I had a fantastic experience at Jenny Yoo! Alexandra assisted me during my bridal appointment and she was attentive, very sweet, and offered wonderful suggestions. I found the perfect dress and the quality is absolutely great. (My local seamstress has commented multiple times during my alterations appointments on the dress being very well constructed.) I also had my bridesmaids order their dresses from JYC. The fabric is very high quality and there are many silhouettes to choose from. Whether youre purchasing in one of the shops or online, youre bound to have a great experience.
Great experience with Jenny Yoo! I tried on so many dresses at various shops across the city and finally selected the Tensley. The customer service was excellent (very responsive, worked with my timeline which was on the short side) and the dress is just lovely. It came in right on time (even a few days early) which was perfect.
I had a wonderful experience at Jenny Yoo! First I went with my future daughter-in-law and she found her dress! Her stylist was super friendly and helpful I think it was Amanda? Then I went back for myself! What a lovely time I had with Liv and Kayleigh! They helped me find a beautiful Mother of the Groom dress! They were both so lovely, professional and knowledgeable. My friends and I enjoyed our experience so much that my friend will be bringing her daughter to Jenny Yoo also! The styles of the gowns are simple, elegant and just, well, so pretty. Also, I would bet that Jenny Yoo makes sure her stylists all have warm and welcoming personalities to make sure brides, maids and mothers have a great experience!!
Really nice experience at Jenny Yoo in NYC. Amanda was my stylist, and she really listened to my asks. She was open and honest and really paid attention. I also love that their production time isnt like 11 months (its only about 4!).
Finding a wedding dress during Covid wasnt easy, but I found my dream dress at Jenny Yoos NYC salon. I went a total of 2 times before I said yes to my dress and both Emma and Kayleigh were friendly and helpful. The salon is beautiful!
Wish i read the reviews. they had me size up and the dress is massive and doesnt fit properly anywhere. waste of time and money.
Such a wonderful experience! My consultant was Lydia who was so lovely ❤️❤️ the salon was calm and relaxed. Even though there were COVID restrictions (understandable) Lydia made me feel so at ease and comfortable! I found my dress and I could not be happier.
I had such an amazing experience here! My consultant, Kayleigh, was incredible and helped me find my dream dress! The salon is absolutely gorgeous and I felt very safe during these Covid times. Jenny Yoos dresses are incredible and affordable. I am so grateful!
The couple of dresses I tried on made me feel so hideous I end up crying every time I’m there. It is my fault for listening to their recommendations to size up instead of getting my normal size everywhere else, and now I’m stuck with a dress that I think is too big and they think just “needs to be taken in a little all over”. So now I get to pay more money to take in an oversized dress that makes me feel dumpy and gross. Fantastic. Amazingly, they actually recommended I order a size LARGER than this (they said I “might be able to squeeze into it”) which I ignored because it’s not a size I ever wear. Instead I ordered the largest size of my normal range. Fits great with a pillow stuffed inside!
I had such a great experience at the store with Lydia. I felt like the entire process was fun and easy. I usually do not enjoy bridesmaid dress shopping but this was an enjoyable experience!
My experience at Jenny Yoo was disappointing. Not because of Lydia, but because of the dress availability in the showroom. We are in a time that women of all shapes and sizes should feel included and be respected in the size they are. There was no inclusivity with large dress sizes. They had four dresses in sizes 16 and above. Every dress that I wanted to try on was 0-4 size. Lydia was terrific by trying to find more dresses for my body type but was unsuccessful. You were able to see her disappointed that she couldn’t help me. I was so excited since I got my bridesmaids dresses from here, but it was an epic fail. I will NOT be going back, and I will NOT recommend Jenny Yoo bridal. It failed miserably to include women of all sizes. Wake up, Jenny Yoo; women aren’t only a size 4! Women come in all different sizes, including sizes 16,18,20! Any and all sizes should be welcomed. You made me feel unwanted and unworthy as a bride. And it shouldn’t be my fault because I am bigger in size. Your showroom should be able to accommodate any body shape and size. Especially a showroom in the center of New York City. A terrible first experience, but an eye-opening one.
On their instagram, they stated we would get first dibs on a sample sale if we signed up for their newsletter. The information never came for the sale, and after some time I checked their website and the sale had been going on for hours and I missed out on getting the dress I wanted. This was super disappointing. I get technically difficulties happen, but I was so sad that I missed out on getting my dress at an affordable price because of this. Giving them 3 stars though, because my sister bought their bridesmaid dresses here, and they love them an they look great.
