I love Whole Foods Market - its my go-to store. The Newport Beach store is okay but I find that very often I get mis-charged for things I buy. This past weekend when I brought it to the attention of the customer service desk, the person manning the counter treated the issue as if it was an inconvenience to him personally. Stores should want to know when they are not charging their customers accurately - this incident changed my feeling about this store completely.

Fantastic selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious meat and cheese selection. Freshly baked goods in the bakery and just an endless health food selections! Clean facility, extra friendly staff members!Thank you Whole Foods team! Keep up the good work!

Good selections but not everything I needed

One of my favorite places to shop. The inventory variety is very large and offers so much. Very organized store.

Lol for clarification I dont usually shop here because everything is ridiculously priced and dont like the products but its a good location for the kind of people who frequent this store. Needed emergency products and this was the closest place to get them.

This Whole Foods is not quite as big as some of the others but it still manages to carry a decent amount of the favorites Whole Foods is known for. This particular location has a fresh sushi section, deli and sandwich counter. There is also a juice bar. The one complaint I have is that the parking at this location can be difficult at high traffic times.

Love Whole Foods. This is a smaller one but if you can navigate through the tight aisles or just ask for assistance when in doubt; you’ll love this Whole Foods also. I love the array of goodies and kind staff here. Also the fresh produce and apart from the small parking lot (parking is available in the structure adjacent to the store) this Whole Foods gets a 4/5 for me

The outdoor dining area is absolutely disgusting. Every garbage can was over flowing with garbage all around each table. The seats look like pigeons were eating on them. Very unsanitary and not Safe.

The parking is fairly convenient, large variety of products and very friendly staff. A lot of prime deals to take advantage of aswell.

Yeah!! The salad and hot food bars are open again...time to go there for lunch. Life is returning to normal!!

This Whole Foods location is the best. Its located right in Fashion Island, lots of parking and tons of food options! They are open during COVID and are doing pretty good at keeping the lines short/fast moving.

I want to start by saying I hate writing a bad review, I never do and I think its bad Karma. However I am so disappointed with this place and unfortunately they are the only one in my area. Whoever is running this place should NOT be, it is so poorly managed, they are extremely inconsistent with their produce and stocking and when they do have something it goes bad the next day, they should not be selling produce to people for an insane price because of their lack of organization. SO disappointing, I hope they get new management soon :(

Whole Foods is high quality and more expensive supermarket. Of course the Amazon ownership and using the prime membership discount is a plus. However there are a few things that the management must pay attention and bring better operational conveniences for the everyday grocery shopper.1) the layout is not consistent and logical, they really have to work in this item.2) the fresh produce needs serious attention, the layout, the freshness of theVegetables, the quality of the vegetables, the cleanness, the arrangement need real upgrade.3) the selections and brands are hit and miss, there are logical items and item groupings which the store does not carry. There are item which they carry and then stop. Looks like the supply chain management and fulfillment management and operation management tos are missing.4) one last thing, we really thought they Amazon acquisition will bring fresh breath of innovation and customer service and due to the huge well established supply chain systems, we will see a major step up, only to see stagnation and in some areas step back.Hope we see attention to these items, we really like shopping at Whole Foods.

Great produce. Steep prices on everything.

Whole foods is an incredible store. I think some people mistakenly believe that because they sell such high quality food and items that they are not as affordable. Iewrned alot tonight, and am going to be a regular customer from now on. The seafood and fish department is really great with a huge selection of fresh fish.. The entire store is really laid of perfectly and easy to find anything you need. I was in the store less than 20 minutes and was asked if I needed assistance on three different occasions from employees. Since it was my first visit in a long time that was really helpful. I highly recommend awhile Foods.

The store is awesome But the Amazon shoppers here are awful! Im constantly having to return things. They ignore substitutes chosen, still substitute when you decline substitutes, make the most absurd substitutes like celery for leeks. Seriously. Don’t be surprised if you get a watermelon instead of an apple. And you cant do anything except go on the alp and ask for a refund. Plus magically they will substitute without telling you so you think you got everything on your list and tah-dah when you open your bags you find FENNEL instead of asparagus. Or one onion instead of one bag. Or pizza that has ingredients you cant eat even though you selected NO substitutes and dinner plans are ruined. Really shocking in Newport Beach.

