Couldnt recommend a better scrap yard anywhere, awesome and fair to buy and sell. I have metal hobbies and turn my junk to them and on occasion I need stuff I get from haynes cause the guys know exactly what I need. Would definitely recommend to anyone I know.

I cant believe this is my first time reviewing Haynes Recycling, as Ive been a customer for years! I use them for all my scrap metal recycling as well as used car parts from time to time. This is a family owned business and they have always provided a warm and welcoming environment when I go in. I recommend Haynes to anyone in coweta county for recycling as well as car parts! Thank you Haynes family for being a part of Newnan thats always a pleasant experience!

They really treat you like family there. I would suggest this recycling center to everyone I know. The prices are just too fair to go anywhere else.

Once Upon a Time approximately 5 years ago they were a great place and gave me what my car was worth..This time around we were quoted 175 on the phone and that was with them coming to tow my vehicle there( a charge for that(.. as I desperately needed the funds fully to get the car i have now insured title transfer, registration,etc..,) my roadside assistance actually came out here to tow my car there to help me get the full 175 as I have three kids including two special needs children we desperately need transportation... regardless of that it was very underhanded that even though I had it towed so there was no Towing fee taken out ..I was still only given a $100 personal check that I could do nothing with.not even Walmart would cash it and I had no transportation to get back to get it cashed( yes to Haynes- I even informed them that it was a $15 one way trip to get home from Haynes via Lyft because I have no family ..my mother passed away recently &I do not know anyone else with a vehicle that is within 45 miles of me) there at Haynes :told me I had to wait 3 days.(??) No regard whatsoever for any possible Humanity in these people.. they are ripping people off. I could have gotten someone to come here and give me $125 for same junk cardriving from Atlanta and they would have towed the car off when I say here I mean from my home. Yeah because they told my husband $175 cash we went with Haynes, unfortunately. I ended out having to ask someone from a church to give me a ride 3 days later to Hanes just to get the $100 personal check cashed nowhere else no check cashing place would touch it because it is a personal check not a company check as they insisted. This is just one small personal experience.. I cant imagine what others have gone through..as all in all I ended out only getting $70 cash for my junk vehicle less than half of what I was quoted by Haynes. They offered the apologies no explanations it when I was first handed the check for $100 I asked them could I walk to get this check cashed, as they said oh it was no problem to get it cashed at their local store.. but once and without a vehicle they said it was two or three miles down the road and it was a very cold day not to mention I am a mother of three, ranging in ages 2 to teenagers.(not old enough to work or drive yet!) And have rheumatoid arthritis along with herniated discs and bone spurs so it makes it difficult for me to walk more than a mile... I know this is a detailed story but I want them to be aware of the struggle it caused my family, so maybe they can fix how they quote things on the phone -and then when you get to their shop with your junk vehicle knowing you have no other option by that point thats when they want to give you a lower price.. thats when they want to leave you stranded, no vehicle to get home with a check you cannot cash but to wait 3 days and return to them when you live 20 minutes away??!!, NOT EVEN A WORKING RESTROOM.Well you live and you learn and I hope they fix their issues and are just as kind to people that are not locals as they are to those that they have known their entire lives from being in this town their entire lives.Just another example of how badly one can be treated here, when not from here.. particularly if you are a woman.I used to recommend them all the time but I never will now I would say go anywhere else but them I would say call the junk car numbers that come to you because you will get more money than youll ever get from Haynes for a junk car regardless of having the title. Good luck.I do these reviews to help people make informed decisions ..and if I can help just one person then I feel like Ive done my job. I always try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but in this case it was such a horrible experience that I had to share it.
