I cannot believe they are forcing staff to work without AC. Walking as a customer was brutal. I understand the hurricane may have caused damage but this is ridiculous. The staff look miserable as it’s hotter inside than outside today.

If I could give this place zero stars I would!!!Jennifer had a terrible attitude!!!! I I told her in the nicest way possible that she should work on her attitude and she literally told me that I should work on my own. I knew from the way she was helping the previous customer before me that her attitude stinks. She was texting on her phone at the register and had a look of “I hate my job and I don’t want to be here.” I understand about being shorthand and needing help but that still doesn’t negate the fact, that you at least have to have a positive attitude with your customer. I’m definitely not returning to this store.

The cashiers need customer service training. They need to know that they are at work which requires a different demeanor and professionalism. Their inner thoughts are inappropriate and cant be expressed in that setting maybe at home, but not at work. Serious training is needed from upper management.

Line was extremely long due to only having 1 register open. When the supervisor did open another register it was not orchestrated in a timely and safe fashion. Social distancing was not enforced at all.

Dollar Tree is my favorite place to shop.

Every employee in this dollar tree is always very kind to me, and all the merchandise is neatly organized and easy to access. This is the best dollar tree in mid city in my opinion

Dollar Tree Canal location is located in a hidden area (hidden areas make shopping more organized), but unfortunately, it is clear they are extremely short-staffed. The store was in desperate need of stocking in some aisles.The staff was still courteous and patient throughout their long lines.Ill still return at some point.

Jennifer the new manager is the rudest woman I have ever encountered. Infront of a crowd of people she berated me to a level I never in my 59 years have ever encountered. I will be taking this to a higher level in where I think this was race related. I will never return

Im a decades long fan of Dollar Tree in general, but I will never again set foot in the one in Mid-city of New Orleans. The place was a mess, and the staff was sullenly apathetic at best.

Shelves were terribly. Need merchandise in store. Employees standing around chit chating.

I visited the store yesterday 06/28/20 around 3:30pm to purchase a sympathy greeting card. When I entered the store I struggled with locating the aisle that had the cards. This was my first time shopping here. I asked a cashier (young, white woman, very loud) for help.She was very rude and dismissive so I asked the other cashier for help. She was more happy to help me than her colleague, and actually gave me clear instructions as to where they were in the store. To add insult to injury, the first cashier that had dismissed me decided to talked smack about me after I walked away because I expressed to her coworker that I had never been in the store before and I couldnt understand why she would think it was ok to talk to me like that. I just purchased what I came for and left. I dont have time to argue with people who have no education and make minimum wage. But if she isnt willing to work with the general public when met with a typical question that one would ask an employee then she needs to find another job. So basically only shop here if you like a clean store with a ghetto white trash employee who gives you sass for absolutely no reason at all. I wont be back. I just so happened to be passing through.

Cleanest, most organized Dollar Tree I have been in out of 4 others.

I always get stressed out here because nothing has a price tag on it and Im like THIS? This cant possibly only be one dollar! Then I stand in the checkout line for fifteen minutes and make peace with the hidden costs of Dollar Tree.

FYI-they close at 9pm, not 10pm as advertised. Also, good luck finding a shopping cart 🙄

Was fairly busy, lacked available shopping 🛒, store was well stocked, one checkout line, and people waiting for entry in line outside.

Its a basic Dollar Tree. I do like this one more than my local Dollar Tree because they have a larger freezer section that includes veggies and some meats. Only giving it three stars because the last couple of trips Ive gone and the store was empty. I highly recommend going earlier in the day because it gets busy in the evenings and they usual only have one or two registers open.

Dirty inside and out. Should be removed from the neighborhood. Doesn’t belong. Just a huge eyesore of trash tumbleweed.

Always fully stocked, clean, and friendly. Lots of parking available, and never boxes in the aisles. You can always find what you want that they sell here. They are never out of stuff.

This is a great little store. I went in looking for plastic tablecloths and not only found them but found a variety of different patterns. As usual, I also found quite a few more things. You really cant go wrong at Dollar Tree.

