There was a great selection with reasonable prices. I cannot imagine that anyone could go in that store and not find a material they liked for upolstery. We were searching for a happy print with specific colors and a print that wouldnt show every spill for a youth Sunday school room. We walked out very pleased with our selection. The gentlemen working there were very pleasant and helpful. Would go the shop there again.

IA is my go-to place when I want to give my home an update. I have recovered the seats on my kitchen chairs and sewn new window treatments for my kitchen window and bedrooms. I have also sewn a table runner for my dining room table. They have a awesome collection of textiles to choose from! They have them mostly coordinated by colors, so you can go to the section you want. You wont be disappointed!

Really disappointed in my experience that I had at interior alternative yesterday. I called ahead in case of covid restrictions and asked if they were taking orders for upholstering chairs that I needed done. The rep explained that I could just come in with the seats no need for appointment - Perfect - once I got there though it appeared that wrapping fabric and checking emails was more important than my service. After walking into the store I was told that someone would be with me in a minute which I then waited for the rep to finish wrapping. After a while of waiting another rep who was helping another customer asked who I assumed is the manger (Bernadette) to assist me as I am patiently holding a stack of chair seats waiting to be helped. Again, one minute response. The first rep after finishing wrapping the full roll of fabric then went and started a conversation with (Bernadette) who was still on the computer. After waiting and getting tired of holding the chair seats it was clear to me that my business was not important, so I walked out. This is when the first rep ran after me and asked if I was ready. I responded that I was fine and that I wouldn’t be doing business with them. Everyone has their off days and I would totally understand if it was busy, but I was one of two customers in the store. I have had positive experiences at this store. Unfortunately, i did not have that experience yesterday. I always like to support local business, but after the lack of effort I will not continue my business here.

Great selection of fabric. Horrible service. I took a day off of work and drove over an hour to come here and was ignored for thirty minutes by employees. I desperately needed help and was waiting for someone to acknowledge me. They saw me but said nothing, so now Im in my car looking up other fabric places to check out on the way home.

Great! Come prepared, with pics of rooms, paint samples, etc. Otherwise you youll waste time, get overwhelmed by all the fabric.Keep an open mind. There are some screaming deals here - be aware of this and plan for serendipity.

Man talking about just about everything you could want in fabrics, this place has everything. Except the one particular item I was looking for, that being headliner material. I for good reason can not fault them for not having it, since its not in their best interest to stock something thats a specialized item.

A great selection of fabric textures and colors on hand. If you dont see what you are looking for, they can get it for you. Multipurpose fabrics for almost any project you would care to tackle. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff and warehouse prices.

Literally thousands of rolls of decorator fabrics of all uses and colors. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are great, and one can browse and get samples to take home. The only caveat is that many of the fabrics are only what is there, although they have a couple of other stores across the country and will happily check to see if there is more they can get for you. Some fabrics can be special ordered, such as Sunbrella and some marine fabrics. They also will make bedspreads and drapes and cushions & covers to order.

It was my first trip there. It is all drapery or upholstery material and a fantastic selection. They even have a large variety of outdoor materials. It gave me some great ideas.

My daughter found this place. She wanted to make curtains for her kitchen and bedroom. Wow! When we walked in, we were surrounded by rolls and rolls of lovely drapery and upholstery fabric everywhere. I thought well be here forever (which could be good but we had other things to do that day). Surprisingly, she found what she wanted quickly. Our salesperson helped us with some questions about calculating fabric amounts. He was very helpful. They will also make curtains/draperies for a reasonable price. The price per yard was much lower than regular fabric stores but they still carried brand names like Waverly. I will return with my window measurements and order curtains for my kitchen. What a great place to visit!

Great place if you are skilled with a needle...or know someone who is. I truly enjoy walking around...my imagination commes to life. Prices are reasonable.

They are very helpful and assured me being as though this was my first time. The lady was patient and answered all my questions. She also printed me out a chart for the fabric measurements so I wouldnt have to take just the picture.Will be returning!Havent checked my prices yet but its well worth the 22 minute drive! 🤗

I am a beginner, looking to reupholster a chair and a half. I was looking for a fabric store and this place popped up in the search. I cant being to say enough good things. The staff in this store are so helpful and friendly. Pat was so helpful, she gave me direction for the project I am undertaking. Since my idea of yardage was way off. If I went with my measurements I would have had about 8 yards to many. Thank you also to Jeane who was also very helpful. The choices of fabric is great, cant go wrong with a stop here.

I recovered dining room chair seats. I bought foam, batting and fabric here. I bought spray adhesive at Lowes. The staff was very helpful, explaining the options and guiding a novice through material selection. There was a very wide selection of fabrics at good prices. The project was a complete success with a total cost of about $20 per chair.

I have shopped here for 30 years. It was my only choice for fabric in DE. I have purchased endlessbolts and upholstered furniture from them. My point; a long time customer spending good amounts of money.Sadly, my experience the last 2 times has been very disappointing. A few years back a shower curtain I had made and was grossly overcharged for on labor. However, this time, an expensive mess! I ordered a duvet cover and got a comforter, lazy roman shades made with the incorrect size rod and now, calls go unreturned.I will not shop there again but what I will share the most is the lack of return calls from the salesman. When buying, very willing to talk with me but after the sale, no reply from the salesman, the manager, trying to help but she was not involved initially. Im stuck with a $2,700 mess!Proceed with great care if you shop there

I visited this place several times, Ive never been disappointed. The prices beat any prices Ive ever seen, the quality of the fabrics will not let you down. You can cut samples from bolts, guess what they supply the scissors, pencil, baskets, for your convenience. Hassle free shopping, look forward to my next visit.

This is a great place for quality fabric that is not sold in bulk at other stores. Has normal fabrics and lots of furniture fabrics. Great for costumes. Prices are decent.

Within 5 minutes of entering I had 3 perfect replacement choices for kitchen curtains. And at 40% off!. This is worth a 3 hr drive but my trip was 1 hr

Interior Alternative is located in a corporate campus / industrial park just off Route 896. It wasnt easy to find at first until I checked the address and realized that it had to be the same building as and a bit down the internal lane from Sky Zone Trampoline Park. This store appears to specialize in fabric that is thicker and broader than what one may find at Jo-Ann, for example. If you need to make curtains, cushion covers, or things like that, I dont think one would find a better store than this in Northern Delaware for price and selection. Especially interesting is the little clearance room at the back of the store. $5/yard is a terrific bargain if you can find what you need among the odds and ends there. Service was really good and the staff was very helpful when we visited on a Sunday afternoon. We found two bolts of fabric that were in the clearance room for only very minor defects and got a very good price on those.

Really good upholstery fabric, but lacking in interesting vinyl. Leather doesnt seem to be sold. I like to remnants collection.
