Awesome local family owned coffee shop! Great coffee and food. Been coming to Newport for the summer for years and just found this spot, will for sure be a new go to every summer. Prices are really great too. Even when there is a line they get through it quickly.

Great place to hang out! It gives me a different kind of comfort every time I visited this coffee shop. I am such a huge fan of their iced mocha. This place is really worth visiting alone or with your friends and family. No one can beat their excellent customer service, good coffee, and affordable prices. Highly recommended!

I’ll admit, I didn’t have very high expectations because this small cafe is in a strip mall... but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in! They have a large coffee/drink selection and the baristas (I assume they’re family owned) were super nice and sweet. LOVE their freshly squeeze OJ too! 🍊

Get an everything bagel with egg, cream cheese, cheese, and sausage! To drink get the almond power protein shake to, unless you’re allergic to almonds. Go to spot for anyone who knows anything about Newport. Mob after a surf/ workout! Call it in if you’re in a rush, but the line moves fast in the morning.

2nd day in a row Ive stopped by! Great coffee, awesome customer service, and this Capp Special is delicious! Theyre a smaller building with only 2 tables, but most people place to go orders anyway, so if you want to eat in, its definitely possible!

I hate to rate a ma and pa shop like this, but I was very disappointed with the quality of coffee served. Whether it is the quality of the coffee beans, or the method of preparation, something was seriously not at all up to expectations of what Id been expecting from a cappuccino coffee shop. I think they took the name thinking it sounded gimmicky. Weak, unflavorable latte is what I got. It was served in a sort of foamy cardboard to-go cup, which also did little to let the flavor shine. If you want regular coffee you serve yourself from a choice of air pots with various labels. The volume of customers guarantees this premade coffee has been sitting around a while.

Great little hole in the wall! Great coffee. Wonderful customer service. Billy at the register is such a friendly, sweet, helpful person! The ladies behind the counter were very kind and friendly as well.

Amazing bagels. We splurged and added salmon and there were generous helpings and it was fantastic with delicious fresh avocado. Its a small hole in the wall so its easy to overlook and easy to crowd but worth it.

The Al Cap Special is so good! Everything bagel toasted with cream cheese, avocado, and lemon pepper. Nothing fancy but perfect in the morning. Highly recommend Al Cap

Good food,bad service.. I went here about 6 times and every single time the older guy behind the cash register has always been rude. I work around the corner at the hospital as a nurse and he always makes up his own price last minute on the food.. Would not recommend this place when he is working..Extremely rude!!!! I will make sure to tell everyone at the hospital not to go here..

Ever time I am in Newport, I try to get breakfast here. Iced coffee great with coffee cubes. I usually get the Al Capp special or the almond power smoothie.

High quality fare such as breakfast sandwiches, snacks, and smoothies. Gotta get there quick, though, they close early.

Healthy food options. Wide variety of coffee blends. Quick service. Approved.

Good food. Andrew doheny was in front of me in line. Just read a good surf magazine article about him so that was a funny coincidence.

Good coffee, friendly service. Bacon, egg and cheese on croissant was good but I didnt like the American cheese on it.

The good thing they have many options of milk like almond, coconut and soy. But they dont have a coconut sugar, and the barista was rude.

I go out of my way (quite literally) every time I visit Newport Beach ever since I discovered this cult shop in the Wicker Park District... Im a coffee snob (@CoffeeContigo via Instagram) and this place gets it right every time.... not to mention the awesome swag they have for shopaholics like myself!!!
