Went there a week ago for an Industrial. I was really nervous that I didnt have the right anatomy. The moment I walked in and said I wanted an Industrial Jered was up and checking my ear before deciding I could get the piercing. He measured the bar to my ear and the piercing took no more than 1 minute and wasnt painful. He was kind enough to entertain all my mothers questions and allowed her to take pictures. I was worried about the healing process as I have heard horror stories with Industrials, but the angle of the piercing is perfect, no pulling whatsoever, the bar is not touching any part of my ear that it shouldnt be. I was worried about the bar size, as this is a 1 1/4 inch and standard for new piercings is 1 1/2inch, but he assured me that it wouldnt be an issue and he wasnt wrong. Its healing perfectly so far, Ill update if anything changes but past this point Im sure any complications would fall on me and not the piercer. Photo taken 2 days after piercing.

They were great! They took great care of my sister. It was her first body piercing and they put her at ease. It was so clean, and they enforced social distancing and masks very well.

One of the cleanest most professional studios I have ever gotten any body modification done. I had been considering getting my septum pierced for years. Not sure what made me do so during my recent trip to NOLA but am so glad I did. I’m writing this review two months after getting my ear lobes and septum pierced and the healing process has been SO smooth. The staff was very professional and the jewelry is high quality (I got 14k gold rings). It was my first time ever getting piercings and they made the experience very positive.

Ive wanted my nose pierced for quite some time, and for some odd reason, I was terrified - like literally dreading the thought of a needle going through my nose. I have many...many large tattoos, but its something about a needle that makes me cringe.I did a lot of research on the internet to learn more about the process from piercing to healing. I even talked with friends and family that have piercings. But, unfortunately, all that did was make my anxiety much worse, and the experience varied from person to person - and from article to article.This past Sunday, I got my courage and decided on Purity Body Arts after reviewing their reviews and speaking with my sister, who recently got her ears pierced by Jered.So I sat my appointment with Jered and went on in.What I immediately noticed is Purity lives up to its name. Its clean, open, very nice, and they have a jewelry case as Ive never seen before in a piercing studio. Their jewelry is exquisite and unique. I saw a couple of reviews here mentioning the price. In my opinion, there is something for all budgets, but if the price is a significant factor for you, then this probably isnt the place.....and thats OK. My total cost $236 and included the piercing, beautiful nose ring, and the tip; reasonably priced for the great experience and jewelry I wanted.Upon arrival I walked up to the counter and introduced myself, and was greeted by Jered. This guy is so amiable. I told him I was nervous, and he put me at ease. I also told him that I did not want to watch him set up due to my anxiety. I wanted to get my nose pierced (with my eyes closed), and thats it. He obliged.When I walked into the room, I sat back in a chair, and he pierced my nose. It took less than a minute!!!Heres the cherry on top - NO PAIN! Literally, I felt a lot of pressure but no pain.My eye watered a bit, and guess what....Jered wiped my tears & cleaned up my smudged eyeliner/mascara! This guy is incredibly kind and patient - just what I needed in a piercer.If I could give Purity more stars I totally would. But, given Im already going back in August for another piercing....I think thats enough for you to know that this is the place for you if youre considering any type of piercing.

So we just showed up. Did what the sign told us and went back for our appointment. I recommend checking out the website and scheduling an appointment first these days. The reviews on Google was what had us choosing this place. Excellent reviews. Ivy was amazing. She was a professional with great skill. The selection of jewelry was phenomenal as well as unique. The studio was thoroughly clean. The paperwork was easy and organized. As a mother who was letting her teenager get a second set of ear piercings done I was very grateful for her professional guidance. Years ago Claire’s did her first set and they were a little crooked and not done well. I really wish I had known about places like this then. When Ivy pierced her ear I was able to watch and the needle just slid right in so smoothly. It didn’t hurt her at all. It made for another wonderful New Orleans memory with my teenager and a great piercing experience. Thank you Ivy.

Every piercing done by Kyler, I’ve had to remove. He uses substandard jewelry and claims it’s of high quality. Absolutely mediocre. Furthermore he is abusive to females, mentally, emotionally, and physically. He’s a third-rate piercer.

