Very cute French bakery! They serve breakfast all day! Super perfect if you crave breakfast at like 5pm but don’t want to go to a chain. They have a great selection of French pastries and my favorite is Mille fieulle or Napoleon and macarons and chocolate crossaints and fruit tarts! The carrot cake is good too! Definitely will return!
Absolutely love the food here. My favorites are the crepes and the Mediterranean quiche, my some loves the Nutella french toast. Plus its always nice to to make home a little dessert like the oh so wonderful OMG.
Rounding down from 4.4. Always a pleasure to visit Pandora. Fabulous work in the breads (particularly good lamination on the croissants) and fruit tarts. Crepes available, which is terrific and so rare. Eggs can be a bit tough, ask that the scrambled or omelets not be overdone. In general, a must when in the Newport-Mesa area.
Lovely spot with yammi deserts...Deserts are not super sweet and have well balanced taste. We had a take away cakes for couple of celebrations and they were a hit with no leftovers.Coffee is served in mugs and tasty (European Style made coffee).Variety of sandwiches with crunchy bread to choose from - the one with the lamb sausage is a must to try.
This has been one of my go to places for ordering-in lunch at work. Every single thing I have ordered has been delicious, nicely packaged and beautifully presented. I have ordered the Atlantique crepe which I have attached an image. It comes with greens and was very good. My favorite is the quiche! It is so fresh and savory. I have ordered the Quiche Mediterranean twice and it has been excellent both times. I absolutely love it. I want to try more of their quiches. They deliver so quickly every time I have ordered and there have never been any mistakes. I also tried the Romeo and Juliette crepe, which was enormous enough to share with a co-worker. It was very rich though, we could only get through a few bites! I look forward to ordering from them again very soon!!!! Thank you Pandor for your excellence.Update from 8/25/2020:Went for a quick dessert - tried the Opera cake and pistachio creme brulee. The opera cake was chocolate and yellow cake and frosting tightly layered = delicious. The pistachio creme brulee was different for sure, but I definitely liked it and would get both desserts again. It is so difficult to choose. Once again, Pandor did not disappoint. I dont think there has been anything I have ever disliked here. Everything is consistently tasty!
Good food and desserts. They had a young man who was helping us and he was great..very customer service oriented.
We had a superb time in this restaurant. We liked the great environment and the meals. The waiters were super amiable. I’m content we ultimately managed to visit this restaurant.
Pros:1. Delicious gourmet coffee and amazing matcha tea. Photos:- Hot Match Tea- OMG Latte (the one with the crumbs)- Mocha- Latte2. Awesome service, they are welcoming and friendly3. The food was really tasty. Photos:- Pacific Eggs Benedict- Tomato Avocado Tartine- Spicy Garlic Chicken- Romeo and Juliet4. They have fresh homemade juice5. Great place for families with kids6. Fresh bread! They slice the it right in front of you.
This bakery restaurant is happening! Plenty of baked goods (pastries), crepes, breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Can get busy and crowded if youre looking for seating outdoor ...
Yummy yummyGood and healthy🥗🥙🥞🥬🥦🥑🍅
I love their french onion soup, but it is not consistent. This is the second time it has been so salty I cant eat it. Another time it was very bland. I ordered from Doordash, so ..... Also, they did not put one of my items in the bag. I know Ill have to go through Doordash, but, its really disappointing because when its good, its really good.
Worst service EVER!!! waited 45 minutes for a sandwich and the cashier kept assuring me it was coming out soon only to find out the kitchen forgot about my order.... so then they rushed it out and the sandwich was constructed so sloppy!!
Food is OK. The pastries need more improvement. Breakfast is nice, but the pastries are old and, specially the bread pudding, it seems like mashed up left over Almond croissant from previous days. Needs more experienced staff.
Come in the front door, not the side. You wait at entrance til counter help is ready for you. They have blue tape on sidewalk marking off 6. Wear a mask. Paige helped me with my turkey croissant sandwich order and writing on my Bomb cake. You go out the side door and wait outside til they call you when your order is ready. Took less than 10 min. start to finish. Excellent service, cake and sandwich.
Holy Croissants! Everything looked amazing. On my bike so only got one item. Best croissant including France. French pastries look incredible..will return asap... probably tomorrow...premade, beautiful sandwiches for quick service, full menu looks absolutely incredible. Tucked into a strip center which I will become a regular because it is certainly worth the 25 minute drive. Run dont walk to this place!!!
Always such a pleasure to dine here. This is the first time Ive dined out on the sidewalk cafe style but its necessary now that we have a puppy. Pandor is by far the most popular of all the food choices in this little plaza and it is easy to see why. No matter how busy they are the food is always delicious and the service is great as well as friendly. DOG FRIENDLY PATIO! A++++
They have delicious French patisseries, but you wouldn’t know it because they’re always out of most of the items. They’ll usually only have croissants, macaroons and some loaves of bread left. That’s all. The glass shelves look quite sad because they’re always empty. I came in at 2pm and they’re already out. This isn’t the first time. I think I’m done with them. It’s a waste of time driving there. I thought I would call ahead and see if they have the patisseries I want and of course they’re out. It’s 1:30pm. I should also mention some of the employees are very rude, especially a young, blonde girl. I wish I could recommend this place, but they really need to get their act together.
