Couldn’t help but notice the bright pink house near the Astor Street 6 station. It was cold out so I ordered a chocolate caliente (classic) and churros with passion fruit dipping sauce. The hot chocolate was pretty good but it was heavy on the milk vs chocolate and spices. The churros were freshly made and bomb ESPECIALLY with the passion fruit dipping sauce! The portion was huge for one person, I think like 5 or 6 big pieces so good to split with someone else.Would love to come back and try their paletas and other items in the menu
A small kiosk located in the middle of Astor’s place La Newyorkina offers great Mexican desserts ranging from icecream to churros. They have hot chocolate, popsicles and my personal favorite chamoyadas, mango sorbet covered in chamoy a sweet yet tangy sauce sprinkled with chili flakes and a tamarind straw on the side. This kiosk is a great place to pick up some Mexican goodies, yet if you’d like a wider selection you could go to their other locations in the city.
You gotta believe these sweet exist.Cause I do, we do..Good spot for having ice and sweets at ease. They said that La Newyorkina delivering sweets to the city that never sleeps. They might just right. They got the point, we got the point.Awesome.
The best paletas ever. If youre into dairy get horchata, its made with cinnamon and almond.. if youre vegan or just dont like dairy, you cant go wrong with pineapple mint!! These paletas are absolute bomb! A must try if you havent had them yet.
Solid place. The service is excellent and the Paletas are always tasty.

It was very good, but for X reason it no longer opened to the public