I ordered a bridesmaids gown from this shop to be shipped to me. My experience with the employees was great and the gown is gorgeous. However, be careful with sizing. I followed the size chart and even called with my measurements to be sure I was ordering the correct size, but when the dress arrived it was too small on my bust. These gowns are NOT designed for women with large chests. If you are DD+, consider ordering a size larger than they recommend if you are not able to try anything on in store because youll probably need the rest taken in anyways. Luckily I found an awesome tailor to make the gown fit me.
Emma, Alex and team are amazing. I found both my wedding and bridesmaids dresses here. They are beyond helpful, kind and the dresses are amazing.My bridal party enjoyed the try on and styles. It was very easy for them to input and start their order once we settled on a dress, even for those bridesmaids who weren’t there/had to do online which made my life much easier!!! I cannot rave enough about this simplicity of this process.I cannot say enough good things about my dress and try on experience. Felt like an absolute princess and the dress is amazing.Very very happy!!!!

When the dress arrived it was much too big (to my surprise). Although thrilled, I was also panicked! Sarah, worked tirelessly to help find a solution.The bride was married this past weekend and I proudly wore my Jenny Yoo, Mira dress accessorized with my new found confidence!I wanted to send a big thank you along with my gratitude! Ordered four flower girl dresses from Jenny Yoo, the “Penny” ($185), in the beginning of March. Due to the color option chosen, the dresses were considered “custom” which takes 12-16 weeks. Nonetheless, I received the dresses exactly 12 weeks later. The dresses at a value of $785 with shipping were marked delivered at front door on June 1st. My wedding is August 4, in about 8 weeks. When i arrived home the shipped dresses said “Find Me”...there were no dresses in sight. I immediately called the sender “FedEx” to express my concern and decided to wait the next day to call Jenny Yoo NY location.The next morning, I called the NY location and expressed my concern. I also mentioned I was stressed from this event and that my wedding is in 8 weeks, however the dresses took 12 weeks. The lady on the other end of the phone was very dismissive and made me feel very unimportant. I asked why a shipment so large and expensive would not have a return signature request. She rudely said, “once it leaves our store we have nothing to do with it and our policy state the customer has to pay $6 for signature request”. I stated, “as the person who took my order in March was very accepting of my card number would have extended the $6 in addition to the $785 that would not have been an issue, but it was not offered”.I have very stressed and disappointed in this store professionalism with their paying customers. If I could give 0 stars I would, because it is very disheartening that a customer money can be taken but there is no concern “once it leaves their store”.UPDATE:Spoke to Kaylee on yesterday & after speaking with her team they were able to work something out just in time for my wedding.Thank you Kaylee for making me feel like my day is important to you 😊 the best feeling to calm this stressed bride
The gowns here are completely disgusting. I had a list of about 10 to try on, and there are few times in my life I have wanted a shower so badly after leaving. I tried them on quickly because I couldnt wait to get out of each one. They all seemed stretched out, and oversized in weird places. I actually found a gown I really liked, but the assistant barely put a clip in it so I could see it in my size. She was also completely unhelpful, no recommendations of veils, belts, etc. We had to ask for them. I was so looking forward to coming here, but only left disappointed. If youre looking for a Jenny Yoo gown, you might have better luck at one of their retail partners. I just know I definitely would not go back here, and would never recommend it to anyone I know.
I love this place! The staff was extremely helpful in assisting me with different gowns. Even though it is a small place, I found exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price.Nella, the owners daughter was very helpful and Jenny Yoo Collection was one of the nicest ladies I have met in this business.I would totally recommend them to anyone.
Fantastic service from Chelsea. Far and above any sales experience I have ever had, and Ive worked in retail for over 20 years. The studio is comfortable and not intimidating, well lit but not harshly bright (which would be really unflattering). Their dresses are beyond beautiful, cut perfectly, and the fact that they have a range of sizes that will make any bride or bridesmaid feel like an absolute princess is just a bonus. If you can, shop early on a weekday. Chelsea told us they get a little crazy on Saturdays, but we were there on Friday morning, first appt of the day. It was quiet, we were the only customers until about 11am. But even after more customers entered, we still had Chelseas full attention. I cannot day enough about Jenny Yoo studio and our experience there. If youre looking for a wedding dress or bridesmaid dresses in the garment district, they are absolutely worth scheduling an appt. You WILL leave happy.
Dresses from Jenny Yoo are beautiful and the quality is amazing! I love the bridesmaids dress options and the color palettes they are available in! I had to custom order all my bridesmaids dresses to get the color I wanted and the JY team was incredible to work with. They were very quick to respond to any questions I had. I was worried about timing but they were very efficient with helping me get it done so I will have them in time. So happy with my experience with the JY team! I hope someday I have another reason to buy from here!

Both times I had to walk in here I was completely ignored. Apparently I’m not good enough for Jenny Yoo employees. The dresses are ok but insanely over priced. And when you tailor them don’t expect to spend under $100 because all of the layers.
