I was there Sunday October 17, the person that was there was very nasty to me, that girl refuse to answer cuestión and was very irrespecfull to me, I do no recommend that store to nobody

This store hustled me for money by telling me I did not have an upgrade, charged me full price for a phone, when I got to my regular metro location the man told me I infact did have an upgrade and they over charged me by 69.99, then when I call to complain they say they do not have a manager and there is nothing I can do to resolve this issue. I am a hard working blue collar man and this is unacceptabl. Still waiting for this to be fixed. After the issue is resolved I will no longer use or recommend Metro PCS. Discussing

Absolutely great customer service....I go to this location strictly to pay my monthly bill and they really do their best to get me in & out within 10 minutes TOPS....Even if they are busy, they are very adept at serving the customer as quickly as possible... I most definitely would recommend this location to any Metro PCS customer.. highly !
Deceptive pricing and unreliable setvice. Charge high fees for services can be done via customer service on line 9r over the phone free of charge. Also failed to proactively inform customers of the charges for those free options online unless customers ask. Also aggressively promote protection cases cost over $20 while you can find them for only $5 or even cheaper on line. Mobile service quality is also subpar in New York City. Experienced many dropped calls or missing calls. Cannot recommend this service.

Service was great, however, the case I purchased for the phone looked good when I put it on the phone inside the store. When I got home and tried to insert the headphone jack and the charger, they did not fit. The case is poorly made as the apertures are not cut properly. Called the store and I was told I was sure to get a replacement. Left #, name and all and was told I was gonna get a call back once new cases arrived, which was supposed to happen the following week. Three weeks later and no call. Called the store and was told that its my fault that I made a poor choice in buying the case. First of all, its a ripoff. Those cases cost 3.99 online, not the $25 you pay at the store. But money is not the issue here; its the fact that they blame the customer when its their fault for selling defective product. My advice to new customers is CHECK everything you buy very carefully before stepping outside this store. Like the rep John said, all sales are final and its your fault for buying a defective product. Better yet, buy accessories online, they are way less expensive and probably better quality. And if defective you wont end up feeling like you were taken advantage of.

Okay, i have A LOT to say about this, though the service was great let’s get that out of the way and it was very quick but other than that; here’s my story. So basically I got a new phone and my old SIM card didn’t want to work on my new phone so I went to buy a new one and it was about $25 so I said alright, she asked for my account name and number, I told her and when I gave her my number she proceeded to repeat my number back to me about 3 times really really loud which lead the other people in the store hear my number too. Which i thought was whatever until this happened. The machine for using the debit cards stopped working so she told me to go to a near by bank to take out cash so of course I found no problem in that and started to head out, until one guy told her since the machine isn’t working I’ll go to the same bank and take out money. So I’m walking and the guy seems to catch up to me which I don’t find alarming what so ever until he started asking me so many personal questions, like where do u live where do I go to school, all those things, so of course I lied and told him false information. He seemed to be in his 30s and i am 18. So once we got out our money he proceeds to walk with me and all of a sudden repeats my number to me and starts asking me if he can text me, at this point I was terrified and really angry at the sales lady because she said my number out loud while other people were in the store. I start walking really quick to get to the store and he just races after me, I was terrified. I got to the store and he paid whatever he had to first and so I stalled a little to see if he would leave but he pretended to look at phones for a while until I was done and started to head out. I told myself I’d be going to the other way cuz I knew he’d be going the opposite way, since I wanted to see if he was going to follow me, but thankfully he took the opposite way (like I predicted) and looked very confused when I went the other way. I was relieved until I felt my phone vibrating and it was someone calling, at this point I knew it would be him so I went to the nearby Starbucks, TERRIFIED and tried to calm down, every time someone stepped into the Starbucks I looked back to make sure it wasn’t him. After a while I went home and he called again. But after that never again. The service here was good don’t get me wrong but I’m traumatized of what happened to me and I can’t ever let it go. It was a scary experience and it was all because the sales lady said my number out loud 3 times while men were in the store with me. That’s my story.

Gave me a defective cool pad legacy for a whole 200 bucks. It cant take videos and the salesman assured me there are no problems with the phone.
The staff is extremely unprofessional and very ghetto. They care way more about trying to sell you new products and offering shady deals than actually helping the customers with the issue they walked in to take care of. I went to pay my bill a couple of months back and they were too preoccupied with putting the money in the register and processing payment to realize that I might want the change for the 2 $50 bills I handed them for my $63 payment. They had me stand there for 20 minutes while they asked random customers for change. Ridiculous. Then, when I ask to speak to a manager I was literally cursed at for trying to do THEIR job an rectify the situation.
The customer service person couldnt help me . I needed a sim card, but he told that my honor phone couldnt work because different frequencies.

