I had a great experience from the very first communication to when I picked up my car. They got me the financing I needed and helped me all the way. A few minor issues with the car but that’s to be expected with any used car. I would totally come back and use them again!

We brought a used car from here doing the warranty it had a problem something with the screen from the transmission and between the engine. We asked was the transmission getting ready to go up? The answer was no, guess what happened 2 months later the transmission went up we didn’t have the car for 5 months. I’m so glad we were in a safe place when it happened because it happened when I was driving. These people will sell you anything to make a dollar the want to sue for the rest of their money but everyone isn’t dumb. That car was a lemon and I believe they knew it. Don’t trust them at all and they will get smart with you which unprofessional and trust I gave it right back. Please watch them with their buy here pay here.

I bought my car there a little over a year and a half ago. They were easy to work with and were able to find something in my budget at the down payment I could afford. When Im ready to trade in this car if they have anything available that I like I will definitely use them again. Very friendly helpful staff.

Very unprofessional and ghetto. The staff sits in the back of the office while their runner or front desk person goes back and forth with information. Unnecessary conversation going on while customers present and also profanity being used.

Absolutely unprofessional, The owner told me that the vehicle needed absolutely no work, I get the vehicle home, check engine light pops on, Car is leaking coolant everywhere, I immediately called the dealership back, They laughed and said there was nothing they could do, car was sold as is!!! They were very nasty on the phone, I was hung up on twice, Nobody will return my phone calls. I am now a single parent, that has a broken down car, that they were dishonest about. It’s freezing cold outside and this car that was supposedly perfect, has no heat and will not run. Please stay away from this dealership!!!!!!! They will steal your hard earned money and do nothing to help you once they get your money!!!!

Absolutely unprofessional. When I arrived I went in the office and was told to wait outside (in the rain). After being left in the rain for five minutes a woman came to the door and laid out a list of health safety demands before I could enter which went so far as to remove my face mask and replace it with one they provide. When I said I would not exchange my mask, the woman at the door provided a long personal story about why her request was necessary and demanded that I leave. I had cash in my pocket to put down to buy a car, I was a serious buyer, however I will not every consider returning to New Castle Motors based upon the way I was treated, customer service and sales are clearly not a priority for this used car dealership.

Wonderful application process for quarantine, limits the amount of time in the office because majority is completed online. They take your income and give you a list of cars you can comfortably afford to pay for. Referral program, once someone youve referred has made 2 on time payments you get $100 bonus, just have to remind them, lol. As long as you have steady income you wont be denied!!

This dealership is a scam. Veronica told me there was no manager to speak to besides her. I bought a car from them 2 weeks ago, and then wouldnt accept my first car payment via email or by phone, which is clearly stated on their door that because of covid, that is how they are arranging payments. After 4 days, they repossessed my car at night while I was at work, stranding me and my 7 year old son at my office, due to non-payment. Went there physically this morning(11/24), and they still would not accept payment, and in fact, told me they were cancelling the deal and keeping the car, that theyll refund me the down payment minus mileage fees and towing costs. What a way to make money. Baffling that this company is still in business.

My experience there was good at first but soon as i got my car the car started to turn off by itself while I’m driving. The brakes would stopped working and making sounds constantly. And to top it off I had completely no AC. Every time I dropped off my car to get it repaired they would give me an excuse why it couldn’t get fixed. One time I dropped my car off for repairs and my car was literally sitting at the car shop windows down pouring rain. So my whole entire car seats was soaking wet. They wanted to hold my car for two extra days after that. I’m 22 and that was my first time purchasing a car on my own please do not go to them. Because of me returning my car i didn’t even receive my down payment back. They take people’s money and sell bad cars that put people in danger. It would makes your experience the worse.

Shamika didnt stop crunching numbers until she found financing and car payment to fit my budget. Monique even help find me affordable insurance. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!! This place is VERY unprofessional...they have no care in your interest for a car...they choose the car for you without explaining the reason behind it...I had explained to them some features I would like in a car which are minor features but if I’m spending my hard working money on a vehicle I would want what I’m paying for...they pretty much brushed off my interest as if it didn’t matter to them...they just throw you in any car with high mileage and cars that are over 10 years which is worth no value...DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I was thinking about going there to look for a car however when I stopped by no one even noticed me or asked me if I needed assistance! This place is unprofessional and I see that by the response to the reviews! What happened to making the customers happy! Not to mention my sister bought a car from there then two days later the whole break system failed and they keep giving her the run around about getting it fixed! Moral of the story go elsewhere

