Absolutely amazing place! The service was pleasant and kind. They really guided me a helped me find the PERFECT gala dress for my event. The prices are great for the value of dress you are getting. I havent found a better place in Nashville.

I found this store through google. I needed a last minute one of a kind dress for an event the following day. I had no idea what to expect. This place was everything I needed and more. I recently lost 30lbs and was really anxious about sizing. The owners helped me pick out the perfect dress after sizing me up. I only had my best friend there with me to help pick out my dress but the owners helped be my hype squad when it came to picking out the perfect dress for my body shape. Lol we had a lot of fun and I found the perfect dress. I can’t recommend this store enough for anyone looking for a one of a kind affordable dress. The owners are fabulous and I will be coming here for every future formal event.

While on a weekend trip to Nashville to celebrate my birthday, I decided to visit this bridal shop due to them having cheaper/discounted dresses. This was the very first experience I had trying on dresses and it was a disappointment. When I first got there, it took forever for anyone to help us. I browsed and looked at dresses and picked some out to try. Still no one came to help so someone in my bridal party let them know we were waiting to be able to try on dresses. Finally a lady came. She did not help me get in the dresses, instead one of my bridesmaids helped me the entire time. Also, I picked out multiple dresses but the lady put a lot of them back because “the size would be too small” however, she grabbed a dress in the same exact size but over $1,000 for me to try on, and guess what? That size fit me. I even found a dress that was gorgeous to me but she put it back because “it was not a wedding dress but more of a formal/prom dress”?! The entire time she kept grabbing expensive dresses I never picked out to have me try on instead of the ones I liked. Overall, if you want to find a dress that’s cheaper than it’s normal retail price, this is a good place to go. However, if you’re expecting a wonderful experience and great customer service, don’t come here. The next day I went to a popular dress shop and was blown away by the difference in customer service and the care the ladies showed me. So, please, don’t come here for your first experience trying on wedding dresses.

Went to Nashville with my family to celebrate my birthday and look for wedding dresses. I had 3 appointments for that Saturday and this was my second one. I was extremely disappointed in the customer service and experience at Southern Belle Rose. We went to USA bridal first and the lady there was extremely helpful with picking out dresses in my budget, getting the dress on and clipping it to make it look it’s best. She also made me comfortable…This was the complete opposite.. got there and at first the lady seemed like she would be somewhat helpful. The first dress or two she helped zip me up then it was like she disappeared.. my mom had to give me the dresses and put them back on a rack & she also had to zip me up. I wasn’t feeling some of the dresses (most are traditional looking dresses) and while I was changing she asked my group if I “had no style?”… I find that extremely rude. We all felt uncomfortable. I would skip this place if you want a good bridal experience.

I was in Nashville searching for a pageant gown and was blown away by how rude the person working here was. He asked me my size and refused to believe me. He actually tried to arugula with me. He told that size was for little girls. I had just spent 2 hours at another Gown shop that was fabulous but I wanted to keep shopping around. The gowns I tried on there were the same size and they fit fine. I know what size I am!! He was not helpful at all and treated me like I didn’t belong there. Will not be coming back here.

I cant express enough how much I LOVE this store and the great owners!! They truly take care of each guest that comes in and treats them with the upmost respect. No matter what event youre attending, they are always there and have a wonderful selection of dresses to choose from. Ive bought my prom dress from them and have bought my wedding dress from them that I cant wait to wear in April! I will definitely be shopping here for future events and will happily refer anyone and everyone who wants a great experience to Southern Belle Rose!

Our ONLINE experience was amazing! Shipping was extremely fast. Garment came as indicated. Nothing but good things to say about the ONLINE experience.

They must have really good business since they act like they don’t want to sell anything. I took my daughter in and he pointed us to the size we needed said pick out up to six and try one. She picked 3 and they where absolutely no help. The man and women where in the side room working in dresses with the door cracked. No one else in the shop. At one point I even said loudly “excuse me I’m not sure how to lace this up” no response. I’ll take my money elsewhere

We found the perfect wedding dress at a small boutique but the size of the dress and the price were not desirable. After searching online for the dress maker and model we found it at Southern Belle Rose. The dress arrived 4 days after our purchase and it is perfect. Brand new and in perfect condition!

