Anytime I come to this beach I make sure to grab a thai tea from Urban Corner! Nice employees and very clean place. Food is good as well! My fav is the cajun chicken fries, make sure to get it with their house sauce its sweet with a soft spicy kick after!

Their drinks are awesome and food is ok just stay away from the popcorn chicken really dry other than that everything is great. The place also has a great view.

Had a Mango Spice Slush and the Vegetarian Fried Rice. Both were delicious.

With such a tempting name, I was drawn in and asked if the Vietnamese Sea Salt Coffee was normally served over ice or blended like a frappe and was told both but blended is better, so on the cashiers recommendation, I ordered one. Received this lump of ice in a cup, seems they forgot the actual coffee, and then looked at my receipt to see an additional charge of 45 cents for blending i.e. reducing coffee content and replacing it with ice! Definitely do NOT recommend this place, dont waste your money, lots of other options in the area.

We found this place on a whim while visiting Newport Beach. There were so many other locations to chose from, but this place looked so good we just had to stop by! Their menu has a good selection of food and drinks! We ordered the house fried rice and garlic noodles with fillet mignon. Not pictured here is there Vietnamese coffee. The food was delicious!!! It took awhile to come out, but when it did we were very impressed. The fillet mignon was suuuuper tender, juicy, and flavorful! The garlic noodles could use more garlic, but it was still good. The fried rice was a little salty to me, but my bf thought it was fine. Id definitely order both again! The portion was pretty big. We both couldnt finish our food and had to take it home. The Vietnamese coffee wasnt that great. It tasted more syrup than coffee. I was disappointed because I was expecting the typical strong Viet coffee with condensed milk.The location is very convenient. The beach is right across from it! Its a smaller restaurant but when we went there were tables available and the line was not too long. There is a bathroom but you need a code which could be found on the top of your receipt!Overall, the food was delicious, good serving, and cheap! Id other both again, but definitely not the drink!!!

Solid Vietnamese/fusion place with a wide range of dessert drinks to choose from. Tried the garlic noodles and was very pleased with the flavor. Cookies ‘n Cream Milkshake looked great, but I think I just paid for an overpriced chocolate milk (the cookie part of it was no where to be found). :(

This is a great casual spot, with a little something for everyone, to get some good eats. Their phò broth is pretty top notch and filet mignon shaken beef is super tasty and tender. Their drinks are great too with different ways to customize. The only thing I didnt enjoy was their veggie egg roll which had a mushy-grainy consistency but it doesnt take from the fact that Ill definitely come back and will be recommending this place to others.

Stumbled across this gem while on a bike ride, with a Vietnamese inspired menu its a cross between a cafe boba shop and gourmet restaurant. Had the breakfast bowl so i got little bit of everything and had the Hangout Tea (Mango, kiwi, chia seeds, orange slice). Seriously one of the best teas Ive had!! And the breakfast was perfect! Definitely coming back!

Great menú, wonderful location and tasty food. Took the family there for lunch and we all enjoyed every single bite of what we had; love pan-Asia food.I recommend the steak fries, tender meat with fresh ingredients and french fries...DELICIOUS!Good customer service, also clean including restrooms.

We discovered this eclectic place in the middle of Newport Beach and Newport Pier area as we were walking around and trying to find a place to eat something good, fresh and hot with vegetarian options. We were pleasantly surprised! The lady took our order after verifying a few times making sure that we were fully aware of all the ingredients and not making any mistakes. We ordered the Veggie Egg Rolls, Vegetarian Rolls and Vegetarian Fried Rice... Each item was prepared as per our liking and served fresh within 15 minutes. The Vegetarian Rolls were really good... the Veggie Egg Rolls were a bit overdone. What was most interesting? The accompaniments - the dipping sauces: one was made with tamarind and another with spicy mustard! Both made our main items more flavorful and added some zest. We really enjoyed this late lunch on a lazy Sunday afternoon at a new place.

They have some great tasting AND affordable food here. Awesome quality too. The best part is that everything here is prepared differently than other places so you will always find new flavour combinations here if you feel adventurous. I couldnt recommend this place more if youre in the area.

Went here everyday I was on vacation. The Sea Salt Vietnamese coffee was our fave, both hot and iced. Im sad I dont have one close to home, otherwise Id be a regular. They have lots of drink and food options all at reasonable prices. Everyone was also very nice :)

So good! I really recommend getting the bulgogi sandwich!! So so so good. This place uses very fresh ingredients. The atmosphere inside is very nice and welcoming. The service was also very fast. So glad we came here and would 10/10 recommend!

Highly recommend!! Stopped for lunch on vacation but wish there was one close to home. We would be regular customers! The food was fresh and delicious and they had hearty vegetarian options. The tofu fried rice topped with sweet chili was amazing!

Good place for a quick snack or a meal on the go. Ordered several boba and smoothie drinks. The coconut taro was my favorite. Also ordered egg rolls, calamari, and French fries. They were all made to order, hot and pretty good for fast food.The location is convenient for beach goers and offers a small seating section. Would return.

The egg rolls are fabulous & a great price! KLook for the friendly cook with a huge SMILE! Its a wonderful place for a cup of gourmet cafe or a bite to eat! Amazing! I love the PRICE! $$$

The meat in the popcorn chicken was... Questionable. I dont think it was chicken to be honest. The wings were though, and they were good. Good prices for the location and friendly staff. Had a lot of other great looking options on the menu as well.