This is a beautiful store they have a great selection and the produce is wonderful if you like a good Deli you cant go wrong they have an incredible selection of anything you could ask for and every single time I go there the people are very polite and helpful

The young server named gabe in the rear resturant-bar is Untrained. Poor service. Rude and pushy. Did not offer us anything and put us on hold when there was no one in line, but us. Felt discriminated by him this place is hiringPoor customer service in there resturant. Bar The sign mangement is poor. Reflect from there employeesDidnt even look at us as we sat and ate. Didnt even pick up out dishes they sat there for one hour. I always get service from an older guy who runs the bar hes the best ...

Once upon a time, Whole Foods delivery was great. Now, as a Prime member, the ordering portal keeps flipping me to Amazon Fresh, promising “same speedy free delivery and BETTER product selection.” Dream on. They missed out essential parts of the order. Somebody else’s junk that we did not order and do not eat was in the bags we received.Clearly, Amazon is under “orders from Headquarters” to convert Prime members away from Whole Foods to Amazon Fresh. From what we have seen, there is little in that gambit that we can even cook and eat with a smile in this household.Bye-bye Whole Foods. We hoped you were coming back as we solve this pandemic. Sadly, it appears your new masters have decided to snuff you out in favor of Amazon Fresh.Unless Amazon Fresh gets remade with a new ethos and the local and organic wonderful stuff we cherish, we are back to relying on Amazon for toilet paper. At least they do not screw up when they “substitute” on the TP order. We’ve had Canadian TP and even an Indian brand of TP from Amazon. That stuff, per our report DOES work okay.

Pricey and logistically crowded but great products. Bought a prime bone in rib eye steak that was 1.9lbs it was $37.

This place is smaller than other wholefood in orange county but they are providing great geroceries and best customer service we usually getting juice in this place try and enjoy :)

I am vegan and any day I go, there is ALWAYS something there to eat! This says a lot the variety of foods available in this restaurant, enough to satisfy the non vegans as well. This specific one is massive, with its own restaurant. I got the cauliflower nachos and those were pretty good, and my family decided to check out the food bars where they found various soups, salads and even Indian food. The juice shop is also popular as the juices actually taste good and are very healthy. There are dozens of vegan desserts and treats including donuts and cookies. Theres something for everyone there! Although there are restaurants in fashion island such as Blaze Pizza, if you want a small bite or want to pick up specialty grocery this is the stop!!!!!! Please go there lol

I love this place! So many vegan and gluten free options that look and taste amazing.I would like to know, however, if I can get the Amazon Prime savings; I live in Australia and have an Amazon account but obviously it’s registered to my address in Sydney. Any info on that for when I’m in the US next would be wonderful. I did ask the cashier and she was unsure.

I love Whole Foods! Their pricing is way better then what it was.The staff is always so friendly and helpful!They are pretty good at bringing in specialty items too. I pretty much got everything I requested except my favorite chocolate 🥺“Amberlynn Sugar Free Chocolate” it so darn good!!My only suggestion is for their baked goods that’s made in the store to be cleaner ingredients.

I love Whole Foods and they have excellent brisket ! Being for Texas this is close to home that its going to get. Unfortunately they always ran out of food and have to wait over 30min or more for food. Love their Mac n cheese and beef chili. They always have what I need and they have friendly cashiers. Cookie bar is to die for especially when they are fresh baked !

So many wonderful options to choose from. And my checker was totally polite and smart. Makes my experience fun.

As a frequent to Whole Foods—many across the country—I have to say I was disappointed. Lack of selection, especially at the hot/cold bar and poultry/meat counter. Also, the deli is combined with the artisan cheese section causes you to have to wait a very long time to just get some freshly sliced deli meat. The staff as always is extremely friendly. Nice set up as well.

The ultimate place for the organic food crowd. This store is located in fashion island and there’s a convenient covered parking right across. You can eat in or in the outside patio, either way you’ll get a good view of the beautiful surroundings. Prices for organic food are to be expected ($$) but reasonable.

