I love the atmosphere and the coffee here! This is a great place to relax and read a book. They have excellent service and waiters are very accommodating. An amazing hidden gem with a laidback vibe that makes you want to stay long. I love setting up meetings here because they have delicious food also at a very affordable price. Highly recommended!

This wine shop is such a cool place! Its really fun experience for tasting a lot of different wines. The expertise and knowledge of their staff about wines were impressive. She helped me in picking a great wine that suits my taste. I love their collections they all various kinds of wines from in different countries around the globe.

I am partial to a wine shop that allows you to bring your food while enjoying your beverage of choice. So, this place ranks as one of my favorites as there are several restaurants within walking distance. Great staff and downright fantastic patrons and the staff here are one of the kindest and most social people Ive ever met! If you want to be with people who enjoy wine and small talk, this is your place.

I went to this wine shop before when I had a short vacation in this area. I really got fascinated by the wines that they got. It was indeed delicious and satisfying. The sparkling wine that I bought from this shop was so great. Also, I’ve got amazed by their staff. She was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the wines. The place was so classy and elegant. Ordered a chateau ducru beaucaillou from this merchant on Vivino ($228) and it was spoiled. Tasted like vinegar.Thanks for the reply. To give you some idea, lets say the comparable first wine of second growth Bordeaux is 9/10 (like Pichon Baron, Cos d estournel), and second wine of second growth is 6/10 (Croix de Beaucaillou, Reserve de la Comtesse). This particular bottle was a solid 2/10. So bad it was in a different universe. If its directly from the chateau and youve stored it properly Im really not sure what went wrong. Another thing I dont like about the ducru beaucaillou (which isnt your fault) is theres no authentication code or bubble tag.

Without a doubt my favorite wine and liquor store in the area. The 3 wines for $30 is always a great buy. They have a friendly staff who is willing to answer any questions you may have about wine or liquor. Frequent tastings are always a nice surprise as well.

This place is fantastic and friendly. I was brand new in the neighborhood when I stopped in for the first time. I was looking for some nice sparkling wines as a gift during the holiday season. The staff was beyond helpful - gave me several options in my price range and offered helpful guidance on which were the best value (even when the price meant a smaller sale for the shop). I returned on a second occasion to purchase wine for a party I was attending. Again, the staff was great. He asked how the wine was going to be received, and whether it would unceremoniously rest on a table of other drinks (which was the case). With that in mind, he selected something that was good, but economical as well. His thought being, no need to go for the big spend if it wont be noticed, and possibly not enjoyed appropriately. This great little shop will get all my wine business.

I recently ordered two bottles of bourbon online and three times received a prompt that my credit card information was incorrect. Im 100% positive my card information was accurate as three charges for the same amount posted to my credit card statement. I also received an order confirmation number from royal wine merchants. I didnt think much of it, figured it might be a system glitch, disputed two of the three charges and waited for a tracking number for my shipment. When it never came I emailed royal wine and relayed all of this information. While they did respond quickly, they completely ignored everything I said and simply said my card information was wrong and they didnt ship my order, even though I referenced my order confirmation number and told them multiple charges hit my credit card. I was offered no recourse and the fact that I said all three charges posted to my credit card statement was completely ignored. I have purchased alcohol online multiple times recently from different stores with zero issue. The lack of customer service from royal wine when I explained my issue has lost my business for life. Im sure they dont care as I am only one customer, but I believe in praising great customer service, as well as calling out bad customer service, in hopes that the issue may be corrected for future customers.

Great place to buy wine or whisky. The staff is very knowledgeable and will always take time to make sure that you buy what you are looking for and to give you a lot of information about the winery and the technics used to craft the wine.

Intimate stop for fine wine and good liquors. Tastings, and they make good recommendations.

The place has a good selection for its size and the staff is friendly, but around here youve got to be suspicious about price. I got a bottle of brandy as a gift for $53. Checking it online, it goes for about $40--a little less some places, a little more others. That may not be the worst price gouging in lower Manhattan, but I wont be going back.
