Good selection and friendly helpful staff. If they dont have it, they will order it in for you. Reasonable prices. I love that I can find spiced wine there for Christmas (mulled wine for the Brits). Its german brand and reasonable priced. Only store Ive found it in .. altho maybe because I wasnt using the right american word for it.

Best little bottle shop on 125th!Harlem W&S manages to stock a nice variety of well-curated wines at a variety of price points. Some are a little on the high side but there are great deals to be had as well.In addition they stock some harder to find spirits (particularly bourbon) though the prices on liquor are not always competitive with some other stores in a 1-mile area. The trade-off of location and selection typically make it worthwhile for me instead of running to stores much farther East. As always, Your Mileage May Varie 😁

This place is good for me because they always have the Russian Vodka I am looking for, sometimes but no Stolichnaya which really disappoints me, wish they had a better selection of cognacs, champagne and more expensive wines you will absolutely not find Chateau Margaux or Cheval Blanc, you will not find Croizet Cuvee, if you find it there do not drink it!

Nice selection of wine and liquor, well organized. The door is always locked so they have to buzz you in and out but thankfully theres no sketchy bulletproof glass. Wine bottles are kept upright so beware of dry corks. I would also steer clear of the shelves near the south-facing front window.

Decent liquor store in central Harlem. Good selection of liquors and not bad for wine. They seem to always have a lot of staff but the service is pretty spotty. Sometimes great, often barely can communicate with them in English. Most seem not to know the products and there appear to be no experts who have tasted anything. Prices are ok, but its worth checking around as sometimes they are higher than the store near 125th btw Madison and Park.

Wide variety of specialty wines, not just the typical Beringer, Sutter Home and other cheap ones. Usually when I go into a wine shop like this someone immediately approaches me to assist. There were 3 or 4 workers there, but no one offered service. They were friendly when I checked out though.