Best place in Nashville......Nina is amazingly gifted, not just as a seamstress, but knowing what style dresses show off any figure to advantage. Nina redesigned my wedding dress, after I was sent wrong one, with no time to spare into an even more magnificent dress. Ive taken several friends there who have been treated to Ninas first class attention to details and loving care, finding the perfect wedding dress of their dreams.... its very clear that Nina loves what she does.

This place is AMAZING and saved me from losing my mind :-)Here is my story-Im traveling to the other side of the globe for a wedding. On black Friday I bought a dress from Adrianna Papell for a good price (I was very excited about it) and fabric to add sleeves.A friend recommended that I should try to go to Southern Belle Rose and it is ONE OF THE BEST recommendations I ever received! The minute I walked in I know it is the right place :-)Nina was super creative, patient and helpful!!Everything was ready on time and professionally. I went to Southern Belle Rose with a friend who had purchased a dress for her upcoming wedding. She needed something more conservative then she was able to find and needed to have fabric added to the back as well as additional buttons and basic alterations. We had tried several other bridal shops in Nashville and no one was able to do the alterations she was requested. Nina offered several options, and the finished product was absolutely beautiful And very reasonably priced. . They also have really beautiful wedding dresses in the store, as well as formal dresses for all occasions. Highly recommend!!

Very great, fast, and speedy customer service!! I am in love with my purchase! I was searching everywhere for my dream veil and found it at Southern Belles online shop. The ordering process was super fast and within a week my veil had made it all the way to California.

Wedding dress shopping as a plus size girl is already a daunting task. When I walked in, it had taken a lot of effort to want to go into this establishment at all. I was met by a very unwelcoming woman who brushed me to the back and told me to look around. I did, assuming she must have another customer in the back that she was tending to. However, she found me ten minutes later, looked me up and down, and said I was in the wrong section. I wouldnt find anything there.She gestured to a small rack in the corner and said, These are the ones youll be able to try on. I tried to shrug it off, hoping she meant well even if it came off aggressively.I did not get this womans name. She helped me into three dresses total before telling me she didnt have anything else I could look at. So I packed up, and left. It took me months to walk into another bridal salon.I initially wrote a two star review, because there were three dresses I COULD try on, but after further thought, reduced it to one. I should not have had to apologize for wanting to spend money, and should not have to apologize for my body. Hugely disappointed in this store. Do not go here unless you fit a small sample size, and even then I cant promise great customer service.

Nina was absolutely wonderful at this store when I went to try on bridal gowns. As another reviewer mentioned, she was patient with me (I take a LONG time to make decisions) and listened carefully to what I wanted. But she also suggested some silhouettes that I wouldnt normally try on--and Im so glad she did! It was so beautiful it immediately became my favorite. Nina took a lot of time with my appointment--I never felt rushed. She is obviously dedicated to helping you find the right dress for you. Id recommend this place to anyone!

I was beyond impressed with Southern Belle Rose. The owner is a master at her craft and is an expert seamstress. I looked at many places before finding my perfect dress at this boutique. Her dresses are one of a kind, and it was hard to choose between my top two! I selected an ivory, silhouette gown with multiple layers of lace and blush undertones. This dress radiates vintage elegance, which is exactly what I was going for. I had checked many other shops, and alterations costs were ridiculous! The owner at Southern Belle Rose alters the dresses herself, and they truly fit like a glove. I personally do not recommend Davids Bridals. Treat yourself to something original, not-to-mention Davids Bridals wanted to charge me $600 in alterations that were not guaranteed (whatever that means)!The owner of this boutique is reliable, with incredibly fair prices. You wont be disappointed.

Excellent dress shop and alterations. I live in Murfreesboro and started my search there, but after finding a dress that I was pretty set on, I thought maybe I should just try one shop in Nashville to make sure. I am so glad I did! Not only was the dress I found better, it was less expensive. It is a small shop, but they have an amazing amount of beautiful and unique dresses, many at affordable prices. On top of that, Nina did an amazing job with the alterations and kept working with me until the dress was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend this shop and its excellent owners.

