every time I drop it off to get a oil change they call and say this needs to be looked at or fixed

After over a month of searching all over Hampton Roads I finally got my hands on a Carnival SX Prestige at Casey Kia and both the car and the service were worth the wait. Johnnie made the process as easy and stress-free as possible, especially considering how fast these cars are selling and how quickly we needed to make our decision and move on purchasing. After my husband and myself both got a test drive we were given time in privacy to discuss and after deciding we wanted to buy the entire team at Casey made us feel comfortable even with our toddler exploring all over the showroom. This dealership is respectful and understanding that buying a car can be stressful and they are very understanding of military families who dont have trusted 24/7 childcare in the area. I visited the dealership march 2020 and worked with Morgan. Morgan was great BUT when SAM came along all customer service was trash. I made it VERY clear that i had already had financing through my credit union and did not need nor want my credit ran. What did Sam Saleem (spelling) do...of course... run my credit without approval from me. I did not complete an application at all but Morgan had my documents and he used that to run it anyway. I contacted corporate and spoke with B. Smith. I was told they could not locate an application (well duh I didnt apply). I was then told that the inquiry would be removed on their end because my efforts to dispute on my own with the credit bureau were unsuccessful. It is now 07/06/2021 and the inquiry is still listed. Horrible customer service and fraudulent activity.
I was very pleased with my service experience at Casey Kia. First they were organized and has a seamless method for service (in & out). It was clean and the people were professional. Of course they did a thorough check over and offered suggestions for service but ultimately were not pushy. I think they know that people have options for service and building relafions on truth and honesty goes a long way.

I went their on a referral. They appear to care. The service was great. Real talk I have never been interested in a Kia but I couldnt beat the lifetime power train warranty and some other packages they offered. I will now monitor to see if Kia stands by their product. I left their with a brand new car. I stopped by Carmax prior and a used car was the same price as a new car at Kia and car max only offered a 90 day warranty. It also appears that all cats range.around the same price. The 2022 Carnival was only 1000 more. I wish only that the Telluride was there. But they ate friendly, not intimidating meaning trying to force you into any thing and bottom line know what you want, can afford and stand by it and come to a negotiation that you feel comfortable with. Attempted to sell me a vehicle they did not have, was to be a dealer transfer but they had no contact with the other dealer. Instead of being upfront about it, we came to a deal, the point where I would cut the check, and oh’ by the way we don’t have that vehicle. Shady practices, effectively a bait and switch tactic. I did however purchase a vehicle, fresh off the truck from Casey, that process took sometime also, although was told all the paperwork would be ready, nearly 2 hours later on the road.
Had my car in for a recall inspection, passed but then some serious issues came up. Staff were very cordial and as accommodating as possible, and the repairs were both covered in full and completed days before the expected time. What was a stressful situation and could have been even worse was handled smoothly, and Im all the more thankful for it.
Very easy to work with, I drove in from Richmond. They had car and everything ready. I was out in about 3 hours...UPDATED- I have had the car for LESS THAN A MONTH and its back in the shop for the second time. Apparently they will sell you a used car in any condition. Sure it has a warranty, but people need reliable vehicles. Lets see how long this bandaid lasts this time. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Replacement engine was ready for 2016 Kia Sportage. The ppl here was kind, professional, and they also went the extra mile to make sure my vehicle was good 2 go. $$$

