I had an Awesome Experience when I purchased my vehicle here about a year or more ago. I got the Exact car I wanted and am still in Love with it to this day. I removed my rating before because I was upset I was having an issue with my vehicle soon after I purchased it. Turns out the oil was low which caused issues. Other than that which could have caused major issues my car the experience was perfect.Service please make sure all the fluids are where they need to be with the vehicle. We are investing in somthing and that should be the minimum taken care of. Other than that no complaints at all.
We drove an hour to look at a truck and see if we liked it and ended up driving away in it. Our salesman Matthew Sellers helped the process go smoothly, painless, and fast. He made sure our vehicle was spotless, shiny and in tiptop shape ready for us. Highly recommend!!!

About 15 years ago, my dad bought a Toyota Matrix from this dealership. He drove it, my older brother drove it, and ultimately I drove it. The Matrix ate it at over 330,000 miles. While looking for a new car, I ventured to Preston Motors where I was greeted by a friendly face, Walt, a manager, I believe. Although we were somewhat lost in the lot, he was happy to help. Walt introduced us to Matthew Sellers who has to be the nicest salesperson I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I’m naturally an indecisive person, but Matt was kind and patient. I decided on a 2012 Toyota Corolla, which best fit my needs and wants. I wasn’t sure I would leave Preston Motors having purchased a new vehicle, but I’m glad I did. The staff is welcoming, cordial, and professional. A big thank you to Matthew for his expert service. It truly felt like he understood exactly what I wanted and needed. I like to think I’ll be back to Preston Motors in another decade to find another Toyota.

After Paul Makarevich took us on a test drive where he thoroughly explained the vehicle inside and out, we were greeted by owner, Bobby Preston, and his brother Kevin. They were very honest and worked hard to make sure we got a great deal. Needless to say, we drove home with a brand new Pilot that we absolutely love! 1 hr 45 minutes for an oil change and could wait for tire rotation told Id be out by 900, pushed to be out by 9:30.. Its not the employees fault, upper management should care more about CUSTOMER SERVICE than the bottom line. Good employees, just frustrated employees and doesnt appear to be a happy workplace..Thats why I buy at Palmiero Toyota..Even the lounge is much better, there..

I bought this car 6 months ago with the assurance that the brakes were in good condition and everything was in good working condition. My brakes began to grind and when I tried using the AC for the first time it wasn’t working. I took it in for service with a warranty and they gave me a quote of $1.600. saying all of the above needed replaced! What happened to their word that everything was good with this car. We feel cheated and lied to. Quite disappointing I must say. I’m taking it to my local mechanic for half that price.I would not recommend this dealership or their service.
Had a appt for our 2019 Avalon tire rotation and pa inspection 15000k mile multi point service THEY NEVER ROTATED TIRES.... So this meant another trip back to dealership. Mike Roth was aware of this issue we asked for a phone from him and we have never received it. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME WE HAD ISSUES WITH THIS DEALERSHIP IN THE SERVICE DEPT.
We had so much fun buying our first Honda ever at Preston Honda in New Castle, PA! We test drove one on a Weds took home a new one on Friday! Our salesman Paul Markarevich was so very pleasant, with us and told us everything and more that we needed to know to start driving our new Orange- 2020 HR-V EX. He was very friendly, funny, attentive, answered any questions we had and got us a great deal. He even set up my old flip phone for me to the cars computer. He didn’t even mind it when I jumped to 65 mph on a test drive. LOL. Everyone there was so friendly and talkative, thanking and congratulating us on our new car. Even the other salesman were chatting us up. Josh our Finance guy got us through all the paper work in 15 minutes. It was incredibly fast. And since we bought a new car we get FREE PA state inspections and car washes for as long as we own the car, and the first 2 oil/filter changes are free as well! You just can’t beat this. I went and got my Jeep at the Preston on Wilmington Rd by the hospital back in October 2019, was in an accident this month and unfortunately totaled it. I went in and explained my situation and they went above and beyond for me! I went in Saturday February 15th and they didn’t stop working and trying so hard to help me get into another Jeep!! I absolutely love my Jeep and am so thankful for them! I HIGHLY recommend them!