Nina has been my go-to seamstress for ALL of my clothing needs! Im a short woman so I often need my pants and dresses/skirts hemmed. Nina gets them done in less than a week no matter how many u drop off at a time! She also had beautiful dresses and does very nice alterations for them as well. Ive purchased a formal dress from her that needed alterations as well as I had her customize it in the back and it came out BEAUTIFUL! Everyone loved it! It was like out of a fashion magazine! I dont know who can do alterations better than Southern Belle Rose

This is by far the most extensive, unique selection I have found in Nashville. Nina has custom made my vow renewal gown, altered several bridesmaids dresses and benefit gowns. She has never, never been late for my occasion and she has allowed me to design these dresses to my exact liking. The staff has always been exceptional when I have been there even during busy times such as prom and wedding season. I only shop at Southern Belle Rose because of the outstanding customer service and reliability they have always provided me. Nina continuously stays within my budget and offers suggestions with my best interest at heart. I recommend Southern Belle Rose to anyone for any occasion. There is so much inventory and Nina will help you find exactly what you are dreaming of.

My daughter and I decided to drive to a few formal wear stores to look for prom dresses this past Saturday. SBR was our third stop. Weve never shopped at specialty stores like this, so it was an interesting day. Walking in to SBR, they were busy, but the owners were nice and offered to measure my daughter so she would know the best size to try on. After that, we found the section to shop in and she picked out a few dresses. Even though they were busy, they found her a dressing room and even helped with some minor zipper issues while she was trying on the dress. In the end, she found one, the shop ordered it for her in a different color, and now we are just waiting for it to come in. All in all it was a five star experience, especially considering how busy they were. My daughter is a senior, and I want every senior experience to be as great as it can, and SBR did not disappoint her. I feel as if they went out of their way to assist us. Also, I noticed them helping other clients at the same time. Their size range was great and they had a lot of styles in stock. I highly recommend Southern Belle Rose.

Nina expertly altered my silk wedding dress and I have been returning to her for alterations to my formal gowns ever since. Shes both taken in and let out dresses as my weight has gone up and down. Works me into her schedule quickly, alterations always completed on time or early, and pleasant too, most highly recommended.

Nina is so efficient, we were in and out of that store within 35 minutes. Got the brides mothers dress and the grooms mothers dress. Believe it or not, the prices here are better than what you would find elsewhere. Even the rush charge is much less than other stores. So excited to get this done and to have Ninas help.

I would highly recommend Southern Belle Rose! I visited several other dress stores in Nashville looking for a recital dress and was not even greeted when I walked in the front door of the other establishments. The girls at Southern Belle Rose were super friendly and willing to help me find exactly what I was looking for. I fell in love with a gown that was too small for me, and the owner worked with me to get one ordered in the size I needed in a short time frame. When it came in, the alterations she did made it a perfect fit. The prices were reasonable, in my opinion, as several other stores I visited that day I had to walk right out of as their gowns started at $700-800. Overall, a great customer experience, and I own a beautiful gown that I will be able to use for many more performances!

Terrible experience. We were there to find a dress for my daughters senior prom. She was looking for a Sherri Hill dress. The gentleman working did not offer to help her find it. She finally found it however it was the wrong color. I asked if there any additional as we were looking for another color. He said no, brushed me off and didnt even offer an option to order the dress. So we decided to look at what the store had to offer. My daughter had tried on just a few dresses (4) when the gentleman working said to me that he cant have her try on anymore because its to much to keep pulling dresses because of the wear on them. Then he said to me maybe she should just put her clothes back on and find something else. (Please keep in mind we were the only customers in the store.) A day that was supposed to be special had left my daughter feeling terrible about herself and her experience.

Very nice selection of dresses, most very reasonably priced. Alterations done in house, bought my daughters dress on Sunday and was able to pick it up on Wednesday. The lady working there, which I assume was the owner was very very helpful.

