Loved it! Gloriously open to the public even while the hotel itself is not (ask the doorman). Rich colors, a velvet sofa, and a life-size sheep :) The whole small shop is a balcony, where all those fancy hotel noises come glittering and clinking up.

Very friendly environment and learned a lot from employees there, able to browsed a few books that I were interested before discovering they have flagship store, excited!

What a joy to find such a variety of books, but even old (and some new) mags, sheet music and other odds and ends. Very nice sales lady - just let me wander until I found some books to walk away with (could have filled a bag). Worth taking some time to go in.

Ive always had a great experience here. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. The space itself is great. Enough room to maneuver around shelves and browse and have space to breathe. A couple comfy couches in the back.

Beautiful bookstore conveniently located inside the Plaza Hotel with incredible authentic finds. Great place for gifts for everyone on your list, even those with alternative tastes. The space is small but incredibly special. No other bookstore like it in NYC. Their staff is so sweet. Vanessa answered many questions and gave us great gift suggestions. You must stop by this gem if youre in the neighborhood. It is the perfect place for Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and Christmas shopping. I cannot wait to go back.

Not very quiet but great aesthetic

My hat off to the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics. They have made this bookstore a real gem. The rich and stupid go to Harvard, the poor and smart to Brattle. Johnny Depp is a misnomer.
