These store owners are a bunch of thieves. 2 nd time in there and got cheated after buying a gallon bottle of Seabreeze astringent... Carried it back because it was found cheaper and with discount elsewhere.. they refused to return the $24.99 cost to my bank card with multiple escuses: more than 5 days, item opened when it was never touched and sold unsealed forcing me to take store credit only... A bad experience means i dont wish to do business with you... Instead I was forced to lose my money... Will be informing Mastercard..Stealing is my impression of this establishment located in a poor neighborhood.

Poor customer service experience at this place. Do not agree with a sometime policy with returning items with a receipt and unopen product. Did not appreciate the lack of customer service with the cashier and owner/manager very rude and impersonal. It was my last time going there based on the treatment I was given. Asked others and they agree with the same sentiment. I am not going to pay you to mistreat me.

Every thing you need in one beauty hair store. But they are very rude...follow you thru the store watching you like your gonna steal...smh.Terrible customer service... Its my last choice if all other stores are closed.

They trial sizes, $199-$2.99) are located at the front of the store, near cashier. (*Not too many local hair supply stores carry Ms. Jessies hair products. For full line go Ms. Jessies website and request Mid K store manager to order requested items. You are buying local and should not have to pay for shipping and postage costs.)Also, affordable selections of human hair wigs, shampoos, conditioners, skull caps for men, sleep caps, and shower caps. Really huge selections.My only concern is that there is more interest in security than customer service. No one should have to feel as if they are a potential shoplifter. Thereb is always a clerk at the door, not to greet you, or ask you if you need assistance. Its to profile you. There needs to be a balance between providing superior, professional, and attentive customer service to the general public along with implementing strong security measures to prevent theft.This is a high traffic store which is generating a lot of business. This means there are ALOT of loyal customers. Yet, the customer service needs much improvement. The photo of the store I posted with this review has over 68,000 views, and this review has 100 views.

I dont go to Mid K often, however, when I do happen to find my way there, I usually find everything Im looking for and some things I wasnt looking for but wanted. Anyway, the people that run the place are very polite, and helpful. I would have given them five (5) stars, but I think that theyre a bit expensive. Ill still recommend them though. 😊👌

The store has a good selection of hair types and length, wigs,hair products, accessories. Clean store. The negative part is the older guy stood by the door to watch me and my mother as we shopped which was uncalled for. Disrespectful and violating. Last time I will go there.

My experience at the store was terrible. Upon entering the store I was not even acknowledged. I chose not to walk out because I wanted to ser how long it would take for anyone in the store to offer assistance. I was in the store for 20 minutes before an attendant asked if he could help me. I politely said no and informed him that since entering the store he was the only one who asked if he could help me. Epic fail at customer service whe patrons enter the store. The store is overly crowded and seems in disarray. Staff are not friendly and courteous. I will not return to the location again.

This store has a good selection. However in the past one of the workers here purposely tried giving me the wrong change to keep my 5 dollars. He tried to see if I wouldnt notice. I must say the staff here (recently) have been better.

I go to this hair supply store chain for bobbi boss nulocks synthetic dreads 27 gold and hair color and hair accessories. This was my first visit to the whalley avenue location. I usually go to the dixwell Ave or westville location. I was greeted with a smile and verbal welcome! This location has the leAst accommodating parking but the most pleasant customer service. I will return.

I needed things to get my daughters hair braided and everything was easy to find

Every time I go here I always love my time there they have the most cutest things and theyre really dont cost a lot every time when I go Im always surprised by what I got with little money and the staff that work there are very friendly I recommend it to anyone

I would never buy hair from them again. I wasnt given a receipt and all I wanted to do was change my hair but they wouldnt let me without my receipt. The price tags on all the hair literally says Mid-K. The manager was being very rude and lied about watching the cameras to prove I was there. They lucky I cant give them 0 stars cause I would.

They are over charging their customers I came in on Friday 12/29/17 they have the empire hair all colors on sale for $15.99,however, I picked up the emerald green package to my surprise it was $29.99 I ask why was the emerald green hair twice the amount they said the company make the prices (Sensational) I reached out to (Sensational) to confirm the pricing I will keep you all posted
