Stephanie was the absolute best! This boutique is by far the most beautiful place I went to try on dresses. They carry a specific style I was looking for. I knew I wanted sparkle and a fitted gown.Its so nice to have the whole place to yourself plus the bridal party. We were given slippers when we walked in. You get to walk around and look at every dress. Stephanie was so friendly and welcoming. She really got what I was looking for.I ended up finding my dream dress and I almost overlooked it! If it werent for Stephanie suggesting that I just try it on I would not have pulled it. She fit it to me so well with the clips I wouldnt have been able to appreciate how perfect it was without that. In fact every dress she made sure it was fitted to me and laid comfortably so I could get a true feel for it. She did not rush us and really let me feel out each gown.I love my dress and all my conversations with customer service since placing my order have been great as well. Stephanie is so lovely! My sister already said shes going to go here to try on dresses for her upcoming wedding. I definitely recommend this boutique for brides!

I had the most DREAMY bridal experience at Spina with Melissa! She was AMAZING. She was SO helpful and went above and beyond to make the experience special for me and my family! I just cant say enough! I found the perfect dress and Melissa gave me amazing advice for tailoring the dress perfectly to my body, for accessorizing, and even for the wedding day itself! She made sure I was 100% sure of my dress before moving forward and I really appreciate that. Im so glad I found THE dress at this beautiful store and get to work with Melissa. And Daphne Newman veils? Yes, please! I love the sweet memories of finding my dress here - LOVED EVERY MINUTE.

Had the best experience at Spina! Super intimate and classy place with very knowledgeable and caring sales associates - shoutout to Melissa! They have a gorgeous, well curated assortment. I knew the dress was “the one” before I even had it all the way on! I wanted to make a few minor changes to the dress and they immediately called the designer and made it happen, no questions asked. Other bridal salons I went to did not have this level of service!

My experience with Spina Bride was nothing short of exceptional. I flew in from out of town to visit several NYC salons but this one was by far the best. I worked with three women there, Giselle (the owner), Nancy, and Stephanie, all of them so lovely! They had several offerings in my budget AND size which was so nice because I am not sample size. They made the experience very relaxed and did not pressure me in any way to make a purchase, unlike some other stores who are clearly all about the commission. I ended up purchasing the most gorgeous gown and can’t wait to wear it next year at my wedding!Also, after seeing the most recent negative reviews I have to say that I think it’s disgusting to have a band of people gang up against a small, woman-owned business (especially in times like these) when it clearly seems like it was an alterations issue, not an issue with the salon.

Visiting Spina Bride was every girls dream experience when trying on wedding dresses. Their beautifully curated collection of dresses played a large part in that BUT most importantly the consultant Melissa could not have done a more amazing job. She was so kind, so knowledgeable and so comforting. She warmly welcomed myself, my mother and sisters and shared in our excitement. She took the time to talk to us about the wedding and showed us everything in the store and then let me pick whatever I was drawn to before suggesting anything to ensure I was truly happy. She even knew which dress was for me before I even told her! Once it came time to pick what I wanted to try on I said this dress is a MUST and Melissas jaw dropped and said Look, I have goosebumps! As soon as you walked in, I just knew you had to try on this dress! Long story short, it ended up being the first dress I put on and it was THE ONE! Spina Bride was my first time trying on dresses and boy, any other place I went to just couldnt compare after the dream I experienced here.

It was a dream for me to visit the Spina Bride store. I traveled from Miami just to visit that store and even though I didnt end up buying a dress I still loved my experience. I had Isa as my stylist and she was super helpful. She was honest with her opinions and was not being pushy. Overall, If you are bride this store is a must visit. I also loved how clean and organized everything was.

I had an amazing experience at Spina Bride. I had both a dress appointment and an accessories appointment here. Isa was a wonderful stylist, she was so patient when I wanted to try and re-try different veils and took so many pictures for me since my mom couldnt be there in person! She listened to the kind of look that I was going for and gave helpful, knowledgeable advice. She was never pushy, just lovely! The store was also pristine and perfect, and the appointments were completely private which made for a special experience. Cant recommend Spina Bride enough!!

