If you are looking for all things Mardi Gras, crafting, and glitter this is a fabulous local store in New Orleans. Nori is one of the owners and is a genius an excellent teacher who provides tips and console for anyone in the store. Every time I walk all the way over there you are closed.Friday I guess you close early?Does not say that online.Sunday they said you would be open Monday- Friday 10 am.I walk all the way over there and you are closed Monday and Tuesday?When I got home I google it again and this time it says you are closed Monday and Tuesday.I guess I should just take the damn bus all the way to Walmart.They are open. I am sure that they sell glitter.So much for trying to support local businesses.How do people know if you are open?

You can get gorgeous glitter here for $4.95 in a decent sized jar, perfect for sprinkling anywhere. There are so many supplies. I swear, when you walk in for the first time youll get hypnotized. I love this place.

Glitter- as far as the eye can see- so much glitter! But also so much more... NOLA Craft Culture has so many neat crafting supplies (like Micheal’s with a fantastic NOLA specific twist) it’s a makers dream. Friendly staff.

I took a illuminated headdress class as my second class here here. It was extremely disappointing. The materials they provided were on par with a third grade art class. They wanted us to buy additional materials from their store after paying for the class. I was embarrassed to leave with the final product.Brother O’Mara’s sculpy skull class was amazing. But the headdress class really soured my experience with NOLA Craft Culture.

Looks like a great store, but you need luck to be able to shop there. No telling when theyll be open or when theyll just decide to close early because they feel like it.
