I went to Manhattan Beauty to get a wig for a show I was doing. Mimi helped me find the PERFECT one. She knows the inventory like the back of her hand. She was i credibly helpful and fun. It was the third place I went. The other two had employees that didnt really know anything about wigs, which is not good since I dont know anything about wigs.So go to Manhattan Beauty and ask for Mimi!!! Shes the best!!!

Only provided a very comforting moisture barrier. I do not use this every day only when I feel I need it. It does not have a fragrance but smells so amazing and comforting, not sure what ingredient it is. This is just lovely and never ever makes me feel oily. Good quality products!

I was shocked at the beauty items they had. They had a wide range of beauty items to choose from. I like the Korean goods theyre offering. The workers were as open and kind as they were. You guys have been the best. Im going to visit your store again.

I was visiting out of state and needed a touch-up, they got me on the same day and the service and people were very nice. If you need a hair salon that cares about your hair, this is the place for you. It was an excellent service! Highly recommended to everyone!

The products I bought here was of good quality. It was not harmful to all types of skin specially to girls who love wearing makeup. The cream foundation and lipstick I bought was at a very affordable rate. You may visit the place to to shop more.

Im glad this place has a big selection, but two issues: 1) theyre a bit pricier whereas the beauty supply store that I frequent in K-town sells the very same products for $1-$2 cheaper, and 2) the customer service is...not good. The staff watches over you instead of saying hello or asking if you need help, not once did they even acknowledge me being there, thats not only uncomfortable but just rude and makes me feel like, why should I shop here again if they make their customers feel unwanted or as if youre being a thief for just shopping there? They really need to work on that, I get that maybe they cant help with lowering their prices but the least they can do is be nicer to their customers.

Rude customer service. I called with an issue and the man hung up on me while I was talking. Also put an item on hold and got to the location and although they were open for officially another 5mins they refused to let me pay for the ONE item that I called to put on hold. Reiterating that I wasn’t shopping just there to pick up an item and I was not allowed to. And it wasn’t empty; they had at least 4 customers inside waiting to pay. Ridiculous.

I purchased some curly textured Peruvian brand hair. It was absolutely awful, big clumps shredded. The hair dreaded almost immediately extremely poor quality especially for the price of over $60.00 a pack. THIS HAIR WAS NOT EVEN WORTH $5.00 a pack its total trash and should not be sold.

They just don’t care about the quality of their products. This magnetic eye lashes didn’t work as it should be, it fells from my eyes, I tried to keep but it doesn’t keep in my eyes.I couldn’t use even once, because is embarrassing use a eye lashes that fells from your eyes lol.I tried to return it right the way and the store didn’t want to take it back. I spend $15 dollars in a horrible product that didn’t work and the owner doesn’t care about it.

This store is a nice walk from and to my apartment, once I am there Macys is a block away. To nice places to spend my day off or weekend. I can find most of the products I enjoy using and some unexpected.

This place has everything. Best beauty store in Manhattan. Near 35th and 8th avenue. They have bleach powder and blonde toners. Excellent selection and theyve stayed open during a difficult year when other places like Rickys closed. Support this place .

Neat and packed shop with tons of product variety. Any products I could not find elsewhere I got them there. Prices are pennies and cents more than wholesale shops on Broadway but the customer service is better there. Will always go back there.

Prices were fair.. Service itself wasn’t bad but when I opened the hair I bought it seemed it was already opened by someone else. The hair was cut out of its rubber band holder and looked like it was folded back into the package.. can’t return it for obvious reasons (I bought it on Monday and won’t be able to go back til Thursday) so it’s hard to prove it wasn’t me who did it. Probably won’t go back again which is too bad because the time was a plus. Usually the beauty supply stores in my area are closed by the time I get off work.

Reasonably priced items. Not many beauty stores near me so super convenient.

Friendly and helpful clerks. Clean clutter-free isles. I would certainly recommend this store to friends and family. As for the prices I think its pretty reasonable even for those on a budget.

I can always find what I need. Staff isnt proactive, but will help when asked. Store is too crowded. Lands are very narrow and theres stuff from floor to ceiling. Social distancing is not feasible if they have more than 10 shoppers.

I live in the Bronx, but when I found this beauty supply store it just kind of works for my needs. I still buy hair products in the Bronx, because that is easier for me to access. I shaved my hair off last year in October.I decided that I would start wearing wigs, I went to my local beauty supply stores. But I could not find any wigs that made me happy with its quality. I dont wear wigs, but when, I spend my money on something it need to be something of great quality.That I know I will love to wear and use. I like Manhattan Beauty a lot but I never paided any attention to their wigs . Until I needed one, I was very stocked when, I saw and felt the quality of this beauty supply store wigs. Because they located are in Manhattan.I thought that they would have excellent quality wigs. They dont if you are someone that loves great quality wigs or someone that wears wigs to protect your natural hair. Then Manhattan Beauty is not the best store to find excellent quality wigs. Hair products yes but not wigs.

This beauty emporium is amazing: all of the best high-end beauty brands under one roof plus a few I’d never heard of. I discovered the pricey but so totally worth it Goe Oil that’s made of plant, fruit, flower oils and butters. Can’t wait to find more products from this line.

Well organized! Aisles are rather tight in the back where the braiding hair stocked, but other than that I had a pleasant experience.

This location is pretty affordable for manhattan. I bought 7 packs of Marley hair for $5 each!! I couldn’t believe it. The people who work there are also really nice and helpful. They’ve always been kind to me when I went. It’s conveniently located near the E train. It is a bit cramped but that’s because they’ve fit so much product into one location. I appreciate that.

A coworker told me about this beauty supply store that had a lot of products for natural hair for African Americans. I was surprised how big the store was for the location. Prices seemed reasonable but not a lot cheaper than other stores for products Ive bought in the past. It was a bit crowded after work so I didnt get to take my time and linger longer but did purchase what I came to buy. Ill definitely return.

Spent st least $300 a month there then today bought jewelry for Christmas gifts spending more than $150 and they didn’t want to give me 4 little boxes for the gifts. So I left the unpaid merchandise on the counter and walked out never to return. Cheap cheap foolishly cheap.

The woman at the shop accused me of stealing and was adamant about searching bag. It was very traumatic and stressful. I am still affected by it. I cried like a child because I couldnt believe it was happening TO ME.She claimed I had a bottle in my bag that looks like a bottle in the store. She took the phone to make a call because I declined to show her my bag. I think she was about to call the police.In the end I showed her my bottle and she was of course, she was WRONG. They have good products but one have to be careful how they navigate the store. A couple of the women behaves as if THEY are doing customers a favour

I absolutely love this place!!! I use Talia Waajid products and 5 years back I was looking for a place in the city to buy her products. Their store came up, so I tried them. No less than awesome stock, great employees, and quick service. When I began skincare with Aveda in 2011, I used Beauty 35 for all of my supplies. On any given visit, I have spent hours looking over products and ingredients without the staff breathing down my neck and spent all of 2-4 minutes in line, if there was one, to check out. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!! The hours are great with my crazy schedule. Love it!-Lee

They have a really good selection of products and the store is clean and well organized but their staff were unhelpful. My friend was looking for a wig and they have a policy thatYou have to pay $0.50 for a wig cap and you can only try on a maximum of 5 wigs.

The worst customer service I ever received the guy at the door was rude. I try to explain that to another lady when I ask her for help and she say customers are rude also. She lucky my wife need it this stuff. I will never go to this store.
