I love Michaels. I love the sales, I love the discounts for teachers. 4 stars because lots of items werent priced and when you have signage that says buy 1 get 1 free, you (kind of) need to know what the cost of 1 is. I had an annoying moment with the cashier last time not wanting to give me my 10 dollars credit, but that rarely happens there. Cashiers are usually great.

Michaels was fantastic, I loved the sales. I was able to find lots of goodies for jewelry making, I had a great haul! The cashiers are very helpful and kind, my Cadhuers name was Sherry, thankbu for all your help, it was fun!

On 4/6/20: Just FYI for anyone trying to brave the store - they are only letting in 1-2 customers in the store at a time, but management isn’t talking to anyone lined up outside so it’s unclear what’s going on. Took 45 minutes to get inside with only 5 people ahead in line. Brought my baby thinking this would be a quick in and out trip, but definitely would have found another option has I known. Stay safe everyone!

Micheals is the bomb for getting art supplies just keep your eyes peeled for the specials and sales .. If you get the coupon online they always honor it and it saves great money. I especially like their outre selection of reading glasses with vibrant and sometime wacky frames!

Like a candy store for artists and crafters. Some decent pricing, and if you sign up for their regular shopper program, they send some great deals. Way better than that other place.

I didnt like the fact that they had the photo board that I was looking for but the lady that was in the back told me she wasnt gonna be cutting none no time soon in so many words after I asked a few questions about when they would be available. At a time like this when people are trying to create meaningful memories for our 2020 graduates. Like lady just get some damn boards cut😡😡🤬🤬

Love the Customer Service. The store was low on Supplies and I wanted to go to the West Bank Location instead. But After the guy and lady kept assisting me and directing me. I ended up buying more than I came there for lol. I felt like I have gotten finesse. They was giving me all kind of Options the Engagement was on point while being in A Social Distance. I was Amazed and in my head I was thinking these people need A Raise. Then I was like they must seen me back in the day when I was A secret Agent 😂. They were really the best. Nice experience. It was very crowded, busy. I had a question on the stencil aisle. The male associate was patient and helpful. When I saw him again, he was at the registers helping out. Give him a raise.

National store in a mini mall with arts, crafts and hobby stuff. They have sales often and their fans all know it. Idk how parents keep their kids away from the candy at checkout. Maybe one healthy option would be nice.

Amazing Michaels! So nice and clean with lots of great options. Smaller than the other store but with the same amount of stuff. Knowledgeable staff, very helpful. Had what I needed and what I wanted lol. Will return again and again!

I went to have a couple pictures custom framed. Im the type of person that can never make a decision. So when I walked in with my husband he was already not looking forward to it. I was in and out within 30 minutes. A miracle for me. The girl at the framing counter really understood the art of it all and recommended a couple of frames for me that worked perfectly within my budget. Win win. The only draw back was the price. Im a cheap skate at heart. But overall I think it was a great experience and Im happy with my pictures.

Craft supplies. I spent most of my life in Hobby Lobby but Michaels takes the cake. Consistent sales that provide great value to the experience. End of August and Halloween is out which makes the happiest person this side of the Mason Dixon line.

Michaels for crafty people must be a bonanza. For folks like me its like an amusement park. I did projects with my daughters as they grew up. Bird houses, Christmas ornaments, wall hangings. But now, Its picture frames for home and gifts. Sometimes the inventory is a little shy, but generally not disappointed. Catch the sales! 👍🏽

I had lots of birthday cake let and I needed something to put the sliced pieces in. I was in a hurry but found some cute bags . Michaels is a craft store and you would be surprised to find many things for a craft you do or promise yourself youre going to do.

Overpriced and did not have the felt I was looking for. I absolutely will not shop at Hobby Lobby because of their anti- women politics. I wish there was a stronger alternative.

Let me start with the good! It’s a small store and usually has everything on my list. The people who work there are pretty nice. I have frequented this location since they opened.I recently found out they allow dogs in the store. While I am a dog owner I believe that dogs should not be brought into some public spaces. Like retail stores. That’s just my opinion. I will not be going back to this location because it in next door to a pet store.

Normally a good experience. Today was terrible. Went in to buy tins to package respiratory herbs for inhalation (dont worry, I will sterilize them) and was made fun of by not 1 but 2 cashiers for wearing a mask. One asked to take a picture of me. Found the 2 items I was looking for spent $135 dollars which was a good price for my daughters present. I didnt like the fact the security guard was everywhere I was, I wasnt comfortable with that. I may go back, seen a few nice things my kids might enjoy.

Glad theres a New Orleans location for this craft store. They have great customer service. Staff is always willing to help you locate items. Poster and picture framing department staff are very patient. Use the rewards program to receive up to 60% off regular price items. Kid friendly craft classes happen every week. You just have to buy the supplies to make the item. Entrance into the shopping center can be confusing if not familiar with the area. You can clearly see the signage from the street but at night you have to be careful of heavy traffic merging onto Claiborne Ave. Love the store especially if I run out of a crafting item. I dont have to go to Jefferson to complete my project.

Michaels is your typical big box craft store. Make sure if you need to buy a bunch of stuff over a couple of days or weeks that you use a coupon. You can usually get a 40% off or 50% off coupon though its mobile app. I always wait until they are doing the BIG sales at the custom frame shop, if you wait a week or two they always have 40%, 50%, 55% and sometimes 60% OFF custom framing orders. Great deals and beautiful framing.

Michaels has the most beautiful items for making craft. The employees were very, very helpful and knowledgeable about the materials that I needed. I was very satisfied with their items and service.

Good crafts shop!

I went into this Michaels location recently and was unimpressed with the customer service they had there. They were running a discount for the day, and I asked if they were doing discounts, and I was told no. Only until I made it out the check out line did I see that they were indeed offering discounts. I would offer the same discount to every customer, even if they ask. It cheapens your service if customers find it out later. I suggest that the manager start keeping this in mind.

Great atmosphere and great people. Very organized and clean. Easy to find what I was looking for. Stock was well maintained and merchandised correctly.

I love love Michaels! This store is very organized and everything is easy to find. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the line has been long with only one cashier.

Overall the store was well kept and clean, but the planner selection was lacking to say the least. The staff was kind and knew the stock. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone needing craft products.

Why does this place even exist? Its the second time Ive gone to Michaels looking for basic craft or art supplies, but was told the store no longer carries it. The first time, 8 was looking for linoleum printing supplies. No longer in stick. This time, I was looking for origami paper. No longer in stock. But so many varieties of packs of ugly frame-able quotes on yardstick, and - oh - if I should ever need a sign with home CNCed onto an ugly piece of wood. Never. What a waste of a trip. Itd be better if this place just goes out if business so people quit wasting their time.

Just took a class there painting with my daughters it was fun and the young lady that ran the class was very helpful it was free and something to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon so all three of us painted some flower pots and theyre looking pretty on the windowsill

The staff at this Michael’s are very polite and helpful. This location is a bit smaller than other Michael’s that I visited. I’m big on baking, and so I’d visit this location more frequently if that area was larger.

The location parking lot sucks! I went for the bead sale. They didnt have many but they had what you needed, if that makes sense. The employees was calm and helpful.

A fine store but there is literally no one on the floor to ask for help finding things. I hate that. The custom gaming dept does a fine job, but its outrageously overpriced. They also place one order for holiday stock, so if you dont grab something you see, thinking youll come back, youll be out of luck!