Really upset to leave this review as I was so excited for my visit. But, from the first visit to trying to schedule a second, this salon has been nothing short of a nightmare. Disorganized, poor communicators, pushy salespeople with rude attitudes- not anything like what you’d want or expect when buying your wedding dress. Certainly not the type of place I’d trust with managing the complexity of ordering my custom gown & making sure it arrived on time for my wedding.

Walking into the La Spina Bridal store felt like a dream. Everything is pristine and perfect from the moment you are greeted. The team at Spina is fantastic. They help you with all of your concerns, questions and they are so professional yet make you feel right at home. It was such a joy working with Giselle. She was there when I first tried on and there when I picked up. Each time it was a great reunion and I couldnt be happier with my experience. The dress was lined and fitted perfectly. I am very excited to wear it this summer.

Had an amazing experience here. They only book one bride at a time so you have the whole boutique to yourself. Our stylist Mel was very knowledgeable about each dress and extremely helpful. I was torn between a dress here and at one other boutique. Followed my heart with the other gown but I know I would have been very happy going with either shop because the customer experience at both was top notch. Spina’s gowns are gorgeous and the designers they carry are very unique. Highly recommend for the best experience!

I’m writing as a bridesmaid in my little brothers wedding. The wedding was postponed a year due to COVID so there was ample time to get this sorted. The dress purchased was beautiful but when it arrived after alterations it was cut using someone else’s measurements! Someone obviously much shorter and larger. The next time it came it was a completely different dress in color and fabric and still a bad fit. The bride offered to work with a local seamstress and Spina agreed to cover the costs. Once the dress was altered Spina claimed that it was the seamstress who had ruined the dress and refused to pay! They offered to return the dress at 50 percent of the purchase price. The bride had to buy a new dress and has lost so much money. It’s horrible a bridal shop would compromise someone’s wedding day this way.

This company is a disaster. Cost my daughter thousands of dollars and put her through major stress. Extremely untrustworthy and would advise NOT to shop here. Major problems with dress that they would not resolve for wedding day.

Absolute disaster. I purchased my 8 THOUSAND dollar gown Jan 2020. I was sent the wrong gown 3 times, over the course of 2 years, and the final result, the shop told me that it was my seamstress that caused the problems, and refused to give me any refunds. I had to purchase a 2nd gown, and am now out over 10 thousand dollars. This store broke my heart and caused me so much stress. I highly advise not working with this business.

Walking into Spina was like walking into a jewel box! The dresses were so unique and the experience was a 10/10. Isa was so helpful and efficient- steering me in the right direction while letting me make my own decisions on which dresses to try on and which looked the best. This store is a gem and a must visit for the more alternative bride.

Spina was my first stop of 3 bridal boutiques - after visiting 2 other stores I just had to get back to Spina to purchase my dress. The overall experience and expertise of the stylist, Isa, blew me away and made the process so enjoyable and truly one of a kind. I wanted to make a few customizations to my dress and Isa was able to offer guidance and quickly coordinate with the designer to provide firm answers for me within hours. I am so happy I visited Spina and am confident that the rest of the experience will be just as seamless as finding my dress. Thank you to the entire team for making it happen for me!

I couldnt have imagined a better dress, and experience than I had with Spina. I was referred to Spina by my wedding planner and I am beyond grateful for the recommendation. Isa and Melany are so amazing. Each one of them were intuitive, professional, and genuine and made the experience seamless. The ladies hand picked the most gorgeous dress i have ever seen. They were so very accommodating with the appointments. Isa’s energy was so warm and welcoming. I had a fantastic experience at Spina with Isa, who kindly guided me through and helped me find the right dress after a long search. Several friends had recommended Spina to me, and it lived up to my expectations. The dresses are beautiful and the designers were ones I hadnt seen anywhere else.

I would not advise shipping here at all. My fiancé lost a lot of money because she decided to do business with this place. If you do purchase a gown here, especially do not purchase from the designer they carry, Carlos Santos. But like I said, I would not advise shipping here at all.