I had the worst experience! It saddens me to hear others, let alone the people work there laugh about other customers and or the way they look or smell. The salesperson was so unprofessional when working with her... she went over my personal business in the lobby with other customers and laughed at previous customers misfortune. I couldn’t believe the level of professionalism there... I strongly suggest anyone looking to repair their credit, go elsewhere. You will be laughed and talked about, as soon as you leave the door. This place is very unprofessional. My welcome was warm and I got a good feeling when I first went in today. I had cash in my pocket, ready to make a purchase. I don’t have the best credit and I’m aware of that. The process for you to get a car here is almost insulting to your intelligence. After being there 3 hours...I was ready to put money down on a car. I asked for a CarFax or a vehicle report and was left waiting for 35+ minutes, the sales person never returned...when I asked about it again I was told she would be right back, 15 mins later given attitude like I was being impatient. Then I was told there wasn’t one. There was also no vehicle report. Tell me how that’s possible. All cars have a vehicle report or CarFax. As a used car dealership, you don’t have a CarFax account? And it took over 45 mins at this point to tell me?I’m very disappointed in this place and how they handled me as a customer. Very rude, doesn’t keep you informed. Requires a lot before they give you numbers. You can tell that they are used treating people like children because they THINK you need them. Even the signs posted are insulting and unprofessional.The first thing she did was apologize for the last dealership experience I had...which by the way wasn’t bad, she just assumed her place was better. However out of all the places I’ve shopped for a car over the last week, this was the worst experience. And not one place I’ve been denied me a vehicle report or CarFax!

They have descent cars but the down payments are high which was a first red flag. Also they have you go through the whole process before they actually give you the numbers. The whole thing just seemed like a scam to me. The cars were dirty inside to the point where it just takes away from the value of the inventory. Needless to say that me and my wife didnt go with them and was a complete waist of time.. we ended up going to Richardson Imports in NJ and gotta much better deal and a way better car for half of what new castle motors were offering. So they get three stars for their inventory but the prices were ridiculous.

My name is Mr. Burns. I recently financed a VW Jetta 2.5SE thru them. Tanisha has been exceptional. They were able to get me in a car first day, work with me on my down payment, and have been lenient since I work a full-time job and have visitation issues that keep me tied up. Only thing I can say is I have never had to finance a car before, I normally purchase brand new with cash, so I was unfamiliar with the process and a little agitated at first at having to do so many little things like run it thru with the Dmv, return with paperwork. My agitation was more me misplacing stress from my person life though as I look back. They made everything as painless as possible, and I would definitely recommend. If you dont want to jump thru hoops for a nice car, then maybe you dont deserve one. My first time having to finance has been an overall good experience thanks to Tanisha and New Castle Motors.

I was told that I was approved for a loan I told them I was over 2 hours away the woman on the phone said come on up so after a 2 hour drive. And being made to set another 1 and a 1/2 hours I was told sorry but we cant make you a loan because your to far away call our sister store thats a 1/2hour away from your home carzone in Dover they told me we dont have to many bhph so we really cant help unless you have $1500 to $2000 to put down ao many time at new castle was a big waste of time

Poor customer service especially after you purchase a car. They also forged a signature on a car and tried to make me pay for their mistake. The tire on my car was nearly falling off and they REFUSED to take a look at it. And ran my credit WITHOUT my approval because I’m young. I won’t be back ever.

