Michael did a fantastic job replacing my windshield. I scheduled service through my insurance (Progressive). The first opening was a week out, but it was worth it to have someone come out to my house. I didnt have to do anything. They gave me the service window of 8am-12pm. It was raining that morning so I figured theyd wait until it cleared. I got a call from Michael saying hed be there by 11 & he was. 30 minutes later it was fixed. The notifications and calls made it so easy.
These folks are professional, polite, and fast moving. I felt my car was well taken care of and the repair left me impressed. I dont know where the crack was anymore because I cannot see it at all! Great work, would highly recommend!!
2 stars because the work was done right and quickly. Would have been more but I was told when I came in they were closing @3:30 instead of 5 pm like Google showed. Had to rearrange my plans and leave a hockey game early because of that. They call me up at 3pm at the hockey game and offered to leave the keys on my tire. Because sure thats safe in the middle of downtown.Trying to call them back I got a corporate phone line apparently and she was unsure why they would close early either. Wouldnt recommend if you dont want to work 100% around their schedule, which is likely to change at anytime.
Pretty disappointed with this Safelite. After installing a new windshield on my car, the technician specifically said to leave the pieces of tape on the glass for 2 hours. It was raining, and the tape flew off about 15 minutes after I left. I called back and they said dont worry about it, its fine with the tape gone. Inconsistency like this is unprofessional in my opinion.

I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. I highly recommend that people avoid this company and location. My wife was trying to replace her broken windshield (which prevented her from being able to drive her car). We scheduled an appointment for someone from Safelite to come replace the windshield, and after confirming the appointment on the phone the morning of, no one showed up that day. We werent able to get in touch with anyone at the company for the remainder of that day after calling and messaging multiple times. Okay fine, not a huge deal, things happen.The next morning we were able to get in touch with someone and reschedule for later that day. The woman on the phone had no idea why we were completely ghosted the day before, but scheduled for someone to come by our house. The new appointment time rolls around, and lo and behold, we get ghosted again. Luckily we were able to get in touch an hour and a half after the scheduled time, and the woman on the phone this time said that whoever scheduled that appointment had marked it both as at the shop and at the customers location, when we were very clear that the car was not drivable, and we needed the technician to come to us. At this point my wife gets pretty upset and communicates as much, to which the woman on the phone replied, Im sorry you feel that way, have a nice day.Meanwhile my wife is without her car and needing get to work, and we are in need of replacing the windshield ASAP so that the car can be drivable so that we can take it to get a quote for the rest of the damage to make a claim for insurance. All in all, Safelite has prolonged this process unnecessarily and handled it in a way that we wont forget. We are never going to use this company again, and would recommend caution when using them if youre in any sort of hurry. 0 out of 5 stars.
I scheduled on-line for a late afternoon appointment...got there early. They started right away instead of making me wait. I was told maybe an hour wait.....30 minutes later my tech was finished! Young lady at the counter could not have been any nicer!I had the best glass replacement experience Ive ever had. First time with Safelite.Will definitely be back if I need to....
Went through the process to get a quote online for a windshield repair. Followed the parameters given (smaller than 6”) and even sent photos to make sure it would be able to be repaired vs. replaced. Set up an appointment 2 weeks out and had to take the day off work to schedule around their appointment. Got to the business to find out that not only can they not repair it, but the cost to replace is SIGNIFICANTLY higher than all the other quotes in the area. So much time wasted because of their unprofessional model. Will not return.
Remind them to hook your windshield washer fluid sprayer back up. They still wont. But that was just my experience both times I visited. Other than leaving tools in the vehicle both times as well everything was great. Oh and aside from mobile tech cancellation because I didnt have a cover area, when booking it asks you, if you have a cover area available, I said NO. But somehow that was a surprise to the tech and he canceled. Great Glass. Seals doing well. Not covid conscience not a mask in sight. Not a big deal to me but to you all at high risk maybe leave your key in your car and beat on the door because you probably wont be able to reach the Cowan st location in Nashville by phone. Their system screens out numbers not booked that day. Cool system. The reviews are accurate read them all. Just go online to schedule warranty repair may wait several more weeks. Great warranty, amazing really. They will fix the issue, according to Google reviews they will fix it even if it takes several appointments! Last tip, bring cleaning supplies to clean the debris off your dashboard after the service. And adhesive remover for the lower tape marks ;) good luck.

