If you haven’t been to the main store in Florence, this is the next best opportunity. Products all made with natural ingredients based on formulas hundreds of years old, in some cases. I love their room spray “Estate”…sublime. It may seem expensive, but many ingredients locally sourced in Tuscany. A real treat.

I am so impressed with this store, the fragrances and the staff. I visited after Thanksgiving time, and a staff member introduced me to all the scents, spraying different fragrances on small test strips and telling me all the details behind the fragrance and ingredients. She mentioned some fragrances were more citrus-y while others were woody, etc. When I asked to try an earlier scent again to compare, the staff member correctly remembered which one I liked. I ended up buying the Alba di Seoul. Its on the pricey side, but well worth it. The history behind the fragrances is also impressive. Enjoy!

Was gifted a horrible smelling perfume. Went to exchange it. NOTHING! They dont have a high turnaround because not unless you want to smell like a grandma, scents are old stock you cant smell anything (or just a rancid smell) Im going to be loyal dyptique I swear lol.

***Update - my concerns were addressed perfectly. The products are lovely. This is not the place to purchase them if you are ordering online. They do not readily disclose (you must look carefully through the site) that their quoted shipping price is not what you will be charged. You will be charged more for shipping than you paid for the products. Then you will wait several weeks - they wont answer the phone, they wont answer most of your emails - to receive. At that point, it becomes clear that they dont know what theyre doing when it comes to shipping and, due to COVID, theres no real opportunity to see what they charged you for shipping until you open the waybill. No answer when I asked why it was so expensive. Frankly, had the borders been open, I could have taken a cheap flight from Buffalo to NYC and spent less money.

Walk into Florence right off of Lafayette. Amazing products and staff. I use the face cream and the rose mist- so lovely on the skin. Ask staff which one is best for you-they will steer you in the right direction. My husband has very sensitive skin and the almond cream works wonders for him! My teenage daughters adore their creams as well (body and face). I have bought the candles as gifts and for myself (gorgeous!). Excellent and natural quality. I head back there tomorrow for Fathers Day shopping-and will probably pick up a Vespers candle from me to me : ). In a sea of junk for sale in Gotham, thank you for your amazing products-. Quality and craftsmanship are alive and kickin in NYC!!! Refreshing!

Beautiful products with gorgeous packaging. The staff is very attentive... but in a way that makes you feel like youve walked into a super old church.... and they dont want a brick to fall on your head.... or you to destroy an ancient curtain. The music also gives it that ancient church vibe. One of the oddest shops in the city. Even the actual Santa Maria Novella isnt quite as stuffy. But they do know how to set an atmosphere and it is an experience.

Terrible customer service. Received rancid product and Kristin would not let me exchange after numerous emails, pictures etc. The bottle I had was brand new, I only wanted an exchange for the same product (just not rancid). I would expect so much more from a premium brand that I once loved very much. Stay away!!

This place makes the best potpourri. Hands down

Empty shop on a Sunday afternoon in Nolita when there are thousands of shoppers out and about. Snippy person minding the store eyeing every move, offering forced helpfulness - makes for a very unpleasant browsing experience. I like the products but will get it elsewhere from now on.

Love this place! Youll find Italian exports that are difficult to find in New York, like Lorenzo Villoresi colognes (mmm!) and the complete line of Santa Maria Novella products. The latter is the raison detre for this shop, with fabulous old-school skin creams, mouthwashes, room fragrances, etc. Okay, so a bar of soap is $35, but youre supporting NUNS here, folks!

This is my go to place, when not in Italy. The staff is helpful & friendly.