My experience with the Kia service department has always been excellent. I completely rely on them to keep my car running smoothly. I have a 2009 Kia Rondo with 108,000 miles. Everyone Appears to know their jobs and performs with maximum efficiency. I would recommend the service department to anyone.
The desk staff are really nice. They helped me thoroughly, and addressed all of my concerns. And it was not too expensive. The shuttle driver was SUPER nice, and gave great conversation.
I have a 2020 Kia soul S under an engine recall. I made an appointment and was told it will be looked so to determine how long it will be in for repairs, but nope it will take 24 to 48 hours until looked at. So no loaner until then and thats if they have a loaner so i lose out no matter what in getting to work. Now at risk of losing job since the engine started failing on Wednesday. Smh.Thank you. It was a miscommunication between the both of us. However my advisor at Casey explained and communicated with me at the regular and took care of me. And your mechanic did a thorough job on documenting my engine for the recall. Thank you.
Casey Kia has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced! The whole process was easy and pretty stress free for me. Ryan was very helpful and informative throughout. His customer service skills are on point. The lifetime full power train warranty, nation wide coverage, engine, oil changes, and state inspections for life of the warranty was what really sold it for me! Got my Kia at a better price with a superior warranty than getting a used one at CarMax.The car I saw online turned out to be a test vehicle with a bit over 2k miles on it, which they were very upfront about. (Still classified as a new car because it’s under 5k miles. The law in my state says so) Someone had gotten it then returned it not long after. They also mentioned bumper damage, but that had been fixed a while back. Plus there is a tiny bit of interior cosmetic damage in the back, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed by myself or paying someone else to. Again, they were very upfront about everything.Anyway, despite the previously mentioned hiccups, I was interested and they were willing to sell it as is. The sticker price was higher and I got it for the cheaper online price. I also got a 2k rebate which was sweet! The only issue I have at the moment (which is currently in the process of being resolved) is a hole in the interior side door panel and a missing piece that goes inside a compartment. Didn’t see those until after I got home. Oops.However, those problems were visible in the online photos although a little hard to make out due to natural shadows. I do not believe there was any deception on their part plus they did say AS IS so the fault is mine for not looking more closely. However, these problems are on their way to being fixed! I’ve got an appointment lined up so they can check to see what parts need replacing and I’m not being charged a single penny! That’s right, NO CHARGE! Now, that’s what I call great service!👍😎 Thank you, Casey Kia!

One of the ladies in the parts department is rude but if you can overlook her, then it is so worth it because everyone else I have interacted with has truly been great to do business with. They are fair, honest and keep their word. Trust me, this is the place to purchase your car from!

Customer service stops after the sale wont buy from again and highly recommend looking else where!!!!!!!!!!!edit to add context: Charles was a great salesman my issue is with the Finance Manager and a refund request on a warranty a day after the purchase of our vehicle in March here it is almost June and still no refund and very slow response if any from the receptionist on to the finance manager . To me seems like a cultural issue of zero priority for existing customers after the sale. I dont have time for businesses that disregard the value of my time I strongly wouldnt recommend.

Do not buy there, we bought a car 3 years ago and were lied to. Were told extended warranty would be good until 145000 miles and just found out it expired at 100000, so we are stuck with the bill. From the get go the car had issues. I would definitely not recommend unless you get everything in writing.

After much research, my wife and I decided that we want to purchase a new Telluride. Its perfect for our family with some of the highest safety ratings out there. Plus, has the towing capacity that we need for our camper. I go online, see that there is one 2022 model at Casey Kia in Newport News. And I book an appointment to test drive it. Almost immediately I get an email quoting $29,000 for the car . A great deal. I get excited, go to my bank, get pre-approved and go to my appointment with full intention of buying this car. Shortly after sitting down with the sales representative, I find out that this car nor any Tellurides are even on the lot. She immediately starts trying to sell me something different. And then told me that even if the Telluride was on the lot that theres no way that it can be sold for what I was quoted. I was tricked intosetting this appointment. Lied to. Their only objective was to get me into the dealership and sell me something. Not today Kia. You cannot lie to customers. Its not even legal. Both mangers I spoke with were no help. Aaron McGriffen was at least polite. AJ, on the other hand was.not. He just wanted to argue with me about how they are not responsible for what a third party sends out with their prices. Unless this issue is somehow rectified, I will not be buying my Telluride from Casey Kia in Newport News, VA.
Very misleading I called ahead to make sure that the vehicle i was interested in was available before making the drive in and they ensured me that it was there but when I arrived it was not on the lot and the sales manager was not there either in which I was told over the phone that they would be there, sales representative stated he was sorry and that is all he could say and did not seem to handle the matter professionally in which defeating the chances of me giving any Casey dealership another opportunity to attempt sell me anything just an overall bad experience yet again
I had the pleasure of working with the amazing team of associates at Casey Kia. I say team because I worked closely with three individuals. I first met with Aaron, who welcomed me to Kia & discussed the car I was interested in. Johnnie Jordan was extremely reassuring as I was nervous about purchasing my first bran new vehicle. Sam was determined to get me financed. I could not of asked for more out of my experience. A few other people pitched in here & there as well. Needless to say I drove away with a 2020 Kia Sorento.
My car was fine before I brought it in for software update;after updating it several lights appeared on the dash that could not be deleted. I returned it and now have to come back a third time to have a sensor replaced. I sure hope this is a FREE replacement, as I said it was fine prior to the update.