UNPROFESSIONAL!! Technician never showed up for a scheduled appointment, no apology, no explanation. When we tried to reschedule (and lose a SECOND day of work), the associate acted as if we were the inconvenience. Get it together, this is the WORST customer service.
They were unable to fix chip after i prepaid for service. Tried to charge me an appointment cancelation fee even though I made the appointment in which they said they couldnt fix my windshield. They were unable to start the refund process at the desk and had me call customer service. Customer service is automated and has you do 5 steps before telling you it is unable to complete and hangs up. 20 minutes of circling around someone answers to transfer you to another department just to tell you they are only open 9-4, in which I started calling at 3:30 to get my refund, and got the closed message after 35 minutes of hoops at 4:05. Very disappointed in the company as a whole.
I had them replace my cracked windshield on a 2018 Tacoma. I drove my truck through some heavy rain about 3 days later and my truck started leaking water from under the glove box on some electrical wires and from inside the grab handle (weird). When I had my cracked windshield, nothing leaked. For a $1000+ service, you would expect these people to at check their work. Hell! The mold on the passenger side of my window is installed poorly. Tried calling them to schedule some warranty work, but they would not answer. Go somewhere else and avoid this shop. If you want to stick with Safelite, do not go to the Nashville shop.Message for Safelite Nashville: Time is of the essence for your customers. No one has time for second trips to your shop due to your sloppy work. Be better, especially that you have multiple complaints about quality of work.
There seems to be no way to talk to someone on the phone at my local Safelite shop. The service is completely automated. Good luck if you have any questions!
Had an appointment between noon and 5pm, never called, emailed or showed up. Cant get in touch with customer service. Definitely not paying 600$ for a windshield now. Do not use them. Trash unprofessional company
They are so great at glass, and great customer service, for being understaffed like everywhere... only took one day, made appointment day before online; dont try to call, the system doesnt connect you. Just do online, its quick & easy. Thanks Pete!

Had a small chip in the windshield, my insurance company sent safelite to check it out. Scheduled repair 2 weeks out with a 5 hour window.. tech shows to fill the chip and an hour later, it cracks the windshield. Schedule replacement windshield, another 2 weeks out and 5 hour window. I get called day of, an hour before possible arrival, and was told they can’t do it today and to reschedule for, you guessed it, another two weeks out.Cancelled repair, called another local service, I was in the books immediately in less than a week, with a couple hour window. Would not recommend.
Have tried to setup appointments in 3 different cities on my cross country road trip but each location is booked like 3 weeks out.When driving hundreds of miles weekly not being able to get a cracked windshield (that cracked while driving thru Texas) fixed is less than ideal
Good luck contacting anybody. They MIGHT be able to get out to you in 3-5 days when your rearview mirror falls off during rush hour traffic the day after they change your windshield, but they will hang up on you repeatedly if you try to call them to discuss it.
I would have chosen poor Communication for question 1 but they dont give you that choice.The commercial is misleading. Safelight wanted us to pay $100 up front to repair a tiny chip in our front windshield. So if you have Gieco for your insurance than you must pay $100 up front first before you get any help and that is just plain wrong. At that cost people might as well just buy a new windshield and skip discriminating safelight all together.
Too difficult to talk to a person, phone puts you back to website. ( Corporate) They billed my card before they did the service. And failed to bring the correct windshield TWICE. Then the service man left my rear view mirror detached, I had to ask them to send him back out to replace it. Asked for a refund and am now looking for another quote from a different company. I did have them replace my personal windshield a month prior to this, and everything went fine. So 50/50 chance of getting good service. Once I got on phone with an actual person in town, they were polite and accommodated my requests.
Said I lived to far away to come to me.Im sure they are good at what they do but I didnt want to drive 80 miles either.