Best bubble tea on the town

Very friendly staff. We ordered pop corn chicken and it came our fresh. Coffee was good too ( white chocolate mocha). Environment is good. Perfect place to sit and relax after the beach.

I love everything I have tried there. The sea salt Vietnamese coffee is fantastic. The smoothies, teas, slush are all amazing. I was visiting Newport for a week and had to go there at least once (sometimes three times) per day to get my fix. The house fried rice, the shrimp and garlic noodles.... Everything is amazing.

The Cajun garlic fries are quite good. Was very busy during 4th of July as it is close to the beach. Yet my party of 8 didnt have to wait long for the food.

This place is amazing. You wouldnt think it had great food because it looks like a coffee place from the outside, but DANG! I had the Korean beef sandwich and spring rolls and the flavors were so good. There drinks are good too, but seriously try some food, you will be floored. I thing there is an actual chief behind the counter. Thank you!!!

I didn’t have coffee but ordered breakfast with 2 eggs, 2 slices of ham, and potatoes. The eggs and potatoes were good, but don’t order the ham! It was tasteless and couldn’t eat it. I had breakfast with ham early this week at another establishment and the 3 slices of ham were delicious!

The food here was really good. I ordered a vegetarian noodle soup (pho) and it had lots of flavor. I also got a cookie and cream frappe/coffee drink, and I liked how it wasnt too sweet. This place is pretty cool too. It adds ocean vibes to the place and I totally recommend this place whoever come to Newport beach.

Not baby friendly. Had a really bad experience today at Urban Cup. We have a baby on his first trip out of state. Sadly our baby was cranky but we were on our way back to where we were staying but we needed a pick me up coffee for the drive back. He started crying and another customer complained saying when her kids where his age she would take them out of the restaurant so they wouldnt bother anyone. She kept rolling her eyes and saying OH MY GOD. Obviously I stood up for my baby and told her that her stance was intolerant and unloving. The employees sided with her and asked us to leave when she started the problem. When it got heated because of the way we were treated they threathened to call the cops. Very bad experience. I feel like this couldve been handled differently by the employees.

Out for an evening stroll to find some food, popped into Urban Corner and decided to stay. The veggie pho was excellent with fresh tofu and the vegetarian fried rice was also very good. The Açaí bowl with blueberry was also very flavorful with fresh fruit toppings and granola. The chai and milk tea were worth it even though they had run out of boba 😞. Good to see another diverse cuisine option in Newport.

Its a tiny place that you wouldnt expect to have such elaborate and delicious meals on the side of the beach. My friends and I sat in and had a good time. My only comment for improvement would be that the seats available there are quite uncomfortable. I ordered the matcha green milk tea and the chicken breast curry. It was yummy!

Whenever Im in Newport Beach, I drop by for a quick bite to eat. Their garlic noodles is one of the best in OC. The keep to the authentic Vietnamese taste, which I appreciate. The only thing that sucks about this place is the parking.

The food here is pretty good. It tastes like the other vietnamese rice and noodle streetcart style restaurants around the area. The inside is pretty clean besides the water dispenser. It is located right next to the beach so the atmosphere is nice. I would come here for a quick lunch if ur not looking for something too expensive.

Hard to find parking in this area and will take a long time so come early just so you can save time to find parking. Omg their mango spice and shrimp pasta is super delicious. Im craving it even right after I just finish eating it which says a lot... lol... Im definitely coming back here again.

The food and drink here are great. But the service isnt the best. There was a misunderstanding in my order that ended up with me getting the wrong drink. When I went up to get it replaced the cashier rudly told me I ordered the drink they gave me, I eventually had to pay for the one I wanted originally without refund on the other one. Im sure that all the service at Urban Cup isnt this negative.

Good boba milk teas and very quick service

Wow, this place was a hidden gem! Located right on the store front of Newport Beach, the food was truly great. We tried the Crawfish Paella, and I still have dreams about it to this day. This is the real deal, and it was the perfect ender to this L.A. trip!

My wife and I enjoy this place every week. We love the vanilla coffee and the vegetarian rolls.

This was the worst bubble tea I’ve ever had in my life. The boba wasn’t cooked properly and almost melted before it touched my mouth. And the sea salt Vietnamese coffee I had also gotten was so rancid I almost puked.

Iced geen tea is a little weak, but the other two items we had (an Americano and White Chocolate Latte, both also iced) were very good. There were a few menu items that sounded very interesting that Id love to try another time. The restaurant itself is clean and nicely decorated, and the music was nice. Perfect little beachside coffee shop.

We stopped in here our last day before flying back to New York. Food was great and so was the service. Very friendly and super clean inside.

I’ve gone to Saigon Beach the last couple of times I was in the area to grub with my girlfriend just as habit but this time we decided to do something different. I am so glad we did, and so is she! We’ll be back soon so I can try that Miss Sunshine drink!Another plus for everyone, they have free Wi-Fi. Great place to enjoy some tea on the beach and get some work done.

Below average food. Register in front is so filthy it had a layer of dust 1/4 of an inch thick, it hasnt been cleaned in years. I can only imagine how clean the kitchen is.

We never miss Urban Cup when were in Newport. The drinks are delicious and the food is good.

I have been here several times. I have had to Pho, Bahn-mi and the shaken Chicken. They are all delicious, and I have eaten similar dishes at many a vietnamese restaurant. I also often order a hot cup of coffee here and it is delicious. I do think it takes a bit for the food to be prepared but if I am in a rush I will call in my order and take it to go.
