This is a great place for beer lovers to get their fix. For the size of this hole in the wall beer cave, it has a splendid collection of brews for NY prices. You can buy by the can or bottle do you dont have to get a six pack especially if you are into trying new beers.

I guess I should expect as much from Manhattan, but paying $28 for a four pack of craft beer that is not barrel aged or a specialty beer is ridiculous. I’d much rather just go out to a bar than spend my money here. The only reason why I gave this place two stars is because I read in other customer reviews that you can buy cans individually in order to try a variety of beers and not commit to one; something I wish I would have know ahead of time. Then again I wish I would’ve known a lot of things ahead of time like the prices they charge and probably would not have made a trip in the first place 🤣

Go get you some beers. Dont be surprised if you walk out with more than you were looking for and of a selection of beers youve not tried yet.

Helpful staff and some pretty rare options

A nice little shop with a pretty good selection of both local and other beers. Friendly and helpful staff. I know there are cheaper options but Im fine with paying more to get local cold beer no more than 1-2 weeks old.

Urban Barley has a literal wall-to-wall selection of beers from local breweries, regional micros, and international farm and monastery breweries. Be sure to ask staff for help, they are knowledgable and will point you to the latest locals brews.