You have to make an appointment at Spina! It is a wonderful experience because they really take care of you. Giselle and her team are amazing! I had a really complicated theme. It is a great gatsby party. We are not very traditional people and we felt right at home and understood. I had a great experience at Spina Bride. I went to their Chelsea location and felt super special as I had the place to myself! Unlike other bridal salons I have been to, the samples at Spina feel so well taken care of and really reflect the quality of the dresses they carry in stock. I felt like a little doll - the way they help you in and out of the dresses felt so fancy! The only thing was that I was unaware that the session I had booked was only an hour, so I felt rushed towards the end. Overall, a very high-end experience and I would highly recommend!

Visited my first wedding dress store at the Spina Brides highline location yesterday and had the best experience ever. The ladies helping me were so attentive, professional, fun and knew exactly what I wanted. They made me feel comfortable and at ease about this process as it can be stressful during this time. From the moment I walked through the door, me and my sister were welcomed with fuzzy slippers. Isa helped me look through all the dresses at first, gave me some background on all of the designers, assisted me throughout my time there made it easy and have me helpful tips on order to made my decision. Many businesses whether large or small have changed their dynamic on servicing their guests. I must say I was a bit nervous given these tough times my budget was very tight and Spina Bride made me feel like I was marrying the Prince of England. The customer service was very personal and welcoming. The gowns are exquisite and beautiful, again, I was so nervous. I did not want to waste their time. I visited Spina & their Lee Petra Grebenau location on the same today and they were my first experience bridal dress shopping. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was at home. Originally, I did not have an appointment at Lees boutique but Giselle went out of her way to coordinate my appointment so that I could head to Lees boutique after I finished at Spina. As soon as you walk in, you get your own slippers and the ENTIRE PLACE to yourself. They let you look around and pick out the dresses you want yourself. Giselle and Nancy are never pushy and instead you feel like you are gown shopping with your best friends. They also offer endless options and suggestions unlike any other place I ended up going to. I said yes to a custom Lee Petra Grebenau dress. I went back so many times throughout to make sure that my dress would be exactly how I wanted. Giselle & Nancy have grown to become close friends of mine and the entire process has been absolutely perfect and magical. I went to a few dress shops before purchasing my dress to make sure and from the moment I walked into the other stores I knew Spina & Lee were the only places I would ever purchase a gown from. They are so easy to reach, always available and they are 100% there for you to make sure every bride truly has the perfect gown and experience purchasing it. I also worked with them to purchase my Daphne Newman robe. I can not wait to wear my custom robe and gown and I will always be back to visit Giselle & Nancy even after my wedding day comes. I went to Spina without any friends or family to try on an outfit they had in stock. I was worried about going without anyone I knew, but the friendly staff there made me feel like I wasnt alone and gave me amazing advice and company. They were even flexible to let me come back the next week and Giselle basically held a phone to Facetime my mom and take photos for me. When COVID changed our plans, they went above and beyond to help me navigate the situation. They have the most beautiful outfits (I tried on gowns and suits!) and welcoming environment. Spina is a beautiful store with gorgeous and unique wedding dresses. It was my first time ever trying on dresses as I am newly engaged and due to the pandemic, have held off on trying on at stores. I was pretty disappointed in my experience as I didn’t feel the sales associate was warm when my sister and I came to our dress appointment. The sales Associate seemed annoyed and irritated to be there. For example, as I was trying on the dresses she told me to put my hands on my hips and when I did, she said “those aren’t your hips” in a really rude tone. Also, although she couldn’t serve water due to Covid, she didn’t show us there was any available and my sister had to ask if it was possible to have any. These are just two small examples but I didn’t expect my experience to be like this so was a bit disappointed.

I would not go to this store and enter into a contract with them. This company is a disaster. Cost my cousin thousands and put her through hell. Save yourself.

I had an amazing experience at Spina Bride from start to finish. I had a virtual consultation with their wonderfully helpful stylist Melany, and then an appointment with business owner Giselle. The store was absolutely beautiful, and both Melany and Giselle were very helpful. The gown selection is quite diverse, with gowns at different price points, and they are all gorgeous gowns. The Spina Bride team also seems to be taking every precaution possible during COVID times to ensure the safety of their customers and their workers. I would highly recommend this store for future brides.