Safelite replaced my windshield and windshield wipers on 6/14. On 6/21, the first day it rained since I got the windshield wipers replaced, I was driving when a monsoon came out of nowhere and I had to turn on the windshield wipers only to find that the windshield wipers would not move (despite my being able to hear the motor clicking).I called safelite immediately and they sent a mobile repair technician to my house. The technician’s assessment was that during the initial windshield and wiper replacement, the technicians who completed the job did something incorrectly and the wiper motor needed to be replaced but the parts would have to be ordered. Summary - they butchered the job and had to fix what they broke.I called Safelite on 6/22 and they said it would take a week for the part to come in. It’s now 7/1 and I haven’t heard ANYTHING from Safelite. I get put on hold for 15-30 minutes every time I call to get a status update; and they are never able to tell me when the parts will come in. On top of that they have no regard for the fact that I have to pay for a rental car because their mistake. They have not made any attempt to expedite the repair for a problem/damage that they are responsible for. I understand that errors happen and the job was butchered but you think they would do far more than they are doing now to amend the issue. You can’t go around breaking people’s cars and not do everything you can to fix it.

Agree with many of the 1 star reviews. Waited over two weeks for an appointment. They gave me a time window of 12-5pm, so I took a half day off work in order to get the repair done. Nobody showed up. When I called customer service, I was connected to a corporate office that said they couldn’t reach the local driver or manager. They should pay me for a half day of lost revenue, but of course they won’t. I’ll go to a local shop for my repairs next time.
Set an appointment and told them that I had a light bar that would need to be removed to install the windshield. They called two weeks ahead of appointment time to confirm and I again told the individual that I had a light bar removed and they stated that would not be a problem and if it was they could contact me ahead of time. Once arrived I was informed that they won’t remove light bars and that I had driven over 2 hours for no reason. Horrible customer service and the manager was useless and rude. Customer service woman was the only shining light in that she was friendly and apologetic. If I could I would have given 0 stars. Total waste of time.
Never showed up. Never contacted us or updated us. Called their office for an update/ explaination. Was put on hold while the technician was being called. Once reconnected was told someone from their office would reach out to me shortly. No one ever called. Thanks for the wasted day Safelite of Nashville.
I had a small chip in my windshield, passenger side. We immediately called to have it repaired. The technician came out and during the procedure the windshield cracked. They couldnt fit us in for a replacement windshield for 3 weeks. I made an appointment and came back early from my vacation to be home for the procedure. I received a text the day prior saying they would be here between noon and 5pm. No one showed up. I called the company and they said they could reschedule in 2 more weeks. Very unreliable.
Only do online appointments can’t get any person on the home to discuss price or anything. Very disappointed. Called multiple places wanting me to text them so I went professional and they can’t even answer a phone
Safelite did a terrible job on my window repair and came back out twice with the wrong part and has blown me off.I scheduled for Safelite to replace my front windshield for my 2009 Acura MDX on 6/8/2020. The tech named Daniel came out and bent both moldings on the car and left glue visible on the outer upper rubber molding which was crooked. I called the rep back and he said he would order the parts. Two days later another rep came back but did not have the moldings and said he needed to order the parts. I asked for the manager to call me which he did the next day and told me he would be contacting me after he spoke with his boss. On 6/22/2020 a different tech named Phillip came out with the wrong moldings for the car and left the car with the moldings bent worse and raised with a clear space between them and the car on both sides. They then decided to take the car to the Acura dealership for repair and never signed the authorization after more than 24 hours at the dealership. This has been the worst experience I have had with any business!
Way too expensive for a window motor and to install it on a 04 car.. I went to a enexpensive place in Nashville Tennessee that was 90 bucks, but I bought a brand new motor on ebay.
They provided a quick service and easy explanation of what they did.
On 4/22 I had an appointment at there shop. I had the windshield replaced in my Audi and Ram. Great experience from both vehicles. Last year I had the rear window replaced on my Ram truck at the Murfreesboro location and was also a great experience! They are busy and you will have to make an appointment a few weeks in advance.
Terrible and unprofessional I went up there to schedule an appointment for my window replacement . I was told my appointment was set I come for my appointment and then I’m told they could not find my appointment and they needed a part that takes a week to get there. I drove all the way up there just for them to tell me it would be another week.