My wife put an application in for a car, after 3 days of back and forth, we were not approved for financing. That is not the dealers fault and that is not why I’m rating them this low. When you start this process they blow your phone up, they call every hour till they can talk to you, but once they don’t get an approval, no calls no text messages. We had to contact them! I’m in the sales and service business and when we can’t help our customer, we at least have the common curtesy to call them first. Poor business manners as far as I’m concerned.

I recently had my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee at Preston Auto Body for repair. It was a terrible experience from start to finish. I made several phone calls to the body shop and left multiple messages to even get an appointment scheduled. When I picked up my vehicle I was not pleased with the work and asked to have an employee look at the car with me. This employee told me the damage I was complaining about was most likely just as a result of a flaw to the vehicle when bought it and I was just noticing it now. The manager got involved; however he didn’t want to hear my side of the story and just went by what the employee told him. He gave me a dirty loaner car to drive home for the evening promising me he would call first thing the next day. At 11 am I still hadn’t heard from him so I called him. I was given more run around. Later in the day I picked up my vehicle in satisfactory condition. I contacted upper management to resolve my customer service experience but have not received any sort of follow through.

He gave us a great price, he found our dream truck for us and brought it in the next day! I was completely satisfied with the experience and cant wait to buy another car from him in the future. Seriously ask for Matt! Also a total family man and easy going, didnt come off as pushy or shark like most of the salespeople you encounter. He was upfront the whole time. We must have been to 10 different dealerships and this was the best experience by far.

Preston sold my phone number to car warranty companies, ever since buying here i get daily spam car warranty calls from different numbers. I called them to try and resolve this issue many times and i was always sent to a voicemail with no call back ever, im assuming they deal with this complaint alot. WOULD NEVER BUY FROM HERE AGAIN.

10 years ago the sales person at Preston Motors told me he wouldnt give me his best offer till I brought my husband in. No, I didnt buy a car at Preston Motors and wasnt thrilled when recently my husband found a car there he wanted to buy. When I entered the finance office the finance officer, shaking her hands around, says Id shake your hand but I just painted my nails. Step it up, Preston Motors. This is the professionalism customers receive from an establishmentwhere they are spending thousands of dollars? The rest of the interaction was mediocre. The salesperson was helpful, friendly, professional though so he saved you from lower than a three.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They want your money and dont care about anything else! Took my car in for service and it was damaged while in their care. When I brought it to their attention, they blew me off, and didnt call me back. I called the manager and advised when I would be in, and when I went in, the manager had already left. I spoke with 2 other managers on a Tuesday, and today, (Friday) still no call. I had to go in to be told they dont know how it could have happened and werent going to help. POOR customer service all around! Not only do they not care about their clients, but they never call you back and address your concerns. The manager told me to leave when a lady who was standing very close to me was staring at me and I begin to tell her about my experience, and when I mentioned talking to the owner, the manager said Im having dinner with him tonight, I will talk to him. (In a very sarcastic and demeaning manner) Great, probably another one sided conversation.
Preston has our lost business and our referrals. After purchasing our vehicle there we found it to be unreliable. We took the vehicle back to Preston two or three times and found that their repairs were usually followed by another vehicle failure, and they were very expensive. After our last issue we brought our vehicle in for an estimate. Two days later we received our estimate and it was far more than we could afford to pay to get our vehicle up and running again. We decided to tow it away. They then CHARGED us for the estimate. Even after we explained we could not afford the repair. Thanks guys. Well make sure to steer our neighbors clear.

