What an amazing experience. Patrick was awesome. He didn’t know this but we had just come from a competitor down the street, and left because the salesman there was pushy and cocky. He literally told us this would be the last store we would be at today and won’t find anyone better. Just look up his reviews!He showed us only the most expensive beds. When we walked into American Mattress Patrick was with another customer. We walked around and looked. He came up and talked to us like actually humans not trying to sell us an expensive bed. He took the time to ask us questions what our price point was and never once did we feel pressured. We were originally just doing some shopping at a few places and then make a choice. American Mattress was only the second place we went and we went ahead and bought a bed then and there. I was happy to give my business to Patrick. It pays to treat people with respect and take your time to actually get to know them.

My experience was excellent. I left Mattress Firm across the street due to a rude and extremely aggressive salesman. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Alex. He was kind, understanding of my budget and very informative. This experience was above and beyond my experience with Mattress Firm. I even decided to go above my planned budget because I was happy with the information I received. Alex did not push me in this direction; I realized the quality and decided to spend more. Alex was incredibly helpful. We bought a mattress for our new house. We found out when moving in that a traditional box spring wouldnt fit up our stairs. We called the day before our new mattress was going to be delivered and Alex was able to get us a split box spring without an issues. Great customer service!!

Had an amazing experience at American Mattress today. My wife and I went into the store immediately after opening, knowing exactly what mattress we wanted. We expected to walk out in 5 minutes with product in had. Much to our surprise, Alex advised us to purchase the product elsewhere, even though he had access to it. Other sellers could deliver the mattress earlier than he could. He didnt talk down about the product at all or try to convince us otherwise - he was looking out for us even though he knew he wouldnt get a sale. We had ournew mattress and bed frame delivered today and had terrible service and when we called Alex he would do nothing about it other than offer us a free pillow. Unbelievable! He should have at least offered to give us back half of our delivery charge or have the delivery truck come back and take the bed frame as they were supposed to. The men laid the new very heavy, $3,199.99 mattress, against our china cabinet containing very collectable pottery and we had to ask them to please move the mattress. The end caps were not put on the frame and we had to lift the extremely heavy mattress and put them on. But the worst is that they would not take the bed frame with the old mattresses as we were assured they would when we bought them. And they left them on the floor in the bedroom! I am in my 70s and now have to drag these heavy frames to the garage with my wife who has had recent back surgery and then again to the curb on garbage day. Do not trust the service from this family owned store! Very poor!