Legit pâtisserie. Baguette du chef tastes great. We like most of the viennoiseries. Also their bûche de Noël cake is to die for.
A little over priced items were a bit stale
Bought some pastries 🥮 for my wife very delicious 🤤
This is my favorite cup cake place in Orange County. These cupcakes are moist and delicious. The best part, if you are a frosting lover like me, is there is a dollop of frosting in the center of the cup cake. Holy Yum!
Great omlette with feta and spinach..yum
Great food but they mess up my order every time. Would go a long ways if they double checked every order.
Disappointing. I tried the caprese, godfather, and one other sandwich. 50 bucks for three. My salad didn’t have any dressing. It was just dry. There are better French sandwich choices around town.It takes at least 20 minutes to get your order. the workers are slow and not friendly. I told them about my salad not having any dressing, not a word of apology or explanation, just handed me a dressing.
Consistently good food. Pastries to blow-your-diet for.. Nice workers there too. Always clean. My only concern is the coffee service area. But there is hand sanitizer there and at the register.
I will be back for their Dornuts! Dornuts = croissant x donut. They are flaky, soft, and crispy all in one bite! They have 3 flavors: plain (which actually means cinnamon and sugar), vanilla, and chocolate. In order of most liked to least: plain, vanilla, and chocolate. The plain Dornut contains no custard and I feel like it is the pure, unfettered experience. The vanilla and chocolate Dornuts contain a layer of custard sandwiched into the pastry, and the vanilla is a nice light flavor, whereas the chocolate is a bit heavier and a tad too sweet for my tastes. Not to say they are bad by any means! But the plain won out as my favorite for sure! The Dornuts are about 4-5 inches in diameter.Plenty of other things to try here. Ill be back!
The quality of food and pastry is great but I dont know what is going on in thier kitchen!!!! This is a second time there is a hair in my plate. (See attached picture). Also I order sandwiches to pick up and I end up platter!!!I only recommend this place for bread nothing more!
Good Crepes and eggs (but not with salmon, thats not tasty). Donuts and desserts and bread highly recommend!Updated on February 13. They removed sanitizer near the door and cashier. All tables outside were extremely dirty, nobody bothered to clean before next customer. Not sure what happened and why they are not doing good as before...Update on March 2021. Thanks for considering dirty tables. We came one more time today for getting take out order. And all tables were clean so we decided to stay outside for some coffee.
Very good food.
Best french bakery in Southern California, from the French baguette to the pastries, no false note, love everything..... merci pour cette belle experience.
Good coffee, great pastries and desserts.
Bookmarked for years and boyfriend surprised me with brunch here. He got a taste of their chocolate mousse cakes at work earlier in the week and wanted to make his way in to experience the full menu.We arrived around noon and it was a bakery/restaurant that was bustling with patrons inside and out. There was plenty of patio seating and indoor seating, but we chose to sit inside comfortably. For lunch, boyfriend ordered the scrambled egg sandwich while I chose to try their popular french toast. The scrambled egg sandwich came with bacon, cheese, tomatoes, bell pepper and arugula on ciabatta with a side of potatoes. The bread was nicely toasted and extra crispy! My french toast portion was massive! Topped with fresh fruits and a generous pile of whipped cream, the bread was absolutely perfect. I would have preferred a bit of cinnamon or more flavor to my batter, but it had a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. Pretty darn good! And before we left, boyfriend picked up a chocolate cake to go. They had plenty of other pastries on display, but breakfast was too much for me to handle anything else, or at least the thought of more. I packed up half of my french toast to go and it was perfect the next day still!
Good choice for sweets, and the sandwiches are good too.
This restaurant is certainly one of the most pleasant place to eat in the area. Whenever I come there I am deeply pleased. They hold their high standard service and the topmost level of dishes they give. You can never go wrong with this place. Highly recommended.
Keep coming back for their crepes (Jardinerie is my personal favorite) Bread is good real french bread too, and you cant go wrong with any pastries/cakes. Honestly, every single thing Ive ever tried was really good and staff is always nice.
Me as caffe latte lover will choose the other place to have it.
I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is great and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. Whenever we visit this place we pass a cheerful evening. warmly recommended.
From wilty old lettuce, two squeaky non-fat feta, The food here seems a little bit better than Panera bread. Decent ingredients, but lacking technique.
The food is fantastic but the speed and accuracy of service is DMV quality
Amazing bakery items and full breakfast and sandwich options. Great meal
Amazing little shop that sells excellent French pastries and breads, but also amazing and affordable breakfast items.
Really good service food is very good.
Staff as very sweet and helpful!! I enjoyed my meal.
Just like being in Paris
I constantly come grabbing some food here. I enjoyed the prompt service and well made dishes. Never disappointing.
Always has great pastry and coffee
Great little French Bakery. Perfect for a quick meal, pastry, cup of coffee. Plenty of seating outside so a nice place to meet friends. Big shopping area so other places to visit there too and an entire row of small restaurants and cafes to choose from. Quick in and out and lots of parking.