A wonderful place to find a beautiful wedding gown. The staff were so helpful and knowledge and prepared for my arrival. They already had dresses pulled for me based on my tastes and were open to customizing almost everything. They also took Covid precautions very seriously which kept us feeling super safe and protected the entire time. It is currently by appointment only so we had the entire salon to ourselves which made me feel like a Hollywood starlet while I was searching for the dress.

From the atmosphere to the personal one-to-one styling, and the selection of gowns I truly feel this place is worthwhile. My mother and I were greeted by Melany and Isa, who gave us super comfortable slippers to change into which I thought was such a lovely touch ( We had been walking around the city all day) They offered us water or tea, and led us into a beautiful main room filled with gorgeous gowns. The girls were so knowledgeable and kind, gave us all the information we needed to know on each of the designers they carry, and afterward let us roam the store and pick the gowns we liked. They also suggested gowns that they believed would work for my wedding venue. The dressing room was my absolute favorite, it is a massive room with a huge skylight ! They are consciously Eco-friendly and paperless so I was emailed my favorite picks which is very important to me. I loved the intimate experience overall, we had gone to so many bridal salons that are filled with other guests and it was so nice to have some alone time. I would 100% recommend this boutique to anyone and ask for Melany or Isa !

But even from the moment we walked into the salon, the lady who greeted us was very cold and not welcoming at all. She asked few questions about my preferences. She did not even ask about my venue, a common question most stylists would take into consideration when they pick out wedding dresses for the clients. She asked my price range and I told her my budget is on the modest end ($3500). My guess was that most dresses there were more expensive than the budget I told her so she was very, very, very impatient. She did not give much guidance or recommendation when we were browsing. Rather, she hastily picked out a few dresses for me. And while I was trying on the dresses, she did not care much whether I like a dress or not. She was definitely rushing me to switch to the next dress. I would only have the dress on for like 2 minutes and she would ask me to change to the next one. There was one dress she did not even bother to clip the back. She simply ask me whether I like it or not and whether its worth clipping the back for me. How would I know whether I like the dress or not when the dress sits loosely on my body? In the end, there was a dress I really, really love and I asked her the price. Instead of answering me directly, she was like Ill email you the price and information. And when she did email me, the email begins with it was great to meet you and your sister today. I did NOT go with my sister. I went with my best friend. Simply because we are both Asians, she just assumed we were related. (Also because she did not even bother to ask who my friend was.) And guess how long our appointment was? It was less than 25 min in total. I booked the appointment for the entire hour! I am still so shocked that I was treated in such an unprofessional fashion simply because I gave a relatively modest budget. The dress I picked out was so pretty and I would very likely buy the dress if the staff had not been so rude to me and my friend.

WOW what an amazing experience.During my appointment here I was met by two stylist Nancy and Melany. They greeted my parents and I with the biggest smiles on their faces, super friendly and got us out of the cold quickly. They gave us the cutest cozy white slippers to change into as they told us about the store and the beautiful gowns inside. I should mention they host only private appointments so the entire store was completely ours. Talk about VIP treatment!!!I had no clue what I wanted to look like on my wedding day but both stylists were very patient with me and pulled many different styles to find the perfect match for my body. Once we got the style down pack it was like a sign from the heavens above. Everything clicked and there it was.... MY dream dress!!!!!!

This was hands down my best appointment and Bridal experience! I went to three other stores/appointments prior to getting to Spina. Nancy and Isa provided me such a personal, tailored experience. They are incredibly knowledgable, knew how to dress my body and were so helpful with physically dressing me with correct lining/garments. I went to 10 bridal shops while looking for my wedding dress and this was one of the least enjoyable experiences I had. My mother-in-law and I went together and both agreed—we felt completely unwelcome here. The customer service was paltry, cold, and snobbish. I went to tons of other bridal shops that were warm and welcoming and excited for us. In addition, I wear a size 4 in regular clothing and their sample sizes were INSANELY small (maybe a 0). They had to use extenders and hooks to fit the dresses to me, and they still barely fit, making me feel ENORMOUS. Whereas at literally every other store I went to, they either carried my size or had dresses larger than my size that they could clip down so I could envision the fit perfectly. When I told other bridal stylists about my experience here they were shocked. We left with a horrible taste in our mouth. Would not recommend.

