My friends and I went here for the first time today. We were going to a different fabric store but found out it was closed today once we were here. Since we had traveled a distance, I looked up other stores nearby and saw this one. We are so glad we came. This will now be our fabric store of choice in Newark. The selection was great and so were the prices. The sales people were VERY nice and patient. They also have parking, so we didnt have to drive all over looking for a place to park. If you havent been here, check it out! Its worth it.

I searched 4 different shops - exhausting day - and ended up here on a recommendation from a staffer at Halsey Fabrics (also a super place but only stocks a tiny amount of upholstery fabric). Great prices and awesome selection. So glad I found this place!

Pleasantly surprised to see the variety of high-end fabrics available here. I found exactly what I needed at a fair value. Prices are very good.

A great selection of inexpensive fabrics - I was looking for blue upholstery fabric and they had 4 different shades of dark blue at great prices. The service was also very polite and helped patiently with all my needs. Will definitely go again.

I have known Shor Fabrics for many years. The fabric selection, the quality of the fabrics and stored inventory is the best anyone can ask for. I have seen Shors material ending up selling in very expansive fabric stores for five times more than the price you can find at the Newark location. I recommend anyone that is looking for upholstery and drapes fabric to come to Shor Fabric. You will be extremely satisfied.

If you are in Newark and looking for fabrics, this is where to go. I bought fabric to make curtains and they have a huge selection. I chose the blackout ones and these are real blackout (loght wont pass through, white coated at the back of fabric). They also give me very good low prices (a lot lower than other fabric stores) and are always very helpful and friendly. They also always have some fabrics on sale.

I just realized this place is 5 minutes from me! Huge selection of fabrics. Great prices and great customer service. They even provided me with upholstery swatches to take home and make my final decisions.
