This place is amazing! You HAVE to try their cheese ramen 🍜 (yes - cheese πŸ§€ ramen) which has such a unique flavor profile. Milk & Hops Ramen Bar offers a wide variety of beers and delicious appetizers. The staff is super friendly and the service is impeccable! I wish more places would serve cheese ramen!

If you love craft beer this is a must-visit location in this area. Theyve got a lot of solid local favorites and some more exotic stuff and tasty food to have alongside your pints. Beer miso ramen was creamy and loaded with umami flavor. Try it with a DIPA or NEIPA 😁

The ramen is sub par, not a lot of flavors, and the egg isnt slightly runny, but more rubbery. The concept is great though. If they improve the ramen execution, this will be a 5 stars place.

Picked up some to-go beers...excellent selection. No employee was present when I walked in the door so I perused the coolers myself and picked a couple out. Had to stand around for an employee to check me out. I was chastised for getting the beer out of the cooler without an employee. Well, there wasnt an employee around to tell me that. Good selection. Poor attitude, but hey its New York, right?

Beer, cheese, charcuterie, and ramen. Whats not to like?! Theres no shortage of fantastic ramen shops in NYC, but Milk and Hops manages to stand out with some unique takes that incorporate their savvy with cheese and charcuterie. The inclusion of chorizo in my spicy miso ramen was wonderful. If youre more of a ramen purist (whatever that may mean) this place might not be for you. But if youre open to a few new ideas and you like beer. Definitely check this place out.

Having rolled through the cheesy gyoza appetizer, Milk and Hops ramen bowl, at couple brews and the rainbow cookie crumb cake, I feel like Im pretty well qualified to say that this place is pretty damn amazing.Aside from the delicious food, the staff have been both friendly and attentive without being overbearing or aloof, which is commendable. The restaurant itself is clean and presentable, and the music matches the overall vibe. Really happy to have stumbled in here.Looking forward to stopping in tomorrow for some breakfast bombs 😊

Nice and cozy place, they have about 10 beers on tap, they do growlers(1/2 gallon), as well as retail space thats sells beer but with $2 bottle service if you drink there. The have small menu, but it looks good. My wife and I had beir cheese with a pretzel. Their Beir cheese is not as saucy as other beir cheese I have had before or as spicy. It has a kind of Parmagian flavor to it with the texture of cream cheese, together with the browns mustard and pretzel, was quite good. I would HIGHLY recommend groups no bigger than 4 as the place is quite cozy.

Fast service and friendly staff. It was fairly easy to get a table on a Friday night and it cost us about $40 for two meals and an appetizer. They have a great selection of beers, and you can buy funky ingredients at the little store located at the entrance of the restaurant. I highly recommend the spicy ramen miso soup πŸ‘

It wasnt great, but it was decent for the price. I might just have high standards though, because I have had some really exceptional ramen before (Ippudo NY and Ramen Zundo Ya)The pork was very nice though, it was tender. My friends and I have lunch at milk and hope on a regular basis. It’s usually pretty good which Is why we go back. Today’s visit left us disappointed when the Spicy Ramen we all ordered came out with over cooked noodles and very starchy broth. We asked the waitress and she replied that their hot plate wasn’t heating well. But if that’s the case give us a heads up or something. I don’t think ill be going back for a while.

This place is relaxing and not too crowded. The ramen is boring here, not recommended. The broth is tasteless. It should be rich in flavor, not in oil. Not to mention that there is mostly just noodle. One piece of meat and one fish cake. I think it is mot worth the price.

We had a great time at milk and hops ramen bar. Milk and hops is known for their great grilled cheese sandwiches, pretzel and of course their beer, but the ramen here is next level. This spot has a great vibe. The staff was very friendly and willing to strike up a conversation and help out with beer selection. There is plenty of bar space, a few high tops, and a lot of nice window nooks with seating. There is also a great selection of snacks, cheese, and meats in the back.

With a concise, well-chosen beer list heavily slanted toward local breweries, this Milk and Hops benefits both the dedicated and casual beer drinker. Prices are reasonable, and smaller pours are available. The taps tend to span the full breadth of beer styles. Theres a small selection of hot and cold food options, but naturally the ramen is the focus there, with several options ready to be served rather quickly by the helpful staff. Many tables complement the dozen or so seats at the bar, and bottles and cans are available for takeaway or to drink on premise for a minimal corkage. In these cold months Id appreciate a place to put my coat, but thats a minor quibble for a lovely space.

Hard to beat the experience at any Milk & Hops locations. Wether it’s picking out your own beer from the cooler or selecting one of their many rotating drafts, you are always guaranteed to drink something you’ll love. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This location specifically serves some truly delicious ramen (try the cheesy truffle) and tasty small plates. Pork belly β€œbuns” on pretzel rolls are the perfect pairing for one of the tasty drafts.

One of my favorite local micro-chains, I was ecstatic when they open a location right by my work. Good beer, great sandwiches, spectacular cheese. My one food complaint is that their mac and cheese at the Astoria locations is actual ambrosia and better than the still good mac and cheese as this location and I wish theyd use that recipe everywhere. Also should note that this is a pleasant quiet beer spot for NYC and a great place to casually chill with friends.

They have a very open environment (both in room design and atmosphere), and approachable staff. When I sit at the bar, the guy (who I think is the manager, but Im too shy to ask) always checks in to see if the meal is going well. They have some interesting ramens that wont dissappoint, so dont be afraid to try them all out. They also have a large IPA selection and regular tasting events going on. When I attend one, ill update this review.