What to expect when visiting Purity Body Arts:- They carry a basic selection of good quality jewellery, which is reasonably priced considering its imported.- If you want to get pierced, you will be waiting for 1-3 hours. Yep, 3 hours. I was there for 2 and a half hours once. If youre there in the afternoon, you could wait 90+ minutes only to be told they have no room that day. They dont do appointments or even basic time management, and you, the client, will have to fit around them.- If you just want to buy jewellery, you might wait up to 45 minutes. This is because there is no person dedicated to running the counter, only piercers - who are mostly in the piercing rooms, or busy talking to customers pre- or post-piercing. Complete lack of organisation.- Patronising and macho attitude - I asked what diameter a piece of jewellery was, the answer was Its too small for you. I insisted, he measured it, it was my size. I bought it while he looked at me like Whatever, I know best, youll regret it - it fits perfectly.- Incredibly inappropriate and sexual comments. While getting pierced, the piercer made several very inappropriately flirty comments, culminating with Oohhh, so Im the first girl to put her fingers up your nose, *smirk*. Followed by comments on my appearance every time I visited the shop thereafter. SO. GROSS. Run far away.

Had a great experience with Kyler, clean, professional- got my septum done, and several days later zero issues and pretty much no pain (except when I forget about it and knock it!).

DO NOT BOOK ONLINE. They will charge you $75 if you don’t show up, even tho they never say online that they don’t use outside jewelry, and their jewelry is super overpriced. They pierced my girlfriends nose during Covid. Saw another piercer and was told the guy put the piercing in the wrong place. Literally pierced her through her nostril area instead of above it so now that it’s mostly healed and she has a hoop, it looks stupid. Horrible all around

I Googled body piercing studios in the area, and Purity was the first to pop up. They had raving reviews on cleanliness and expertise, so I wanted to do the same and leave a review for someone else like me to read! Booking my appointment online was super easy, and I received text updates throughout the day. Just as the photos and reviews show, this shop and staff ensure health safety from the minute you walk through the door. My artist was Kyler, and he was so professional, courteous, and comforting throughout the process. Once the process was over, he answered any questions I had and ensured I was comfortable (despite the obvious pain from the piercing😂) before leaving the studio. If you’re spontaneously looking for a piercing studio, or you’ve been contemplating one for a while, Purity is the place to go!

I had a great experience here. The place is very clean and so cute inside. I came in for a belly button piercing and I literally booked an appointment that day i was getting it done on their website. It was super easy and a quick process. My piercer was Kyler and he was awesome!!! He’s very nice, funny, and just an easy person to talk to. Absolutely beautiful shop, the owner likewise has a beautiful soul. She keeps her shop clean and full of good vibes. Shes super sweet, informative and supportive. The prices are a little high, but this was definitely a high class shop, so very worth it in the end. Definitely coming back.

The piercers here are absolutely amazing. My original piercer Monique has pierced me several times and I am happy to see her at a shop that specializes in piercing.The shop offers a two week checkup but I went in today (3 months later) to have a look at my piercing. Maggie was great in helping me with my issue and it already feels so much better. Turns out I was cleaning my piercing too much. 😁 I will never go anywhere else for a piercing.

I took my 9 year old daughter to Purity to get her ears pierced, and I ended up getting a conch piercing. Monique pierced me, and Sabrina pierced my daughter. They both were knowledgeable and helpful with every step of the piercing process. Also, the jewelry selection there is amazing - such beautiful jewels. Purity has a spa-like, zen feel. The store and piercing room / tools / staff were very hygienic. Both my daughter and I will be returning here for future piercings. I highly recommend Purity.

I was late to my appointment but the lady there still assisted me and waited long as she could for me I would tip her more but I didnt have enough money after I purchased the nose piercing services and nose ring I was broke and only left with bill money but I still may send money to her when I get paid again.