They had nice dresses and good prices but the lady suggested I try on one dress and she didn’t even help me into it which it was a complicated style. She wasn’t very friendly or helpful so I just left and would just assume go to another salon.

Beautiful dresses, horrible customer service.At a time where most girls want to feel beautiful while finding her dress for prom. This woman that runs this place will look dead at you and tell you you don’t look good in a dress you love.She will tell you to your face that your too big for a dress, she will stand there and stare at you while your talking to your family and friends. It’s just an awkward not good experience all around.We and several people I know have chosen to purchase elsewhere due to this behavior.Won’t be back.

My daughter made an appointment 2 months ago for her special day of wedding dress shopping and when we got there after trying the first dress on there were several people back in the bridle area trying on prom dress and it totally ruined the experience. There is no room to try on dresses. We walked out.

Very dissatisfied with the service received here. We had an appointment for Bridal gown fittings. When we arrived, there were only two employees working at noon on a Saturday. The lady was working with another bride and both parties had to share a tiny room with one mirror and three chairs. The woman did not help us find dresses, try them on, nothing. As we were putting our dresses into one of the two tiny dressing rooms, they sent someone into our dressing room to use it. Very unprofessional. Do not recommend.

Updated: i appreciate the reply SBR, but i don’t appreiciate made to feel in the wrong about selecting dresses that i LIKED over dress that would fit me. I never once looked at the sizes until entering the fitting room. I assumed they would work. Of course you can imagine how defeating is it when you can’t try them on (the purpose of my visit to your boutique). I suppose it was bad luck that of the 8 dresses i pulled all of them didn’t fit me. It would be hard to “say yes to a dress” or even find one that you like without being able to try it one first. Exactly why I wasn’t able to purchase a dress from you.I decided to wait a week after my appointment at Southern Belle Rose to post a review. I took that week to decide if the experience was a terrible as I thought it was and the answer is still yes! I walked into the boutique and was greeted by the consultant. I let her know that I had a bridal appointment at noon and she points me towards a small room packed with gowns. I would tell you her name, but unfortunately she never introduced herself or asked my name. I thought it seemed strange, but didn’t think too much about it. We pulled a few dresses to try on and to my surprise nothing was larger than a size 8! For those who don’t know, bridal gowns are sized much larger than they actually are, so the ones i selected were all around a size 2-4. Sadly i wasn’t able to get more than 1 gown over my head! Not once did the consultant suggest an alternative! I left Southern Belle Rose in tears and begged my family to take me home. Thankfully they didn’t and i was able to try on MULTIPLE dresses at another boutique and ultimately ended up designing a custom dress! Please don’t waste your time at SBR unless you want to leave feeling completely defeated and terrible about yourself.

Ok so if you attend alot of functions or formal dinners. I highly recommend checking this boutique out. Its a small store but has a great variety. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere was great. Friendly associates but not to pushy. They are there if you need help but also give you time alone to shop. I would definitely recommend to others. Very pleased

Never spoke a word to us from the time we entered the store. We were on our own. I dont want someone to follow me around but at least acknowledge and direct us.

These people were very disrespectful. I went in there with my friend and he said we can only try on 3 dresses because we didn’t have parents with us not knowing how old we were or what we were looking for. He just saw the car we were driving. They also have no pretty dresses .

I went to Southern Belle Rose looking for the perfect prom dress. As this was the first store i tried i went in hoping to have a great experience as seen on tv; the happy sales support, the big selection. Not exactly what it turned out the be. Nina didnt seem very interested in helping when i entered and her personality was very displaced however she was foreign so that could just be the way she acts. After i found a dress i was interested in she then deciced to give her say. She also added that she knew exactly what alterations i would need but i felt i didnt want to rush it. i left her my number and the next day she called back saying that the price of the dress i was interested in would drop about $75-100 that day and if i wanted it she remembered what alterations i needed. i decided i would look some where else i wasnt too convinced that was the dress for me or the place to shop it definitely was not the SOURTHERN hospitality i was expecting but for anyone interested id say to give it a try, you may have a better experience than i