I visited several dealerships prior to purchasing my new car. Most salesman rub me the wrong way, but when I met Larissa Stefano, I found a salesperson who was friendly, honest, and efficient. Really disappointed with their dodge service center. I don’t know if it’s being short handed, lack of communication or what ever but it sucks making an appointment for a 1-2 Hr quick kit job and oil change Friday and being told not to expect it till early-mid next week. Second, the website phone numbers are so messed up it takes 2 or three attempts to reach the person you need to reach. The 3 vehicles I bought from them were good vehicles though. It’s the service center that irritates me.

I actually made the wrong turn into the dealership, and decided to stop in and take a look at some cars. I found one that I absolutely loved, and the next day I purchased it! Do not buy a vehicle from this place! I bought a used truck from here for $12K and 70K miles. Truck looked like it was in good condition. Seemed like a good deal. As soon as I put anything in the bed, the truck would make a rattling noise really bad. Took it back to Preston twice! to fix the problem (Preston is an hour and a half from me each way). They tried manuvering the exhaust system because they said it was rattling on the driveshaft. Still didnt fix the problem and I was not taking it back there again. Took the truck to my honest and trusted mechanic and he noticed right away that it needed shocks and was sitting too low. How can a dealership not recognize that a vehicle needs something as simple as shocks? Also had to get the exhaust leak fixed on BOTH sides. Very expensive. They also had tires on the truck that were too big and not an option for what the truck called for. Every time you turn the wheels they would rub and bang up the wheel wells. In the winter when its cold the truck stalls out every time you pull up to a stop sign or red light, and I cant find a mechanic to figure out that problem. One time when I was driving my tire rod snapped and I lost control of the vehicle. Thankfully I didnt wreck and no one got hurt. Now Im at the biggest expense this truck has cost me: Replacing the radiator and getting the transmission completely rebuilt. I have not even had this truck for a full year yet. These were just the most major problems; Ive had countless other problems with this truck. The only positive experience I had with this place was with the salesman. He was very nice.
Took my car up there in October 2019. they told me I needed new rear brakes so I went out purchase new brakes had someone I know put them on that used to do state inspections ..they told me those brakes were still good at less half and the car should of passed. Preston said in April 2019 my brakes were 7mm on all 4 of them ...good for rear is 4mm and higher., 3mm is okay, 2mm or less is bad.I put 3000 miles on my car lol there is no way it went from 7mm to 2mm. I am so glad i do not have to trust what they say..uf I was a single women or someone that trusted them..they would of put new brakes on my car and charged me for something that didnt need done.
From my experience so far I was having work done on a vehicle.I had one job done and was charged what I was quoted BUT, I went to have something else done and was quoted a price for the job last month, they called and said the price will be double what I was told. I feel it was like a bait and switch type deal.
BUYERS BEWARE. These people are not to be trusted. They have tried using the Bait and Switch method on two of my family members. Thank goodness I was with them both times the salesperson changed the advertised price. They deserve a minus 5 review. I will never step foot on a Preston lot again. There is no Presto price as advertised. Terrible company with no dignity. I feel sorry for a lot of the employees who work for them.
My wife and I had the misfortune of going there for a car and we ended up with a car in the color we didnt want and paying a ridiculous amount of interest on top of it all. Its been a long 4 years of payments. We will never buy from them again.

Would not recommend this group of sales staff at all. Sold a car right out from underneath me. Had submitted paperwork and had guaranteed financing from my personal bank. The day I went down to dealership to let them know I was picking up the check from my bank in the afternoon they told me they sold the car the night before. Most ignorant people I have ever met. I guess they dont like outside financing because they cant make as much money as if they finance through one of their lenders.
Will never recommend anyone to the Nissan dealer I bought out my lease and they added on 4 grand to total price for fun. I feel royally screwed and will warn people away from them
Prestons master mechanic couldnt find the vibration in my Tacoma. They ended up balancing tires for $80. They said they took it for a test ride and it was fixed. Vibration got worst. I took it to another mechanic who found a bad U-joint within one minute of a test ride. They never did take it for a test ride afterwards!
I took my 2010 tacoma in for frame inspection and undercoating, They mist 5 spots. .. the hole right rear frame rail. And when I told them about it, service manager said they do a lot of them, He got mad at me because I posted what they did on line, Then he told me to leave. Avoid their service departments at all costs. I took my car in with 9K miles on it for a simple PA state inspection and had to have the car towed out because they took it out for a safety road test for 7 undocumented miles and ruined the motor. Prestons customer service was terrible and they offered nothing to help correct the situation. I am making my story publicly known after giving them ample time to help make this right, and they have done nothing. I think the company slogan should be: Where you come LAST. I would not recommend this business to anyone. Avoid at all costs....my experience was horrible and I would not want anyone else to have to go through this.

