Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with this seamstress. My wedding dress fit me perfectly when I picked it up from by boutique. I had even lost 10 pounds since picking up the dress.At every alterations appointment with Houri, she told me I needed to lose weight and even took out an inch in my hips. I thought I would be getting nice cups for the dress, instead, she put flimsy white circle cups that are not substantial. They look like cups that go in cheap swimwear. You can clearly see them through the dress. I explained that the bust was too large on me and she acted like she couldnt take it in because of the design of the dress. The dress is supposed to be form-fitted, it is now loose is multiple areas, and isn’t flattering. I paid for the dress to look worse on me.Personally, I wouldnt recommend her to another bride. She made me feel terrible about my body. She even suggested that I should eat only a small amount to make sure I lose weight. I didnt feel beautiful in my wedding gown after this. I am extremely disappointed in this service and felt the need to put this out on google.I took my wedding dress to another seamstress and she is fixing all of the mistakes. Lesson learned.

Houri and her husband are the absolute best. Houri is so amazing at what she does and she is an expert in this field. They are so kind and genuine! My wedding dress needed to be hemmed and taken in-I know it had to be really difficult with the style of dress I had. It turned out perfect! I drove over an hour just to see her! I will never go to any other alteration shop! I can’t recommend this shop enough

The kindest couple runs this place and she does a great job! They moved across the street and google hasn’t updated it yet, so make sure you go to 2209 building on the second floor.

Went in to look for a bridesmaid dress for my friend, and we found the perfect dress within just a couple minutes! The shop owner was very kind. A latch had broken on the dress and she sewed it back on for us immediately and didnt charge anything for the fix. With just a little searching, you can find great dresses at fantastic prices here!

Phenomenal experience! I got my wedding dress altered here. The corset needed to be taken and the entire dress was hemmed to perfection. I was not only impressed by the quality of the alteration but also how quickly she was able to get it done. I felt so welcomed the second I walked in and the couple who own the business are the sweetest people!Originally I dreaded the alteration process after buying my dress because I heard how long the process would take. But life got away from me and I had 1 month before my wedding to alter my dress. On a whim I took my dress here and she finished the dress in a week! It was perfect when I tried it on after the alterations.She really listened to my vision for the dress and didnt force any alterations that I didnt want on me, which I really appreciated. The salon that I bought my dress from wanted to all kinds of alterations that made me uncomfortable. When I explained my situation she made it clear that it was my dress and ultimately its what I want.

Houri is exceptional at what she does! She is a true magician and can make something that doesnt fit whatsoever into the most flawless fitting piece youll love forever. Her talent constantly amazes me!

Called before I drove out there to see if they were accepting items. She said oh yes, bridal, cocktail, formal we are accepting. So I gathered my 3 dresses and drove the 30 min to their shop. She looked at the first dress, which had been taken in, and asked if it had been cleaned, it hadnt but it was only worn twice for about an hr each time, so it was clean. So she told me she couldnt sell it since it was dirty and taken in. Ok fine what ever. I said that would have been nice to know before I drove out here and her response was something along the lines of i should have asked. Well Ive never sold anything in consignment and you do this every day so you should give out that information. I just feel like that is information that she should have shared when i inquired about them taking items. Yes we take professional cleaned formal and evening wear would be a great response.The shop is small and didnt look like they had much of a selection. I wouldnt go back here.

I consider this the neighborhood greenhills alterations store. Family run. “Houri” and her husband are the owners. Houri is creative and can do whatever you need. She altered my Lazaro wedding dress with spectacular results!

I wouldnt go anywhere else! Thanks to Houri my gowns and appearance clothes fit perfectly and now look like they were made for me. Highly recommend and will go to her again for all of my alteration needs.