This might be the worst experience I have ever had with Safelite. Backstory on the issue- I am having my windshield along with 2 other windows replace due to someone breaking into my car. This was about a month an a half ago. Appointment was last Tuesday the 6th. They called to canceled due to the windshield not being in just yet but said I couldn’t book a service until all the parts where in.. well. How the F*^# was I able to book the initial appointment? They mentioned the window was set to arrive on Friday. No call no email from the shop. I call in a few minutes ago and after being bounce around multiple times I find out that the shop did have the window now in stock and that they “called me” and left a message. I am very good with my phone and no message was left or no call was to my phone. Now I try to schedule an appointment and the next availability is 5/6.. so 2.5 months without a window. I would never recommend doing business with this shop again. Very poor experience. Auto glass now is who I am going with now.
Had a windshield chip fixed no problemThen I tried to have a windshield replaced. It took four times over almost 2 months and its still not done.1. No show and finally called at ~730pm to say they didnt have the glass.2. Tech cancelled mid morning because of a family energency3. Scheduled at shop and was told to wait 2 hours after the scheduled appointment time because of labor shortage4. No show. Called midway through the day and they couldnt get hold of the tech and then we got an after hours call at 5pm because they were held up at another job.The appointment window is 8am to 5pm. No shows cost you 9 hours of waiting each time. Any money you save here will be lost in frustration, time and gas spent.

Go to auto glass now on nolensville.Repaired a window for me once and everything was fine. This time however, I needed my windshield replaced and this included recalibration of an optical sensor. Due to snow on the roads, they said it might not recalibrate which is fine. They called and left a message stating so. When I got to the store they then told me that they canceled my appointment without telling me and that the only way I can get the work done is if someone cancels. My windshield is in very bad condition and is not safe to drive with, with multiple cracks spanning more than half of the windshield. They refused me service that would keep me safe and on the road. Never coming back.

I received a call an hour before they were scheduled to come out to let me know that they were going to have to cancel due to my installer being sick. We are in the age of that and I do understand that things happen. My issue is that I went back to the bottom of the list, and I had already waited 3-4 Weeks for my appointment. There was no effort to make arrangements to get a faster appointment. You canceled my appointment, you should cancel others to take your customers in the order they were booked. And to make things worse the customer service department on a National level is closed due to COVID. Come on thats a cheap way out of having to employ staff to handle the issues, you can answer calls for anywhere these days. Dont waste your time with this company pick any other one and BUY LOCAL!!!

It took two weeks to get a installer to replace our windshield but when they did arrive they were professional and did a great job.
I would NOT recommend this company, as Ive utilitzed them twice in just over a year (two different vehicles) and BOTH times expirenced significant issues. The first time, the technician ended up spending 6-8 hours to replace the windshield instead of the quoted 2-4 hours, and left glass ALL OVER my driveway! The second time, they were prompt and performed the work quickly, but the windshield has leaked and my car has a full smell of mildwew now! Also, GOOD LUCK getting in touch with HUMAN to discuss warranty service, and their automated systems dont provide ANY option to report a leaking window after replacment. I will not recommend this business to anyone, please seek a local alternative as Safelite are NO LONGER the professionsals they may have one been/claimed to be.