Wonderful almond croissant.
The scrambled egg breakfast sandwich is excellent! With a fresh squeezed oj!!
Love their Rustic Baguettes and half bake Paninis.Breakfast choices are of varieties and unique. Highly recommend this French Bakery.
Tastiest and most authentic baguettes ever
The food is consistently fresh and delicious, staff members hands over good service. I loved the cleanliness and mood. I highly recommend this spot.
Clean, organized, wide tables for 4, middle isle counter is cozy and nice for sitting across from each other. Sitting is cozy. Seats are wooden with no padding with a slight lean back for the back rest.Well descriptive menu with variety, specials, pastries, meals, etc.Food in my opinion is flavorful and salads look fresh. (Have yet to try the soups)Depending on the time of day, a nice place to study or have a business meeting and sit across each other at the counter.
One of my favorite spots to grab some food. excellent location, clean, and good service. Very good job!
This place is first class and has such delicious food and pastries. Everyone is so kind and pleasant, and the ambiance is relaxing on top of the amazing food you’ll enjoy. I come here weekly and recommend it to all my friends. Oh, and the quiche is out of this world delicious!
Omg this place is filled with delicious pastrys and the breakfast are filling and oh so good 🌟
We had cappuccino and raspberry gelato. It was refreshing because it wasnt too sweet. We also had macaroons...the lavender macaroons were my favorite. Good texture and appealing appearance.
Nice little bakery-bistro with counter service for great French-style baked goods and sandwiches, which we enjoyed outside on the sunny sidewalk patio area (serves the entire shopping center). Service was friendly and prompt. If we visit the area again, well return.
Pistachio creme brulee is so good! It doesnt have that fake pistachio flavor. Vanilla creme brulee, fruit tart and some kind of pear and pistachio tart were also excellent!
Great food! Very nice staff. Great great food, yum!Had the veggie omelette with avocado and home-style potatoes. Came after a hike and was hungry :) They had a great pastry with some chocolate too, free samples of other desserts. Great place been 2 times so far!
Extremely tite breakfast joint. Super friendly staff and the coffee is to die for. Must visit you will not regret
Can tell this place is super yummy... But ordered a Florentine Benedict and the yolk was cooked through! 😭 Still delicious and worth another visit for a second chance at the benedict.
Worst service I order the French toast, sunny side eggs and bacon and my food has not come out yet. I approach the cashier after 30 minutes and still waiting for my food. I definitely will not be coming to this establishment.
This place is amazing. It has the most authentic pastries and food weve had outside of France. The staff is always so friendly as well. You dont know what you are missing if you dont try it!!!
If you want better breads & patisserie than this, you may have to go to France! Their almond croissant is so amazing, even a day-old version is better than anything else around here. In fact, Im going to eat one right now. :-D
Excellent breakfast and coffee with reasonable prices. The wait was a little long for our simple order, and it wasnt slammed so thats why 4 starts. Nice outdoor seating, friendly staff. The parking is a little heinous for the center. It seems like they drive the most traffic in the mornings. Definitely worth checking out, again the food and coffee were really fantastic!
Very good food. The staff are all nice and helpful. The food is fresh. We always want more!!
B. O. M. B. From drinks, Gelato, breakfast, lunch and dinner. To coffee, bakery, sweets, bread and COISSANTS! I love coming here no matter what the occasion, time of day or week is. Associates are pleasant and very attentive!
I enjoyed the multi sensual experience of this bakery. The tastes, smells, and sights were divine. The wait on line to order was not. But I will be back again.
Great sandwiches!
One of my favorite places to have breakfast, lunch, and french pastries. The food is exceptional and the atmosphere is relaxing and casual but with still the french ambiance. The french bistro feeling is here and I can go forever about the delicious crepes. Must come and enjoy daily.
I enjoyed Pandor Bakery when visiting friends in California. There are so many delicious choices and attractive goodies to choose from.
This is Newports best french bakery! The bread is fantastic, the croissants here are to die for and the cookies and cakes are out of this world. We go quite regularly for their breakfast offerings. GET THE QUICHE! The pastry crust is so buttery and the fillings are delicious. They always have a little sample sitting next to the register... dont be shy to try whatever is out. Id take anyone here for breakfast (family or coworkers). Dont skip this spot, totally worth the trip!
Unexpected surprise in Westcliff Plaza. Good Cesar salad with grilled salmon option. Also, they had a nice hefeweizen in a bottle. Cheery counter staff.
Love this place! Amazing breakfast food, coffee and pastries!! Great place to meet with a friend or morning date 👍👍👍
Love this place everything is so delicious excellent service comfortable and clean place
Have I ever reviewed a restaurant before? Not sure, but Ive been so impressed in my two visits that I was inspired to say Thank you! with this review. This place has exceedingly good food, reasonable prices, and attentive staff.
Ordered the Benedict Beignets and the “beignets” were literally just hamburger buns, like something they just grabbed off the shelf at Ralph’s next door. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was good though.
The Roast Pork Omelet was fantastic. Loved the salad potatoes and bread on the side. As well as the Nutella French toast. Great environment and friendly staff. (Especially the lady with the gages). Highly recommend!
