Spent the day shopping around for boots. First went to Trail West, Cameron took the time to explain all the different kinds of boots, what the different materials were - all the exotic kinds, everything. It was so informational and not pushy at all.Left, continued to go shopping but ended up back at Trail West. Cameron again was awesome at helping my fiancé find a pair of boots he really liked. When he took a break Lindsey was awesome as well. She helped us with the fitting & home care. Honest & straightforward. Both of the staff we worked with were amazing. High quality boots aren’t cheap and you want to make sure they fit well & will last. With discounts prices were reasonable.Great experience would recommend them to anyone!

If you are looking for boots, this is the best place. Two stories of boots and apparel, and the best deals downtown. The sales people are really nice, and the clearance items are upstairs.

We stopped in Nashville so Dale could complete his outfit for the Kentucky Derby. After 3 stores, we wound up here. We cannot say enough nice things about our salesperson, Cameron. Dale is extremely picky and OCD! Cameron found him the perfect pair of boots, the hat he was looking for, matching belt and the perfect white shirt! Keep this guy....he is fantastic!

Incredible selection, great prices on some of the top of the line boots and hats. Personally want to thank the staff for going above and beyond for my wife. She seen these boots and couldn’t pull the trigger. Days later she was beating herself up about not getting them. Decided to reach out to them and surprise her. The gentleman that helped me was very helpful. Found the boots, gave me an even better deal and shipped them to me in Florida.Thank you!!!! I would highly recommend them for all your attire. They will not BS you and if they don’t have what you’re looking for they can point you in the right direction.

This is a great place to buy boots. I went to every boot shop in downtown and ended up buying here. Their customer service is outstanding. Their selection of QUALITY boots is far superior to other boot shops. I would recommend this shop to anyone!

Caveat emptor....This store has a huge selection and attentive staff. And youll find storewide sales like todays. 1st item 30 percent off. 2nd item 40 percent off. 3rd item half off.Its so good you wont actually pay attention to the sticker prices. And the prices are inflated as much as double MSRP. Even with the discounts expect to pay way over.I was shopping for some black Ariat boots. Found them but they didnt have my size. So I happened to snap a photo of them so I could come back later and ask if they had any more in stock and the price. They had them for $249. Then looked on Ariats website. A quick google search will show that exact model/sku/UPC number retails MSRP for $159 at Ariats stores. $149 at Boot Barn and Cavenders. Even if it was my 2nd 40 percent discount item the discount would only get me back to what I would pay at Boot Barn down the street! Id get a deal if it was the 3rd item but only after getting totally scalped on the 1st item. Classic tourist trap bait and switch!I was spared paying $100 over retail for boots. However my wife did buy me an embroidered Scully shirt for $119 after discounts. Its an awesome shirt, that would cost about $90 anywhere else. They run the same scheme at their other 3 stores too. The same company also owns Bettys and Big Time Boots.Check competitors prices before you buy because they have no refunds signs posted all over the checkout counter. Shame because their selection is great.

Staff is not only lazy but unwelcoming. Having been sent from their sister store I guess I shouldn’t have expected anything better! More concerned with their phones than treating their guests with hospitality. Ridiculous!

Me and my girlfriends had been looking for a pair of boots and most of the shops were over-priced and busy. Then we came in Trail West, Bird helped Me and my friends all find the perfect pair of boots. Bird was so personable, so nice, and, incredibly knowledgeable. We werent from the area and he still knew what kind of boots we would need and how to care for them properly and how to find the perfect fit. I would 100% recommend Trail West for anybody looking for a good pair of cowboy boots at a great price. Shout out to Bird!

Best boot shop we visited. Name brand, quality boots and great staff. A young man helped us out, I should have gotten his name. He was great, patient, and attentive but not pushy. We left with two pair.

TLDR: Go somewhere else as a slow hothead clerk talked about me behind my back and then attempted to pick a fight with me while I was paying for my boots.Long version:Was in town attending a Christmas party being held near this store, we were running late and I had forgotten my shoes so I walked into a place with a sign on the door advertising a cheap price for boots ($69 or $79) and said were late for a party, my date is angry and I need a cheap pair of black boots extremely quickly to three guys standing behind the counter. Two of the guys looked to the third and he slowly began to explain the difference between cheap and inexpensive... I interrupted and told him I understand boots and the fact that you get what you pay for, that I only needed black shiny things for my feet, that I didnt care about quality or fit and time was all that mattered. He then leaned back on the counter behind him and began talking instead of moving. At this point I asked one of the other guys if he could help and one of them immediately exited the register area and pointed the way. At this point the third guy began to get confrontational, but I was already moving away and paid it little attention until later. After being shown several boots in the $300 to $600 range I told the helpful salesperson I didnt have time for proper shopping, that didnt even care about fit and that I might not ever wear these again so he led me to some cheaper boots where we quickly found a pair of $126 black boots that were only a size and a half larger than what I needed.Perfect right????It should have been, but ohhhh hell no....Upon returning to the front of the store, the clerk whod initially begun trying to slowly upsell me on expensive boots was extremely livid about having his feelings hurt.I was dismissive, in a hurry and he was mad...According to my girlfriend (whod waited by the register) he called down a muscular guy from upstairs to back him up and when I walked downstairs in my new boots with wallet in hand he stood in the big guys shadow and lit into me. And he lit into me big time...Im man enough to recognize my faults and will own when I have been rude to others, but when I said something like sorry dude, Im in a hurry and just needed cheap fast boots, not a long explanation he told me he didnt accept the apology because I didnt mean it and became more confrontational and insulting. My girlfriend later told me that he was so infuriated when I dismissed his lengthy sales spiel that he began saying demeaning/insulting/demasculating/etc. things to her and the other guy about me as soon as I turned my back and then proceeded to call down a sizable fellow from upstairs because he expected trouble. After the big guy showed up he continued this tantrum/tirade/whatever from behind the register for another few minutes until I returned. When she told me he was trying to pick a fight, I disagreed and her response was no, he wanted to fight, he was ready and when I laughed at the thought an angry little guy with sparkling hair coming at me she said why do you think he called down the big guy? (I didnt take note of a 4th guy until she brought it up)Luckily for the employers of this insecure kid, I actually was indeed in a hurry and proceeded with the purchase despite my desire to walk a half block to the place wed been referred to by our concierge.Luckily for everyone a real man doesnt fight over stupid things. If we did, wed live in a very different world. While I realize that old adage about the customer always being right has been tossed aside by most retailers, attempting to pick a fight with any customer, even one who interrupts, is pathetic.Generally speaking, thick skin and an even temper are desirable traits in life, but they are an absolute must in retail and I hope this little hothead clerk finds something better suited to his demeanor/attitude.