This is the 3rd car I have purchased from Preston Motors.Overall I have had a great experience 2 out of the 3 times.I would buy another car from Prestons.
Wow....dont know where to start. We had a verbal agreement on a car and then scheduled an appointment and went there on Wednesday to find out they had relinquished on their part of the deal. After saying it was a deal breaker on our end after sitting for 45 minutes their sales manager Mark Root decided they would come to our original agreement. After all of this wasted time we could not stay because we had to get our kids off of the school bus at 3. We then scheduled an appointment for 2 days later on Friday. They ran our credit info on Thursday evening and we were approved. I then get a call to verify we would be keeping our appointment tomorrow, to which I confirmed we would be there. I then get a call at 8:15 stating they sold the car. Mark Munnell the salesman we had been dealing with said he was not there when the sold the car but that was a LIE he is actually the one who sold it to the other people. Found that out from Mark Root. When I called Mark Root today to Express my disappointment with the experience he did not even have the decency to hang up before he started to complain to another person about me. Talked with Bobby Preston with just being told sorry and thank you telling them about this to help improve their customer relations. If they want to improve their customer relations they need to get rid of Mark Root and Mark Munnell. They lie, change deals and sells cars from underneath of you. Long story short, dont buy from here.
Dont trust this company to hold to their word or their written email agreements. Had a deal agreed to in writing and then Preston Group Sales Manager, Tony Orlando sold the deal our from under me. No class and no sales professionalism.

Worst experience Ive ever had. They were supposed to replace my back fender in 1 week. When I called a week later they said it was going to be another 5 days because they needed to order a fender since trying to patch is didnt work. Then when I received my truck back, there was a big ding in the door that was there when I brought it in. Still in the midst of speaking with my attorney over this. There will be hell to pay.

Ok so I have to give a 1 star review. Weve never delt with Preston ever. No one in our family has. But today my wife got a letter with no return address, and inside was a newspaper page folded up with a yellow sticky note that said Alexandra check this out - Bobby. So of course neither of us have any idea what this is or who Bobby is untill I see on the paper it says President Bobby Preston. So really this is how you attract a new customer? A newspaper page with a sticky note that just says Bobby? Maybe Im over thinking it but to me this is no way to try and get a new customer and its actually very off putting.

Fair prices, courteous staff, clean showroom, TV area for children. The prices of car shopping is needlessly opaque and that was somewhat true here as well, but the overall experience was positive.

All I can say is if you purchase a car make sure its on the lot, we purchased a suv that was not on the lot, and not as I understood I was getting, my wife and I we looking at the 2014 Hylander and wanted the limited edition, we later decided cost was to much for our affordability, ok no problem, we then were told that we would be able to get the next model down, understand that model was not at the store but we had papers on it from a different store. the model down is a XLE model, all Preston had was the le plus model. my wife didnt like the colors either. when we went over papers for pricing we were under the impression we were getting the next model down (XLE) We actually got the same suv we were looking at on the lot. not the next model down as indicated by the sales rep. I would recommend a different Toyota dealer because of this issue, I will not be going back to shop there again.

I came in today for just an inspection....I waited 1 hour and 5 minutes.....the car is only 3months old....this was totally unexceptable..this should have been a 20 minute stop