I went for state inspection and they gave me “concerned to check in the future” list lol that says my car needs to be fixed ac filters, breaks, etc… and the desk lady says “you dont need to do it right now, bring your car in a month or when you can and we’ll fix” that was funny, first of all i hate lists. Second they didnt know my husband is mechanic also and check my car regularly :) ouchhh yep, go here for state inspection and they will give you the recommended pay $500 list lol they probably do this to females like me, foreign asian girl from korea. And probably most of places does this but I just needed to speak up for next people.

Vacationing in Williamsburg, VA got a flat tire on our 2020 kia optima. Just bought new tires from our dealership back in Columbus, Ohio .made a call to Casey Kia service Department in Newport News Va at approximately 2:45 Saturday afternoon was told they were booked, I explained our situation was told to get it in as soon as possible and they would do everything they could to help. AND THEY DID JUST THAT, 1ST Christine checked with parts dept. To see if they had the exact tire we had on our car ( they did not ) and now is where they went way over and above, Christine could have said sorry we cant help us but no! She said heres your options Firestone down the street has a tire and Discount tire has a tire, so instead of sending us on our way and good luck they went and got the tire for us, mounted and installed it WOW!!! I can say this our dealership back home would never have done this cant even get them to answer the phone SMH. Soooo I want to say THANK YOU to Christine and Jen for everything you did to make this vacation that much better.
Was dropping food off but its a friendly atmosphere the staff there very nice with great hospitality, however I have several family members that have purchased vehicles from Charles Archer, he was courteous, fast with the process, very informative and they along with myself would recommend Charles Archer and Casey Kia to my friends and more family.

I spent over 3200.00 in less than thirty days two separate visits calls werent returned car wasnt cleaned first time after spending 1600. I had to ask I was told it took so long each visit to even have the car looked at I Iwont recommend anyone going there for service my advisor Rachel was always seemed annoyed and would dodge my calls for the money I spent i expected better customer service

We have been clients of Casey Kia for more than 5 years now. Unfortunately, their service department has made a turn for the worst. To the point where I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND this dealership to anyone else from now on. First, we scheduled a routine oil change and state inspections for our Optima and asked if they could do my sons Saturn inspection as well. Two days past the inspection was completed my son was driving his car while raining and it turns out that one of his wipers was completed broken. The service manager, Jimmy, apologized and took care of the repair. After about 3 weeks from the original oil change and state inspection to our optima we noticed our car was leaking oil. When we checked we had almost no oil left in the motor! Went back to Kia to hear the service manager say somehow their is a crack in the oil pan. Of course we were upset cause once can be a coincidence, two times something else is going on here. Their customer service turned worst when I called back to complain about the loaner vehicle they gave us had a really strong cigarette smell. The service manager started the conversation apologizing about the inconvenience and stating that our oil pan was still curing from the repair and that it will be ready the next morning. When I insisted on how much of an inconvenience having the loaner smell so bad, since I am asthmatic and so are my kids. He proceeded to say that he could see what he could do to have my vehicle ready within an hour. WHAT??!!! I said to him are you telling me that you will give me a vehicle that is not properly fix just so that I stop complaining about your loaner stinking cigarette smell. His response was well that is the only option I have for you. I tried to speak to the general manager Roberto, who by no surprise to me was not available to take your call at the moment. He was supposed to call me the following date and never did. Please be aware of how this dealer is putting their clients live at risk by offering unsafe options just to get you out of their radar. Well You got it! Our next purchase, the K5, will not be from your location. You have lost two loyal customer.