They need to improve and get trained more how to deal with customer care and skill to raise their revenue, instead of just tossing around their responsibilities. They might maniplulate their location benefit because of so many people pass by. But, Its pretty unprofessional and shameful.
I encountered something similar to what another reviewer experienced. Last week, I visited the store around 7:40pm, and as soon as I stepped inside, both a male and a female staff member told me that they were closed and that I should return the next day.What are the actual hours? BE CAREFUL, THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!! The promise you a price on your phone - you paid the first installment, and when you get the bill from SmartPay, is a totally different amount!I went there to purchase a phone, and to change my phone carrier from T-Mobile to Metro PCS to save some money. I decided to finance an iPhone. The staff member explained to me the charges and the contract, and we went over the terms and monthly payments, so I was clear about how the payment arrangement work.The staff member at Metro PCS told me the phone will cost me an amount, but the contract with SmartPay said something differently. She didn’t give a copy of the agreement the day I paid the first installment, just a store receipt. I kept getting this call from SmartPay, but I didn’t know they were the company that was financing the phone until I spoke to them.The phone cost $300.00 more than the price staff member at Metro PCS offered at the store. The people of SmartPay told me to go to the store to clarify the transaction because that wasn’t the deal at their end.The next day went to the store, the staff member at Metro PCS told me that the amount that SmartPay told me was the maximum amount that I could borrow to purchase a phone, but the deal was what she explained to me previously. We went over the math again, just in case. Then, I left. I asked for a copy of the contract (SmartPay told me she was supposed to give to me the day of the purchase). The staff member at Metro PCS told me to come back on Wednesday. She was trying to delay me, so the 7-days return policy didn’t apply. Therefore, I wouldn’t be able to break the contract and would be forced to pay the overpriced iPhone.For public knowledge, the iPhone 8 goes for around $500.00 (Apple Store), but if I kept this shady deal, the phone would it cost me about $1,000.00.I called SmartPay again, and the customer services representative explained to me that the staff a Metro PCS was lying.I went back to the store the next day (not when the staff member at Metro PCS told me to go), and there she was. I told her that I want to return the phone because the cost of the phone is way higher than the deal she offered me and that she lied. She called SmartPay, and she tried to explain to them that they were wrong about the payment plan, but I kept telling her that she needs to mention the total price that she offered me before, but the staff member at Metro PCS - 32nd street didn’t say anything, and kept talking to the teller from SmartPay... She knew. She scammed me. Shame on her.The ladies that are working at Metro PCS- 32nd street, NY, NY are scammers. I don’t know if they get commission by every phone they sell or what, but please avoid them. The staff member at Metro PCS didn’t give me a contract the day (only a receipt) to prevent me from seeing the original price. First, she knew I wouldn’t go ahead with the deal, and she would’ve to lose her commission. Second, I went to pick the contract two days later, and she told me to go on a date when the return policy would be expired. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST.I will take this case to the NYS Consumer Fraud Bureau. Metro PCS is a carrier that offers cellphones to low-income folks like me, they should have a more honest practice and stand at their stores. I probably won’t recover the almost $200 bucks I spent to get iPhone and service, but they need to close this Metro PCS - 32nd street, or get staff members that won’t scam their customers. GOOD LUCK FOLKS, AVOID THESE SCAMMERS.

I have never been so disgusted in my life. I am almost 40, so that is saying a lot.A person skips me in line after I waited 10 minutes to be helped. Not once was I acknowledged. Not even a quick look in the eye to give me a sense of customer service or a damn soul for that matter.The manager was helping a group of men ahead of me. Doing a phone contract, so I understand it takes time but never did she acknowledge me.A customer skips me and I go to the other worker and state that I am on lunch and in rush. Could I please be seen in order. I have been waiting. She ignores me. I am flustered. The manger looks up and shrugs it off.I try to complain and to the worker that is now helping the person who skipped me. Instead answering back with maybe I am sorry, I will be with you eventually. Or ANYTHING she begins to speak in Spanish to the customer ( they were speaking english) and ignore me.I speaking Spanish myself and curse obscenities at them. They are shocked. I assume they thought I didnt speak spanish. I leave store.So pissed

Some of the people work here have a dont care attitude. The lady who activated my account gave some wrong information to me and also completed the activation without telling me my PIN and secret question. I think because she was in some rush for some reason.
