It is a nice, quiet place for a lazy morning coffee, quick brunch, and chat with a friend.The Succulent Coffee Roasters place has a lot of room and light inside and a wonderful outside terrace. It is located on a quiet street. There was a lot of space for outdoor sitting, and we enjoyed a quiet neighborhood.The coffee was delicious. If you like European-style coffee, you’ll enjoy this place and appreciate the taste. ;)

Kid approved Coffee Shop. They loved the boysenberry donut and cookie and cream donut. Iced Matcha had a punch of flavor and can taste the quality. Iced Mocha has deep flavor without being overtly sweet. Large outdoor area and a 1 minute walk to the ferry. Happy to revisit

Our group called ahead to make sure they could accommodate us - and they knocked it out of the park! The selection of pastries was amazing, along with the drinks. Super friendly, and what you might think is a small coffee shop from the outside, they have a ton of seating indoors. Highly recommend. Pasadenas Women on Wheels cyclists (all 17 of us) were well-fed for our return trip.

Such a nice place to sit down and have a cup of coffee, quiet with lots of seating. Staff was patient and let us know all the latte flavors (they arent listed on the menu).The coffee was not quite my style I guess, got a vanilla latte. It was really good with each beginning sip, but aftertaste was a bit stale. Would definitely give it another chance since my friend enjoyed their matcha

Delicious coffee and friendly staff! We ordered a drip coffee, cortado, an almond milk latte, and some pastries. All three drinks were great; properly extracted espresso! The drip coffee didn’t even need milk or sweetener. True, third-wave style, specialty coffee. The pastries were great too.The staff was very friendly as well even though they were a bit busy with their morning rush. Thank you for having us!

I ordered Succulent Coffee online and everything about the experience was impeccable. The branding is gorgeous - from the box it came in to the tissue paper that wrapped it and right down to the story of the farmers who grew the product. (note to self: this experience makes a great gift!)The most important piece: the taste! The Superbloom has tones as advertised – I caught hints of apple and milk chocolate, which was a delightful combination. The Finca Dulce Luna was my favorite and the Ninth is on my list to try next!5/5, Id absolutely buy again!

Fantastic Cup of Coffee with a great atmosphere. They roast their own beans offsite, and are extremely knowledgable about coffee blends, you can taste the quality - basically, its the difference between acquiring a made-to-measure suit from a tailor, or buying off-the-rack. Oh, ask for a splash of the homemade Succulent Sweetener with hints of Orange and Cinnamon - truly delicious.

Succulent is one of my favorite coffee shops in all of Orange County! Weve gotten to know the owners pretty well, so when we come in, we feel like part of the fam!And we love their coffee so much that we buy 5 lbs at a time, and we brew it at home!

If you are at all familiar with Pacific Northwest coffee culture, Succulent Coffee is the place for you. This is honestly the best coffee shop in Southern California. The quality is top tier, syrups are handmade, and the staff is lovely. If youre a home espresso aficionado, youll find some of the freshest most tasteful roast blends around. I make a stop here whenever I can!

The boyfriend and I were looking for a breakfast/lunch place to grab a quick snack before running around town. Upon entering, we saw the small Succulent Coffee Roasters menu at the front and a variety of drink offerings up on the chalkboard. The entire menu looked awesome but we decided on one Succulent Coffee Roasters and one tamale (I have a serious addiction) in addition to an iced coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. Coffee done right. Never too acidic, never too weak nor too strong. The chocolate chai is fab, too. Plus the staff is lovely.

Poor selection of offerings. I guess Mondays are slow because they only had one employee working, and the restaurant portion was closed. Made for a long wait. Menu is vague. Turns out they only offer three syrups: chocolate, vanilla, and some wackadoodle thing they made up on their own with cinnamon in it. Big disappointment after the slow line.

Succulent Coffee Roasters has quickly become my favorite place to get coffee. They roast and serve coffee as it is truly meant to be: it comforts the soul, while it quickens the mind. It is evident that they have sourced their coffee from respectable farms and have well-qualified roasters on staff. Each of their varieties, of which there are many, is roasted to perfection; this is no light task because each bean requires its own care and attention. Whoever is roasting those beans, youre doing it right.If it wasnt the high-quality coffee that I can expect from here, I would have fallen in love with its location. The walls are decorated minimally; this aesthetic suits their space well. Open air seating allows one to sit in the gentle morning sun and enjoy. Its about time this island got a third-wave coffee shop.Keep up the great work.

I cant vouch for the coffee here, but their chai lattes are fantastic! The ratio of milk to chai is perfect, and the end result is warm creamy spiced goodness.

The coffee and tea are excellent and the food is very good as well. Popular local spot with a lot of positive feedback from residents who frequent the restaurant section.

Best latte ever!! What a great experience from the coffee, to the space and my awesome baristas. So nice to meet people who care so much about the quality of their product and making sure the customer is happy. Such a fun location too. I recommend the ferry boat ride!

We visit Newport annually and this year we noticed succulent coffee roasters on balboa island. Always interested in a new coffee spot my girlfriend and I thought to try it out! I ordered a single espresso and my girlfriend an americano. My espresso was served with a glass of sparkling water which I thought was an excellent touch for such a simple order. I order espresso often and was expecting a product much less than what I got for 3 dollars. From the first sip I had a profound taste of fruity and chocolate flavors. I was like “woah this is fantastic!” I tried so hard to savor every sip! It was great to say the least. I let the gentlemen know how much I loved my espresso (I believe their names were Adam and Kevin.. forgive me if I am wrong). They went on to tell me that all coffee is roasted by them in LA and the specific blend of beans they had given me for the espresso (Colombian & Brazilian)We are eager to go back because they had such a beautiful restaurant as well with a delicious sounding menu. The vibe is right too. I am so excited to get another coffee from these guys.

What a beautiful place to drink one of the best coffees on our trip. Very nice restaurant with great beans. Jackson and his team are doing a great job and are all very welcoming. Every coffee is prepared very precisely and with love - just right baristas.