Good grief this location is huge. Big selections - especially the whiskeys. Friendly registers. I dont like that their receipt paper dissolves and loses all ink upon picking up moisture from refrigerated items hanging out with the receipt in the bag - that created some confusion when trying to divvy up the money owed to the person who paid.I called a month later to follow up on the price on a couple of items and when I did finally get through to a real human who was able to answer the phone, she was really nice to take the time to check on those items for me and was friendly about it - even if I did (probably) interrupt her task-list.

This Whole Foods is a bit smaller than the other nearby locations. Can feel crowded at times. Parking can be a bit of an issue because it shares a parking lot with Fashion Island Mall, Chase Bank, and several restaurants. But probably because of this, they offer a golf cart and driver to help take you and your groceries back to your car. Remember to bring a shopping bag and if you are an Amazon Prime customer, get the Whole Foods app for an additional discount.

Super kind, super friendly and super knowledgeable staff!

I do not shop here due to the cost and location. I do stop by WF to eat lunch and dinner because their ready to eat food is excellent. Grab your container and start filling from many excellent choices both hot and cold. I usually grab a slice of meatloaf, broccoli, green beans and then top off the container with a salad. The choices for your salad are epic and endless. My only issue is the cost. Youll weigh your food at the register and if your not careful you can easily spend $15 - $18. I took one star off because the value is not great but the food is very good.

We visit this place whenever we are in Newport Beach. Their selection is great. Staff is always friendly. We always find some good stuff there, and it is always a good option when we want to get something from the hot food area.

This Whole Foods has a great selection of produce accompanied with great quality. I shop here often and am always greeted kindly and helped accordingly. I would recommend this Whole Foods to anyone I know. I look forward to shopping here again soon!

One day, itll put whole foods and most grocery stores out of business. Very Clean, little pricey, but you can find deals, such as selzer for a 1.00, but the sekection is like no other for food and alcohol.There aincredible cheeze and cold cut deli, a pastry shop, apub, and selection of hot and cold food bar.Pizza, and bagels. Its 100% better than any food store in the country.They could save long Island if they planted 4 stores here, bc they think chic fillet is great. Ha!

The addition of Amazon discounts has made this place much more affordable. Their selection is large, fresh and delicious. I also enjoy their prepared food.

Weve been going to this Whole Foods for 5 years and recently I started noticing changes that Im not liking..most recently I have ordered Birthday cake for my son( as I have done for past few years) it was supposed to be a Spider-Man cake .. I was told they cant do logos due to copyrights .. totally understandable . I only wanted red round cake with spiderweb so I could add my own decorations. when I picked up the cake, it was orange/brown and looked like Halloween cake.. the taste wasnt better either. It tasted like a cheap sheet cake rather then Whole Foods quality cake we used to get. Very disappointing... wont be ordering cakes from Whole Foods anymore... Im not sure if they changed the baker or started using different ingredients, but this was a huge disappointment...On slightly different note ... anybody noticed Purel wipes that have replaced the earth friendlier version used there before? Ugh..Makes you wonder what other changes will Amazon implement... I think its time to look for other organic store That supports local farmers and has high quality produce...

We were surprised to see that there is a bar nestled in the back. They had a great selection of beers and they allow you to bring food in from the supermarket to eat with your beverage. The bar staff were very friendly.

My favorite grocery store of choice. I love their grill and smoked meats as well. I love the bulk bins of trail mix to cooking ingredients too. Not shopping here is a disservice to your mind and body.

Obviously this is one of the best whole whole foods or supermarkets in Southern California. its massive in fact theyre always adding new and exciting things, the latest thing a chia pudding self-serve buffet dessert maker thats right different flavors of already made chia pudding including blueberry and vanilla with all the fixins you could want and ready to go containers you make it yourself prepared and then you go. Another new idea mail self serve guacamole just like the ahi poke station they not do with guacamole. You bet and always one of the greatest things about whole foods is the juice bar no Im not talking about regular juice and coconut organic Asian pear juice mixed with turmeric and cayenne