I scheduled my appointment a week ago, brought in the vehicle today and dropped it off for them to call me an hour later stating the part they were gonna use is broken and they dont know when theyll get a new one. They did advise if the part comes in soon that they are backed up til March 10th and theyre unsure if they can fit me in before then. Theyre the ones who screwed up my appointment by not checking if they had the right parts until day of appointment when I had scheduled it a week in advance, and they have done nothing so far to make it right. Waiting on a call back now to see if they will make this right. Definitely not a good experience.
Place comes off as very professional. Employees are friendly. Cost to repair chips out of pocket are a bit high considering the chip wont completely dissapear.

Somebody thought I had something valuable in my vehicle.They were wrong but that didnt stop them from chucking a rock thought window. Called my insurance companyThey set up the appointment with Safelite. When I got there they said it would take 1 to 1.5 hours to complete. Got it done in 1 hour including vacuuming all of the glass shards out of the vehicle. That was totally unexpected. Saw some that came in without an appointment and they worked with them to resolve their issues. Great service!

This place is absolutely awful. Their quality of work is sloppy and consistently a headache. Earlier this year, they replaced my rear window and when I arrived they put the wrong window in. They argued with me for a bit about it until I physical showed them what was wrong. Thankfully, they agreed and replaced it several days later and it looked decent.My significant other went there this year as well and within the hour of pick up, he received a phone call that his car had to be shipped off somewhere else because they caused more damaged to the car than it had gone in there with. If your insurance company recommends this place, request to have your car done elsewhere!

Ive seen them advertised on television so much I thought Id give them a try they wanted $339 to prepare my 1991 truck windshield however at the same time I got another quote from a local Donaldson repair company and they came over the next morning and within 20 minutes I had a new windshield for less than half the price. So I cant attest further workmanship or their product but I can attest that they are way overpriced especially when money is tight for a lot of people...maybe do less advertising and pass on the savings to the consumer these days

They done a very great job on our windshield. They were there when they said you were going to be. The technician jump right on it took care of it and under 30 minutes. Me and my fiance is very happy with it as results of what happened. They done a great job and a great place to do business with very nice people from the people who helps you get the appointment lined up down to the service guy who brings the wind out and puts it in the car. Very nice. Very good company.

If I could give a zero I would. Trying to get my windshield fixed for better part of a month. This is the second week in a row they claim they had my windshield but it arrived broke. of course not letting me know that they werent going to be able to fix it until after I walked a mile from the facility. I took the day off work thinking that this location versus the murphysboro location would actually be better. I will be letting my insurance company know that I will not be doing business with this company ever.When I picked up my car they gave me my key and said nothing. No apologies or we can rebook you later. They obviously didnt want my business. Not sure why Progressive deals with them which is what I told them.
I had the windshield of my Lexus replaced by Safelite. Nine months after installation the rubber seal began to flap in the wind! I called and the owner of the Nashville Safelite answered.He told me that my windshield was out of warranty after 10 days following installation and that I would have to bring my car to their shop in Nashville for to fix their mistake. After much persuasion, he agreed to call me the following week when their mobile guys were in Franklin to swing by and correct their issue! It’s been 6 weeks and I haven’t heard from anyone at Safelite...No wonder Safelite is rated so low. Look at who is running this office... I called Amazing Auto Glass in Franklin and they were at my house repairing Safelite’s problem within 30 minutes of phone call. Gilbert was very professional and knowledgeable. The repair was complete in 30 minutes. I will NEVER do any business with Safelite! I don’t care if my insurance recommends you! I have found my glass company, Amazing Auto Glass has superior customer service!!!

I used to think Safelite was the best at windshield replacement. Now not so much. They replaced my windshield and I noticed when my wife came home from Nashville after the replacement they put too much adhesive in the bottom driver side corner. The pressure ended up making the windshield crack. They told me a rock hit the windshield. First I would know if a rock hit the windshield and there is no small chip that a rock hit the windshield either. The crack started because they dont know how to install the windshield correctly. Safelite can always say a rock made it happen. Kinda like my dog ate my homework. These people do not stand by their work and will leave you hanging. They also did not install the rearview mirror correctly. I had to fix that myself. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! I am using another company to do it right this time.
Really awesome service. I had a crack in my windshield, and they came to my house (on time) to fix it for me. They had excellent communication (called me when they were on the way), were very kind, and they did it in under 30 minutes. The windshield looks great and has a nice warranty on it, too.

