This is a great place to have your vehicle taken care of. It is hard to find a mechanic that you feel you can trust but Shirley Street Auto is one of them. No. BS. They do not try to oversell you but they will give you the recomendations that you will need coming due. As a business owner and having multiple vehicles this is a great place for me to take the trucks to. I highly recommend them. I had 2 nails in my tire and the air was depleting fast, luckily I was close and swung in and gotten it taken care of quickly. I would highly recommend them.

After giving myself 45 min. to arrive to an appointment from Bonita, due to traffic, I was running late, I did loose 6 min due to having to return home for my wallet. I called Rena (office mgr.) to see if they would still except me if I was 10 min. late while attempting to get into the Left turn lane on Immokalee. Rd. Stuck in bumper to bumper traffic, I called again to express my deepest, and sincerest sympathy knowing that traffic would not allow me to arrive at the extra 10 min. he gave me once I was on Immokalee Rd. No thanks for my consideration of calling twice.Rena was beyond cold and indignant, while Im expressing my deepest sympathy. I felt guilt knowing the owner could have had another car in my slotted time. When I called to reschedule, I was treated as though I didnt have integrity, I did it on purpose, and like a child.Ive never experienced such treatment. from a business. He was rude, snappy, and his demeaning attitude toward me was beyond any business encounter.Due to not having any air, the appointment was even more important to me. The first words from my mouth were how sorry I felt, he wouldnt take me late, and I understood.Im a full time resident, and I had more business for the owner next month. Ill find another mechanic, and go on without air before I ever call there again, all this after being there earlier this month with my big smile, and kindness toward him, and the owner.Ill delete my review when the owner has time to apologize, in another month, when theyre attempting to make enough to pay their mechanics, they will be begging for business. I dont care how stressed, and tired you are. You dont treat a future good customer like Rena treated me. The owner needs to know how he really is. I know he needs Rena to run his office, but not to run his customers off.My apologizes to the owner, I just need you to know, and Ill delete my review once you make me aware that youve read it.

Had my car towed to this shop with alternator needing to be replaced and could have not asked for better service. Rene was very professional, called to keep me posted on car status and made this nightmare very pleasant. Car now running great!

Extremely happy with the service I received. The 1st visit I had taken my car in to get an oil leak checked out that my pervious mechanic had left loose, the second visit I had an oil change done. Very honest shop will defiantly keep this shop for all my vehicle maintenace and repairs. Highly recommend making an appointment prior to showing up.