Out of all the bridal stores I visited this was definitely the most special experience! My consultant went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and beautiful and all of the dresses are truly one of a kind. Highly recommend!

My experience at Spina Bridal was uncomfortable, awkward, and kind of insulting. Normally, Id just let it go, however, I would hate for another woman to go through a similar experience and end up feeling totally demoralized.I booked an appointment at Spina because I was absolutely in love with a designer that they carry so I traveled to NYC from Pittsburgh to try it on/buy it. Prior to even booking my appointment at Spina Bridal I emailed the owners with a few questions. I am a (normal) sized 12 woman. I reached out regarding what sizes they carried in this designer and if it was in my budget ($3500-$5000.) After being told that they have one sample size each I asked for a second time what my experience would be like if I came to try the dress even though they only carry one *small* size. I was reassured that their staff was confident in helping all shapes and bodies by using clips, bands, etc. She also told me that my budget was perfectly within range for what I was looking for. After being reassured I decided to book my appointment and my trip to New York.When we arrived to our appointment we were told to remove our shoes, take our temperature, and leave our things at the door. I respect that these were precautions due to COVID. The girl then asked me what my budget was and I told her somewhere around $4000. She showed me one rack of maybe 4 basic slip-dresses and told me everything else would be out of my price-range but I could still look around. She also pointed out some dresses that could be purchased from other brides that left them behind but only after saying to me, but...these dresses were made for smaller bodies. (oof!) I selected a few dresses then went to the back room to undress.What happened next was pretty crazy. She told me to get undressed and stand up on the pedestal. At that point, she put on rubber gloves because she had to touch my skin and started holding dresses up to me without letting me truly try one thing on. At one point she said I could put my arms through the sleeves but only if I TOOK OFF MY ENGAGEMENT RING because I would rip it. There was no reason for me to stand naked in that room when I was never going to be allowed to try anything on in the first place. Not once did she offer any sympathy or reasoning for something that is entirely inappropriate in 2021. The average female is a sized 14 (look it up.) Ultimately, we were there for under 15 minutes.I wonder if my budget was higher I might have gotten better treatment. What bothers me most is that I asked ahead of time what their sizing was like. I wish that the owner or whomever I emailed was more honest with me about their capabilities and price points. Its shocking that women/businesses are still treating other women like this and I hope this review helps normal, beautiful women avoid an experience like this one.EDIT: Your response is beyond insulting. I was -never- looking for something off-rack, I was -never- set on one gown, my budget was entirely the same as the communications that we discussed.The issue is that I was NOT ALLOWED TO TRY A DRESS ON BECAUSE OF MY SIZE. Thats absolutely not ok. How can you say that youve fit brides of all sizes when I never once was able to put a dress over my head. Ive been to three other boutiques, treated like an absolute queen, and my size has never been an issue.You can try to turn things around to defend yourself but ultimately its either your staffing or your policies that need to be corrected.

As MOH I was responsible for organizing the dress appointments for my best friend getting married. I booked a number of smaller bridal boutiques, but Giselle and Melany at Spina stole the show. It was a relaxing and intimate experience with a lot of bespoke unique gorgeous designers, each with an amazing story and most exclusively available through Spina.The team was diligent in answering our questions and working with us to stay within expected price/aesthetic. I highly recommend to any prospective bride, dont pass this place up.

Really, there arent enough stars for them. This is where you need to buy your gown and accessories. After trying 30+ gowns at all the big name designer salons and multi-designer stores, I was coming up with plenty of pretty dresses but not the dress. At Spina, everything I tried on was beautiful, luxurious, and above all, felt unique. (Not a single boring cookie cutter gown here.) I was also impressed by how personal the entire process felt—you get the entire salon to yourself and feel like the women helping you (Giselle and Isa) give you honest, sound advice. Here, they dont just care about a sale—they go above and beyond to make happy brides. Due to current circumstances with the virus, the Spina team and my gowns designer (Santos Costura) actually delivered my gown A MONTH EARLY to make sure I would get it on time. The Spina team is kind, beyond professional, and they have the best selection. You cant go wrong!

