3 months with this phone screen and it’s completely glitching out and you can see glue all along the edges. Overall unimpressed, unfortunately nothing can be done because I’m not in town anymore so this review will have to do. For that reason, I wish I’d gone somewhere with more locations.

Went here to have my Iphone screen replaced prior to deploying. They had the cheapest prices in town. I went in and they said itd be an hour, I shouldve known better when it was done in about 20 minutes. I could tell right away it wasnt a quality job as i could see background behind the screen. But as I said i was deploying and had to leave town. Now that Im deployed my phone took one fall about 2 feet with an otterbox case and the screen was destroyed. Not one crack just a terribly installed screen. Half of the screen is black and the other half purple. Now Im deployed with no way to replace my screen. Pay the extra money and go somewhere else!

Knowledgeable, friendly and quick. I called and explained the issue I was having with my phone: the vibrate sounded like it was broken and making this terribly loud noise every time I hit the home button or someone texted/called.He instantly knew the issue... I was in and out within 10 minutes and it’s working again!!!!I’d recommend this place over any other phone repair place. Usually they’re short with words, can’t diagnose unless you go in, have your wait around and then they over charge you. Here, they know what they’re doing and have exceptional customer service.

I searched in google and found this place, they were the cheapest one. Couple days ago I visited the store and they fixed my iPhone 7 Plus screen. I would recommend to everyone, very friendly staff, and fast service. They fixed it while I was waiting, and they even let me watch how they are fixing. It was a nice experience. Also they have very nice selection of computers for sale. I would definitely visit again.

Great place. Came in with three tablets and thought there was something wrong. Instead of just taking the business and charge me for new charge ports he checked the tablets and found that there was nothing wrong and just the charging cable at fault. Besides that his prices are great. Wish we had more businesses like this. Super service. I will be back if I need something repaired or need accessories.

Took my I phone in, wouldnt charge up on any of my chargers, They cleaned the port out and said nothing was wrong, I wanted to replace the plug port and they said wait and see if it keeps working. I has been working ever since. They are honest and didnt try to up sell me anything. No Charge was the answer, WOW.The only place I wold go to in the future if any phone problems arise.

I thought I broke my iPhone screen. After reading all the positive feedback regarding MechaniComp’s service, I decided to bring it to them. When the shop technician looked at my phone he discovered that only the screen saver was cracked. The screen was fine and therefore did not have to be replaced. I bought a new screen saver. I highly recommend this shop. The technician was friendly, professional, and HONEST.

I called, they told me to come in. within 30 minutes they were done with my iPhone 7 plus screen.

My son spilled water on to my laptop and the laptop turn completely dead. I googled and checked around, they were the only ones fixing water damaged laptops. I went there and asked them how much it would be. They told me $65 if they can fix the motherboard, if they can not fix there is no charge. I loved the offer and dropped the laptop. Picked up next day it was like it never happened, everything is working and it only cost me $65, I have no idea how they did bring the dead laptop to life. Thank you very much guys...

Phone died in Chicago and I tried to get it fixed there, but they told me I needed a new SIM card reader and couldnt fix it. I took the phone to Mechanicomp and talked to Sert. He ordered me a new SIM card tray and told me to check back the next day. He left a message that the tray was in, so I brought phone in next day and voila, it was fixed. In Chicago they wanted $85 for a SIM card reader repair. All it took was a new SIM card tray, which cost me $10. Sert was honest and helpful and even showed me how to unlock the phone after inserting the tray for me. I would trust Mechanicomp for any phone problem.

After a harrowing day taking my daughter to the urgent care center I dropped my phone facedown. No surprise that it cracked and I had no tempered glass! Called Verizon and Apple and got quotes of $129 at Apple and $99 at nearby iPhone fixes. My mom found this place and I couldnt be happier . The owners were so kind and helpful and fixed my iPhone 6 for $49 and added a $4 tempered glass screen. What a bargain and done in 20 minutes while I sat there and chatted with him. Highly recommended!

I broke my phone and instead of fixing it I bought Samsung S8 Plus from them, because they had best priced phones in town. It was cheaper then fixing the phone. They even transfered my data for free to my new phone. Most friendly Staff.

THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I CANT EVEN MAKE CALLS WITHOUT MY PHONE HANGING UP I HAVE SCRATCHES IN MY SCREENS DO NOT GO TO ( MECHANICOMP ) I have been to this store 2 times in the past week to get my phone fixed because the technician has done it incorrectly each time. The first time I came in and got my phone same day I had to go back because the head set speaker wasnt working. The phones werent replaced properly. Now Im out 170 dollars and I still have to get my phones fixed NOT TO MENTION when I asked for my money back they tried to put the old screens back into my phones mind you Im fixing 2 IPHONE 6. Hes argued with me. How are you gonna put back a broken phone screen how do you even know what phone screen is mine. Also the technician has witnessed my phone hanging up because i hung up on him calling him to try to figure out what to do with my phone because they didnt put the screens in properly when going into the store the technician said that they couldnt call the managers on the weekend they werent allowed to that is utterly unacceptable and when I talk to the manager he was confused he didnt know what we were talking about. The service is complete and utterly horrible. Do not go here do not waste your money here ( THE WARRANTY IS THE WORST )Update.No ones working with us all we want is our money back. All weve gotten is distress and a headache. Do. Not. Waste. Your. Money. Go. Threw. The. Manufacturer.

These guys are awesome. I went in with an iPad mini with an inoperable home button. They showed me how the switch for that button is actually built into the rim of the screen. To properly fix would require replacing the screen. Although the quoted price of $75 did not seem unreasonable the tech said I could create a virtual button with the iPads software. He went into the iPad settings and made a few adjustments and now it has a virtual button that shows up on the screen. It works perfectly. The best part was he refused to accept any payment. I was most impressed and pleased. I highly recommend

I very unluckily managed to drop and completely smash my iPhone 6s screen on concrete pavers while relaxing poolside. The glass shattered in every direction across the screen from edge to edge and a few shards of glass even fell out; as a result, a glass shard cut my finger. At first I thought maybe I needed to just replace my phone but decided to explore other options. I Googled a few different places in the Naples and Bonita areas. The most common, UBreakIFix, wanted $129.99 for the iPhone 6s glass repair. The Apple store in Naples had such terrible reviews and was the most expensive. I kept searching and found MechaniComp. I called the number and Jason (the owner) answered. He was friendly and told me he could have it fixed no problem within 30 minutes AND his store is located just a few blocks from my office. Even better? For the same service elsewhere the charge was only $69.95! Jason also mentioned that for $4.99 they would add the tempered glass protection. Couldnt turn that down! My grand total with tax was only $79.44! My phone works perfectly and they provide a 1 year warranty as well. While I stood by chatting with Jason a very nice tech sat at a desk right in front of me and fixed my phone. This business is relatively new to the area and although I was a little apprehensive due to minimal reviews I can honestly say without reservation that I would recommend them hands-down over the more expensive competitors when it comes to glass repair on an iPhone. They are nice to talk to and readily answered all my questions. Absolutely customer-service oriented. Saved money and reduced stress....cant beat that!