Its dirty and the restrooms are filty but you can find a decent amount of products. And everything is $1 so Im not going to complain much. The ice cream sandwiches were much needed after a long morning in the New Orleans sun.

Staff have always been courteous. No one working there has much hustle but I dont roll into a dollar store if Im in a rush. Stock is well managed and diverse. It is now my staple for seasonal goods like wrapping paper, school supplies, and party decoration/flatware.

It is a clean store with very good values for an educated consumer, such as myself. Stationary supplies, kitchen utensils and storage containers, glassware, dishes snack foods and candles are great unbeatable values. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I was enjoying myself there, but when your girlfriend decides to spend an extra 30 minutes more than you were ready for, I couldnt help but give it 4 stars. Wide variety of products us great and all, but other significant others beware.

Typical Dollar Tree location. Cashiers are usually friendly. Management needs to be replaced! 3:45pm, one cashier open, three managers standing near a register telling everyone the other register is open, even though it has a line backed down an aisle. Store seemed to be disorganized- low product level and boxes of stock cluttering the aisles making it hard to shop.

Open late and friendly service. Isles are clean and neat, unlike the Carrollton location nearby. Only improvement needed is parking lot lighting since you have to park between two buildings.

I love the Dollar Tree .... So reasonable for teachers to give little gifts to their students .... or birthday parties for children from mom and dad.

Its the best Dollar Tree Ive been to in the whole city. It has more of a selection and its the most organized of the chain in New Orleans

Good selection snax, dry goods, household supplies. Party balloons, school supplies and some frozen foods. And everything is $1!

I always enjoy my visits because the employees are very friendly. I just wish they had more employees to open more lines.

They have some incredible values and if you are a divorced single guy in his fifties that had to live with the top of the line toilet paper, top-of-the-line douchebags, top of the line detergent, top of the line fabric softener, excetera. I however do not buy much food as some of it is poor quality, however if you go by your instinct youll be able to bring home lots of food value. What do you expect some service? These guys and girls probably make minimum wage or just above and put up with the clientele that goes into the store it deals with the physical labor I always observe them participating in . You get what you pay for, great place.

One teller was very nice, the other seemed to be having a bad day. Spacious store with decent assortment of merchandise.

Workers are very helpful if they see you walking around like you dont know were something is they will stop what they doing and show you were it is.

I go to this DT about 3 times a week. It carries a wide variety of all kinds of things and thats great. My complaint is that the lines are always so long. Almost everytime I go there is only 1 lane open.

Is it possible to rate less than 1?Yesterday, my daughter and I stopped in to grab a few things for a project. Hands full bc none of the baskets would roll properly, we approached the cashiers. A lady told us to go to lane 3. As we put our merchandise down, the lane 3 cashier walked out the front door of the building. There were 3 additional employees in the front of the store. I asked she said lane 3 right?They began talking to each other about where she may have gone.At this point, there are several other customers behind us. I ask, can someone else check us out. It was like I was speaking another language! Finally, cashier 3 walks back in and the others fuss at her about there being a line. Rather than acknowledging the line, she starts fussing back saying that she said lane 1 was open.I dont expect Chick-fil-a service at a dollar tree, but as a company you should expect your employees to actually work. We wasted a good 5 minutes or more watching this nonsense. I walked out, left my stuff and will never go back to that place again!****please note. . Ive had this horrible experience more than once, but chose to return with the hopes that your company would work to improve. .. never again.

It usually looks like Godzilla went shopping in there when I go. (i.e. boxes in the aisles, stuff on the ground, products that should be in one place in another place) However, it is a dollar store and when you need just one or two of something that you dont want to pay a lot for, it hits the spot. Lines can get long if it is a busy time of day.

The store closed five minutes early and refused me entry although there was at least one customer checking out who left and was readmitted presumably for a package. When the store was called, the person answering stated that she was the manager and she had to go and rudely hung up the phone.