I had my navel and industrial pierced here. One in 2016 and the other in 2019. I LOVE this place. I will not go anywhere else for my piercing or jewelry needs. I had stopped in to Purity while on vacation in NOLA a couple months back. I had always thought about wanting my nose pierced, so I decided to look around inside and ask some questions about it. The girl at the front desk was very helpful and showed me a lot of different studs that could be used. I decided to go ahead and get it done there before heading back home and I am glad I did. The piercer was patient, friendly and very thorough with cleaning instructions. My nose piercing is healing really well and I’ve had no problems. I will definitely go back the next time I’m in town!

Lars gave me an upper helix piercing and was so sweet and fun! I felt super comfortable with them, and they were very careful to make sure that I always knew what was going to happen and that I was happy with my piercing. After reading amazing reviews and getting recommended by a friend, I decided to go to Purity for my first cartilage piercing. The entire experience was so simple and relaxed and just an overall great experience. Definitely will go back when I get an itch for new piercing.

My sister and I wanted piercings and after checking the reviews, it seemed Purity Body Arts was the perfect spot to go. Sabrina walked us each through the jewelry available for our respective pierce types, and answered all of our questions about the process. The shop is very clean and I felt secure that the piercing would be done professionally, quickly and as painlessly as possible in the very clean, sterile environment of the piercing room. Sabrina also had a lovely personality and made us both feel comfortable and welcome. My nose pierce did hurt a tiny bit, but I am thrilled with it, how it was performed, and with the beautiful jewelry that I was able to choose. My sister chose a beautiful hoop with diamonds for her helix pierce on her ear. Again Sabrina was awesome, fast, and also took into consideration my sisters hearing aid so as to ensure the best placement of the hoop to show it off and enjoy it without interfering with the placement of the hearing aid. A+ experience. We dont live in NOLA, but if we did, we would certainly return to Purity Body Arts and request Sabrina for any other piercings we wanted to have done. The jewelry they have is also made on site and so its not the same things you might see in a store that orders out. My friend had her helix pierced here over a year ago and she has had constant problems with it and its healing! We visited a highly respected piercing shop in the area which checked the piercing and confirmed the bar was too short and too thick, which left a tunnel-like hole. The piercing was also performed at a major slant which has made the helix impossible to change!

Visited a year ago and had a fantastic experience. Came back when in town again and felt like an inconvenience to the staff after asking prices and if they sold any cheaper body jewelery. This was not meant to disrespect the business, just wanted to explore all the stores options. I would visit again seeing as their stone and glass plugs selection is impressive and reasonably priced, but left today with a more bitter taste in my mouth than last time.*There was no sign in sheet today, as Ive seen that a popular response from the owner.

Hands down best piercing studio Ive ever been to. Immaculately clean, brightly lit, with a quiet and calm atmosphere, which lends to an exceptional experience. I came in with my partner to get my navel pierced. Brooklen helped me pick the jewelry and was very knowledgeable about their products. Monique performed the piercing, and talked us through the entire process in detail, from anatomy check, to sterilization, to aftercare. Between the atmosphere and the staff, my partner, who previously was rather squeamish about piercings, is now comfortable with them, and unexpectedly likes my newest bit of jewelry! We are from DFW, TX, and would gladly make the 8+ hour drive to be pierced here again.

Id give more than 5 stars if I could. I have quite a few piercings, and this shop (and overall experience) was top notch. Sabrina showed me all my jewelry options & was very clear about pricing. Kyler did the piercing, placed it perfectly, and was super patient & kind through the whole process. Purity is worth every penny (and despite other comments that say its pricey... I felt it was realistically priced for a safe, quality shop and that everyone behind the counter was honest & up-front about costs before I committed to anything). I have been pierced by Sabrina and I can say it was executed perfectly, she is amazingly clean and professional! The studio is beautiful and they have a gorgeous selection of jewelry to choose from. Some others have complained about the pricing in their reviews, and I gotta say...quality isnt cheap. If you are looking for cheap, this isnt your place because there is nothing cheap about any part of it; the service, the years of experience the piercers have, the jewelry and the shop as a whole. You cant get that just anywhere.