The two blk ladies in there horrible customer service they cuss they mumble jokes while customers are present just plain horrble.. they need more of a bryan type of people in there too turn that place around. In the beginning everything seemed great, I was first pre approved for a 2010 Dodge Caliber, Then one of the sales women decided it would by more suitable for me to get a 2002 Saturn L200 due to my financial situation etc and also I could have it paid off in a years time then do a trade in for something better, before we finalized everything I signed a We Owe You document because the check engine light was on, the driver seat was sunken in badly and no radio, so we agreed that I could come back the following Thursday to get it all taking car of, so I went back that Thursday to be told that I couldnt wait there while the car was being repaired nor could I wait outside, so I had to reschedule..prior to me leaving I gave them the paperwork from Auto Zone with the codes, and one of the Ladies was like yeah I knew what was wrong with it but the one who sold me the car had a look of confusion?? And said When was someone gonna tell me that? And the replied I did tell you that mean time she was in the back and I couldnt see her I could only hear what she was saying..so like I said I had to reschedule, So when the time came something came up and again it had to be cancelled, At this point time is ticking on my temp tags so I went back again and was told to come back another day to get the tag situation straight, so I came back again to be told I had to wait because I had attempted to get a temp tag from DMV which pushed her request out, went back again and she had forgotten that she told me to come that day and had to reschedule AGAIN and I believe it was a holiday weekend..granted I did go to DMV because I had already received a ticket for expired tags and I couldnt keep waiting around, so I ended up getting a temp tag because I couldnt pass inspection because of the repairs that needed to be done, some were safety (tires)so I was told by DMV that I was gonna have to demand them to fix my car because I need my hard plate! Meanwhile I ended up getting in a accident that wasnt my fault (hit and run) and the car was messed up bad!! So I had to replace lights etc. So I went back to NCM about the tire situation and they said they would speak to thier accountant and see if they would get tires and add the balance to what I owe..At this point I was stressed because not only was I out of work due to injuries I fell behind on a few payments then to here more money would be needed mad things worst, so They ended setting me up with a arrangement and it worked out for a little, but I was really struggling not being able to work..Needless to say, still no tag, cars Cadillac converter is shot,gas and oil leak, cooling fan malfunction, bad tires, car is overheating, and banged up bad from accident..I called around just to hear the car is only worth 500 and 200 with damages, I put 1000 down and still owed close to 5,000, I had made some payments so its lowered now, but I cant drive the car for numerous reasons, they dont call or communicate anymore, I will only take blame for breaking the arrangement, but they knew I was not working but still tried to make was so I could keep the car, never telling me to return it..The car has little to no value and with the damages and mechanical issues its probably worth 100😔 sad part is Im still going to have to pay the full amount for a car that has been In bad condition from day one. I will give a Thank you for the arrangement part but the fact that it was not a priority to fix the car for me knowing it had issues is so messed up..The car no longer runs and is sitting at a mechanics house in Maryland, and I have no transportation to even travel to see whats goning on..and at this point I dont know what Im supposed to do..I dont even have the number to the finance company because I would reach out to them, because its not their fault..Ive already put $148 into trying to get at least one thing fixed that didnt even work..What a EXPERIENCE for a first car..Horrible..

DO NOT ENTERTAIN THIS CAR DEALERSHIP!!! PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE. I decided to take the time out to warn everyone about New Castle Motors. I have no clue what so ever how these crooks are still in business. First and foremost, this dealership does not give the customer the right to pick out their own vehicle that they were initially interested in. They pick the vehicles for their customers (not knowing what you like or dislike nor do they care) which is an absolute turn-off upfront. Theyre all about fast talking to get money, which will get them nowhere and has gotten them absolutely nowhere in MY case, except for owing me my a full down payment back as well as court cost. New Castle Motors Manager Shemika Freeland has lost in court not once, but TWICE due to her malicious ways. New Castle Motors vehicles are overpriced and have extremely high mileage. (They even use the vehicles on the lot for their personal use) AS WELL AS DRIVING THEM TO COURT & TO DO ILLEGAL REPOSSESSIONS. LOL!!! No wonder they all have high mileage. My daughter is a college student and received a good amount of money that she wanted to use as a down payment for a car. I decided to reward her with a new car with me as the buyer. We went to New Castle Motors and I was going to trade a car (that is in my Husband and Daughters name). Their salesman Joe Castillo and Manager (who is doing a terrible job managing) Shemika Freeland told me they ran my credit and could not sell me a vehicle because my trade-in is already in my name. FIRST LIE! My trade-in is in my Husband & Daughters name. Obviously someone just did not want to sell me a vehicle from the beginning. I ended up agreeing on a 2010 Dodge Caliber and signed a $13,000 contract. After taking the vehicle home New Castle Motors then wanted to sign a new contract for $20,000 and 22% APR. Joe refused to let me take the car through inspection on my own. I believe he wanted me to assume someone else’s car loan. Once I did not agree the salesman and manager became upset and refused to return my down payment. They’ve sent several repo men out for the vehicle and even disabled the vehicle from starting two weeks after I bought it home. After filing a claim on these scam artist for a return of my down payment, Shemika then went to another county two days after receiving my petition and decided to file for a replevin, the judge saw right through her, dismissed her case and sent her back to New Castle county to hear the original case. During the original case, I was rewarded a full return of my $2,000 down payment and I am currently waiting for New Castle Motors to return it in full as well as court filing fees. The manager handles herself terribly in court and the salesman came to court and lied under oath. The case was dismissed in its entirety on their behalf. If New Castle Motors fails return my down payment on time, I will proceed with further legal actions. I will now be extremely careful of the businesses that I trust. This is what happens when you try do business with unprofessional and untrustworthy people. I would have never entertained New Castle Motors had I read their online reviews before taking my daughter there to look for a car. I have yet to see one good review for them and I see why. I am ready to move on from this situation and I am now waiting for a return of my $2,000 down payment as well as court filing fees (as order by the court) to get my daughter the car that she wants and deserves. I really hope no one else falls into the trap of New Castle Motors, I’m glad I caught on before it went any further. I hope they find a new way of conducting business because they are a big JOKE!