The service provided to my vehicle was fine. However, my interaction with the representative was less than desired. Upon trying to explain that I thought I had additional coverage, she continued to recite the same information without allowing me to fully finish my thought. I found her rude and condescending. Customer service is the greatest service that a company can leverage to have returning customers. I can definitively teach this young woman a thing or two.

Last Friday I brought my Kia Sorento in due to a SRS light coming on. I contacted Casey Kia to schedule an appointment to get it looked at, did some research and revealed that there is a TSB for this defect. Drove the vehicle to the appointment where all the staff were pleasant and professional. Got a call later that day stating the SRS issue had been repaired and the cost was covered by the safety Bulletin but, after repair the vehicle was “running rough,” they stated there wouldn’t be a diagnostics fee as the issue occurred after them servicing the vehicle. They said they should have a diagnosis by Monday. Fast forward 3 days they called and informed me that the diagnostics revealed that the throttle body was bad and prepared a quote for repair totaling $900, after I refused the repair they told me they would need a few hours to reassemble and prepare the vehicle for pickup. 30 min later they called and said it was ready. I show up to the dealership, and am forced to pay a $90 diagnostics fee in order to pickup the vehicle . I go out to the vehicle and start it with no issues, drive it around the parking lot no issues, plug is my scan tool revealing 0 codes, open the hood and find every component under the hood to be covered in dirt and dust, just like I left it. Have since put approximately 350 miles on the vehicle with 0 problems. All in all I believe this service department was upset that they had not pulled any money out of my pocket so they falsified symptoms in an attempt for me to pay for unnecessary services. This is the reason I refuse to have my vehicle serviced by “professionals” for non warranty related issues. Another instance of a major company attempting to take advantage of a consumer who they believe to be gullible or unknowing.Update***Service manage says refund will be processed,

I like kia, but my car has been there since june 24th and it’s july 28th now. my engine locked up only after 4 months of owning the car. they refused to fix it due to a “recall” that i was unaware of. be sure what your getting into because now i’m paying 7 grand out of pocket for a USED engine.
Not happy with the service I received. Will not recommend this place to no one. I wasn’t even offered the shuttle service to work while my car was being worked on ( have my uber receipt to prove it). Service manager is not trying to hear anything i have to say about how i was treated !!!!!! I would give this place no stars if i could.

Have not had a good experience here from the beginning. I bought a 2017 Toyota Sienna back in October. I should have walked away when I saw the flat tire and broken gas cap door, but I didnt have the luxury of waiting around to find a good vehicle because my previous one was completely dead. Since buying this van the transmission has had to be replaced (not at this dealership), the brakes which I was assured by the service manager were completely fine are now scraping and I cant afford to fix them, and I was told several different things by different people regarding repairs being covered by the warranty which were not true. I was originally told everything was covered under the extra warranty they convinced us to buy, only to learn brakes are not covered later on when I tried to go get them fixed the first time. The sales and service people are not on the same page regarding the warranty. Sales said the repairs needed were covered only for service to tell me it wasnt. I was told the tire sensor should be fixed by their Toyota dealership only for that dealership to tell me no because I didnt buy it there (though they did do the repair as a courtesy to me for the confusion, so I appreciate that.). The tire sensor was broken before I even bought the van. I had to take it in twice to have them fix it. They wasted hours of my time. A minor annoyance is that the paperwork they gave me says the van is a Limited version but it isnt, its an XLE. Aside from this dealership being an hour away from my house making getting repairs difficult, I will not buy from them again or recommend anyone buy there because they dont uphold promises and they are too confusing to deal with and they sell broken vehicles as if they are in good working order.Additionally, the van ended up costing almost $4000 more than sticker price. I was stupid to have ever trusted them.
Brought my car in for a software update recall. After picking my car up, discovered my A/C no longer works. Called the dealership and they told me I would need to schedule an appointment for 8 days later to investigate. I am livid!! Every time I take my car there, they “discover “ something that was not an issue prior to them having my car. Poor practice and suspicious activity. Stay away!!