My personal piercing experience was with Sabrina, and she performed a conch piercing and a helix piercing on my right ear. I have a tendency to get pretty nervous before I get piercing, but her bedside manner is phenomenal. She was extremely patient, and allowed me the time I needed to be in a calm state before performing them so that spoke volumes to me. I was not rushed in, I felt very in control during the procedure, and it was a relatively painless process.Purity is also a beautiful shop. The jewelry selection is stellar, and I felt like there was a little bit of everything to choose from which helped me stay inside of my budget. The cleanliness from the front door to the piercing room was top notch as well, and I felt very comfortable in the fact that I knew all of the conditions were sterile and that my health and safety were a priority. I would absolutely visit their shop again, and look forward to the next time I do. 10/10 would recommend them for your piercing and jewelry needs!!!

Got my lip pierced about a week ago. I love it! I was a big weenie but Monique did a great job at getting me over my nerves. She was super kind and helpful. Piercing was virtually painless and a breeze. 10/10 would recommend.

Horrible customer service. I had some issues with my piercing and went to ask for help. Very bad attitude from staff when I asked them for other options. They insisted it was the size of the jewelry but that does not explain the redness and the pain I experienced. I was planning to have another piercing done with them but now Im definitely not coming back.

I have been following Sabrina on various social media for a few years now and FINALLY travelled and my friends and I got pierced by her!!!! I was so excited, I’d been wanting a new piercing and couldn’t decide so I got two at once. :) Sabrina talked me through it because I was nervous (I have tattoos but I still freak out! Lmao) and was so genuine and gave the best after care tips. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Was in town and decided to stop in and get my philtrum pierced. It was super easy to book an appointment online, the shop was very clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and helped me feel at ease! Dylan did my piercing and walked me through every step of the process. The piercing looks great, is healing well and Im very happy with it! Would definitely recommend!

Sabrina was amazing!!! She pierced my conch and my boyfriend’s earlobe. She had plenty of knowledge about healing/stretching our specific piercings (my bf and I had A Lot of questions) and was incredibly pleasant & informative.The entire staff was very professional, and the shop was both clean and beautiful. Purity seems truly sensitive to the needs of their clients, making the experience quite comfortable. The jewelry is no more expensive than other high-quality piercing places, and their selection is better than the shop I go to at home (which is often heralded for its jewelry selection)I’d recommend getting pierced here, and would absolutely recommend getting pierced by Sabrina. Sabrina had the best customer service we could’ve asked for— after we watched a gal cruise outta here looking fab with her new bling & glowing confidence, we knew it was hole-in-the-face-o-clock. After careful consultation and clear expectations of hygiene, pain and future pride, we were ready to go. Dylan pounded my ears perfectly but not in a weird way. Highly recommend this place if you’re into quality customer service and a guaranteed gorgeousness.

I would absolutely recommend Purity for piercing services. I traveled from the northshore for a nose piercing and thankful that I did. Jewelry quality and service was great. I had to wait a few days for an appointment with Monique, but it was worth the wait. She was knowledgeable, patient and friendly. I know everyone is different, however my healing process is progressing well. The site was sore for maybe an hour after piercing, but I have not had any negative reactions since my piercing 2 weeks ago - no swelling, no redness, no irritation, no bruising, no pain - nothing! I love my piercing and will be back in a few months to downsize my jewelry. The place was clean and organized.

I came in after attempting to change out my own room piercing at home with no success. I had been wanting new jewelry as well. The shop was clean and friendly. The lovely lady at the front desk was patient and helped me assemble and anodize my new jewelry to my liking. Very positive experience and I would definately recommend them to anyone new to body jewelry.

I got my nose pierced here while on a work trip. Beautiful studio, excellent selection of jewelry and the staff were kind and knowledgeable. If I lived in New Orleans this would be my go to piercing studio. Highly recommend!

I came in Wednesday to get a piercing. It was done by Sabrina. She is very sweet and gentle. Both her and Kyler are amazing and made me feel comfortable. Sabrina was very patient with me while I chose the jewelry I wanted. (They have tons of beautiful pieces and Im bad at making decisions.) Overall I had a great experience and I will definitely be back!
