This place is awesome!! A huge selection of some of the best spirits on the planet. Walking up to it, you would never think that a NYC gem was behind the doors. Once in inside you are greeted with a universe of bottles of all types of wines and spirits. Warmly lit and inviting to come buy something. I was greeted and helped by one of the knowledgeable staff on the one item I wanted. There is so much there I couldnt stop at just one. With a brief lesson on port and sake wines I went in deep. This will be a great weekend!

Seriously wonderful wine and liquor store on Bowery and Houston.They do wine and spirit tastings on Thursday- Saturday at 6pm.Their prices are incredibly reasonable for NYC and the people I interacted with were super helpful, polite and attentive.The prices are clearly labeled, they have a wide variety, a refrigerated section and lots of cool items in addition to booze.

Staff gives great recommendations. Nice interior. Great selections at all price points. And... delivery for when you just cant walk those 2 blocks. Great store!

This is the first wine and spirit shop we went to when we moved to the city and it was very fortuitous because it’s by far our favorite in New York so far. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and always steers us in the right direction. Don’t miss it!

Absolutely wonderful store. If you’re thinking of dropping in... do it! Staff are very helpful, they know their products inside and out.Great selection of new- and old-world wines in a good range of very fair prices. Tremendous liquor selection too. If you’re having trouble finding a particular brand of vermouth or a somewhat obscure digestif, perhaps a really excellent $35 Nebbiolo from Piedmont or a small batch single malt, definitely make a visit.Chat with the wonderful staff, and take their advice! You’ll be glad you did.

I never really write reviews but my experience was such, that I felt I should. I placed an order with them online (for almost $100 worth of wine); and my Apt # wasn’t showing up on their end. It began as a polite exchange: they called to confirm and I apologized and gave them the Apt #. The person on the phone then said to me in a heinous tone: “Well, how did you think we were going to get it you?” — This literally came out of nowhere, I said “Well it was an honest mistake...” and then they hung up on me. I was shooketh. I called them back and someone else answered the phone, and I said “I’m just confused, I think someone just hung up on me, I just want to confirm my order is still in the works...” This person then said “I’m confused why you’re confused...” And was met with more obstinance. Obviously, this was not a good experience. They were needlessly rude to me. Which is surprising given the other reviews on here. But from my experience: their staff is rude, even kind of mean, and don’t seem to care if they lose a customer: which they have.

After looking extensively for my Reisling, this place had it! I was so happy, now I order my wine and go pick it up.Did I mention I live in Brooklyn, well worth the trip?!

Very rude and pretentious staff. If you ask a customer if they need help, don’t belittle them for looking for a wine at the lower price point. The woman did not even acknowledge my friendly “have a good night” after I did not take her up on her $50 bottle suggestion. Help customers with what they’re looking for.

Great shop for wine selection. they were so nice indicating me the correct wine for a BBQ. Also they had a tequila tasting happening, where you can try 6 different drinks.

Great place for hard to find stuff especially bourbons, whiskeys and scotches. Very clean and staff is not only knowledgeable but charismatic and friendly also.

I live in Washington State and often shop online for fine tequilas that I cannot find locally (or affordable). Bowery & Vine had a very hard to find Arrette Unique Reposado that Id been looking for. They had the best price I could find anywhere in the US. Couple that with free shipping for orders over $150, and BAM, killer deal. But, wait, it gets better. So, I ordered 3 of the bottles that I really wanted, and ordered two others that we priced well, but not something I would normally order online.I placed my order on a Saturday night. It shipped on Sunday morning. BAM. It took a week to arrive (which is exactly what they the order told me it would be). Packaged very well, and exactly what I ordered.So, then I pull out the receipt that shipped with the bottles. They had actually reduced my bill by $30 because the tequila I ordered was actually on sale (from their ridiculously low price) down $10 each. They didnt have to do that, I would never have been the wiser. Cheers to them. They have earned my repeat business for sure.