I need to be able to talk to a person - not all business can be performed online. What if my glass cannot be repaired - will the technician come onsite with a replacement glass? How does that impact the quote? I need to understand how much a service will cost before I waste everyones time having you out to tell me I should have gone with the dealership.If youre not taking calls, change your phone bank to hang up on me at the front end of the call rather than two prompts in. Your office is open, you have bodies in the store - put a phone in front of one of them...
The guys at Safelite made getting a new windshield such a quick and pleasant experience. Special shout out to Chris for coming back to finish fixing my mirror after the initial install. I would definitely recommend this team to anyone in the market for a quick and inexpensive fix.

I got my windsheild replaced in Wisconsin a few days ago. While traveling, I found out that the seal on it was not done correctly and it whistled as I got to higher speeds. I stopped in on my way through town and James, a technician, offered to stay late during his already packed schedule in order to get this fixed for me before my 10 hour drive tomorrow. I am SO appreciative of this customer service and would recommend this office and James to anyone!

I saw a promotion on Facebook for Safelite so decided to get my windshield crack repaired. They sent me an additional deal to replace my windshield wipers. They completed these tasks in a timely manner and held my car overnight until I could get there to pick it up the next day. When I got my final receipt, they had given me an additional discount! I would highly recommend this Safelite to anyone in the Nashville area.
I arrived about 15 minutes early and the technician was at lunch. When he heard I was there he came right on out. He disclosed what he was going to do and also explained with the crack in my windshield there still may be some visibility of the crack. He explained the length of time it should take. He finished earlier than expected and the crack had 90% disappeared. I was very satisfied and he explained if I have anymore issues with it to come back. He explained my warranty and also went over the no cost to me what was being billed to my insurance and the estimated cost to me if the windshield needed replacement in the future that the price paid by my insurance would then go towards the cost of a replacement. Very detailed and honest. Made sure my car was vacuumed and my seat and mirror was in my desired position. The office was clean and receptionist was very nice. In/out within an hour.
Very good service. Work was done well and quickly. Only real issue is that the back office doesnt allow you to change appointment location or time after normal working hours though their site says it does. Seems to be a disconnect between dispatch software and booking software.

Ethan stopped by to patch my windshield from a recent crack. He thoroughly communicated with me to make sure I was home; he was very kind; and he completed this task efficiently and professionally. I was very happy with my first Safelite experience!
Guy shows up 55 minutes late. Parked and said okay let’s reschedule. Rescheduled for the next day. Waited 4 hours and they never showed up.
Unacceptable customer service and even worse on their windshield selection system. Called for a windshield replacement, told them all of my vehicle information and the service rep proceeds to tell me shes sending me a tech with a windshield for a completely different vehicle model. I explained that she had the wrong model selected, but she insisted she was correct. When the technician called to verify our appointment, I even warned him that his windshield is not going to fit because the previous rep set me up with an incorrect model and that he should double check. He did not have access to change anything on his orders. Guess what, the windshield was too small - surprise surprise! I was told someone would call me to resolve the next morning, no one called. When I had to call them, the office rep was extremely rude and no one could give me an ETA on my vehicle. Not only did it not get resolved as promised on the date they said, now I have no idea when Ill have a vehicle because theyre still trying to verify the paperwork. When I asked to cancel my appointment, she proceeds to tell me that their dispatch team has 15 models to choose from and there is no way for them to know if its correct or not. So, I could potentially have 14 incorrect windshield before someone picks the correct choice? She could not give me a definite answer, bringing my business elsewhere.

Overall great experience. The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 star is the glass clean up was not done right. I found quite a few glasses around the seats and back foot area. But that’s not a big issue I just cleaned it myself after.
Terribly over priced. I work one building down and they wanted to charge me $115 to come fix a crack. No thank you.