The selection is beautiful and the experience was the best I had in NYC. Highly recommend Spina!This negative review is actually for the Daphne Newman slips and robes the store carries. I purchased both for my wedding in February. I rarely write reviews, but the price is not worth the quality, and I want to save others from my disappointment. I wore the slip while I had my hair and makeup done before my wedding (~2 hours, almost entirely sitting still) and once on my honeymoon while I did my makeup. The strap broke with less than 4 hours of wear, and when I reached out to the company they were very slow to respond and refused to assist or take responsibility. The items are so beautiful, but the quality and construction for the cost of the products is absolutely not worth it. Makes me really sad, and just want to save others from the same experience.

Hands down my favorite moment in life. The dress selection is so beautiful and truly unique. I went to 8 different boutiques before I arrived to Spina and was taken back by the variety of gowns available. Nancy was so kind, patient, and friendly during my shopping sesh.I traveled from California to find my gown and felt right at home in Spina. Spina Bride is absolutely amazing! Wonderful boutique, incredibly helpful staff, beautiful space, and the dresses are gorgeous! I went to so many wedding dress shops before coming here- nothing compared to my experience at Spina. Giselle is a doll, and provides the best customer service! She took her time, helped me figure out what looked best and fit my personality and never pushed to complete a sale. She also helped my vision shine in a group appointment with my mother, MIL, two aunts and sister in-law. Going there was like spending time with an old friend. Everyone there is so inviting and helpful. My experience at Spina has been, by far, the best throughout all of my planning for anything for my wedding. She even personally delivered my wedding dress to my apartment on the Upper East Side! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Spina. I referred Spina to another friend who was looking, and she had the same wonderful experience that I did. This bridal shop has a great selection of beautiful dresses from international designers and a stressless and enjoyable one-on-one appointment experience. I enjoyed the shop’s casual atmosphere and the ability to look through the dress racks myself. Highly recommended!

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Giselle, one of the gracious owners. My entire experience was wonderful. The dresses are unique and Giselle even convinced me to try on a few dresses that looked magical when I tried them on, though initially nothing fancy on the hanger.I loved my experience and will certainly be back to plan special details Giselle suggested and purchase my wedding gown when Ive confirmed a wedding venue!Thank you again!! I visited Spina a few weeks back and had a wonderful experience. Giselle made my mom, sister and I feel right at home. The space itself is very chic and filled with a curated selection of stunning gowns from international designers. Giselle was so kind and went above and beyond to make us feel special and have the day be memorable, such as hotel slippers and jasmine tea. Spina has huge windows facing the street and having so much natural light was immensely helpful as I tried on dresses. Giselle was helpful before, during and after the appointment and I would absolutely encourage anyone dress shopping in NYC to get there.

Giselle is an absolute dream to work with and makes Spina Bride an amazing experience for brides on their dress hunt. My friend and I walked in and she offered us slippers and cool drinks right away. We were so surprised to find that we were the only ones in the salon but she explained that was how things were done at Spina. We chatted casually about what I was looking for and she explained each of the lines that they carried. They do have a smaller selection but the designs are so unique while being timeless that Spina is worth checking out. They carry some European designers that arent quite well known yet so you can get a wonderfully crafted dress for under $3000. Sadly, they did not have a dress that I had seen on Divine Ateliers site. I tried on some similar things and even some styles that I hadnt even entertained. Giselle was so sweet the whole time- a great listener and a discerning eye for what looked good and what didnt. I didnt end up getting a dress but she really helped me focus my vision. I would definitely recommend Spina to any of my friends who get married in the future!

Horrible experience, appallingly low customer service for ANY store, let alone one selling gowns for $10k. When asked what they do with customers who don’t wear a size 0/2 (all of the samples are small), the associate said, ‘we just hold the dress in front of them.’ I can’t believe in this day and age a shop would be so wildly exclusive and anti body positivity. My friend and I were truly appalled and would not spend a dime here.

I loved my experience at Spina Bride. The boutique offers such a warm and personal experience, with a great curation of brands that you dont find at too many places. Giselle was so sweet and enjoyable to work with. What is great about this place apart from the top notch customer service and ambience is the ability to customize your dress (depending on the designer and what the ask is).
