A very cute little coffee shop tucked away right near downtown Napa. It was really nice to be able to stop by and get a quick coffee before continuing exploring downtown. The coffee here is pretty affordable and it definitely wasnt too crowded. The seating was a little bit limited, but it definitely has a great local coffee shop feel and its a nice respite from the Napa heat during summer.

First time visit today.Mondays and Wednesdays I try to visit local coffee shops. I check in and alert my social media followers they can join me for some coffee, meet and greet and business chat. Its a great way to support local while introducing folks to a great business.Today was Napa Valley Coffee Roasting.First, the atmosphere was great. Friendly greeting, cute decor, great banter. Super cute and clean.Lavender Vanilla Latte - was great. Pretty and delicious 😋 I added a photo.Lots of local traffic from the various professional businesses in the vicinity as well as regulars. Adding to the wonderful atmosphere.It was really a comfortable spot. Im considering it as my regular Wednesday spot just because it was so just right.

Got there almost closing tine, like 4:30 pm, closes at 5pm. Pastry only 3 donuts left. Ordered a cinnamon latte, mostly foam, otherwise place is a nice little early.

Nice coffee and causal ambience located in best location. However, may I suggest up the game of pastry a bit ?

Excellent small corner coffee shop that roasts their own coffee on the premises. Excellent cortado and capuchino. Cannot go wrong coming here for coffee!

Very friendly staff but I think the baristas (we went two mornings in a row and had different people) need to be trained a little better with the temperature. Both days our lattes were not hot but just warm. I think this is on management. But I would go back and taste inside next time before I head out.

Very nice shop with great employees. In terms of the roasts, nothing single origin and nothing particularly light roasted.

I had higher hopes for this coffee shop. If you are a perfectionist about how your coffee is served then if stay out of this place. I ordered an Americano and the human body pushing buttons in front of a nice espresso machine didnt know what the hell she was doing (I cant even call her a barista) Anyway my coffee was pulled way too long and its so acidic I cant even drink it. In addition the emo chick that took my order had a poor attitude.

Went here later in the day (5pm) and wanted something caffeine free so asked if the lavender vanilla latte and another drink had espresso. The barista very rudely responded with “do you just want a hot chocolate”, treating me like I was a 4 year old child, and offered no other help in finding tea or anything else on the menu without espresso.I did end up getting the hot chocolate with whipped cream and it was pretty good although it was mostly milk and didn’t taste very chocolatey.Very disappointed in the service here.

Came in for a cup of coffee, and left with a smile. Its a quaint coffee shop whose product is equally matched by their quality of service. My only regret is not living in the area, otherwise Id be coming here a lot more often.

Rich, dark coffee, and more importantly, a local business. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I was in Napa for the last eight days. I made Napa Valley Coffee my morning ritual. I hope to see them again on my next visit.

They always make the best effort to give every day their all even with all happening. I hope that we can keep them open, lets all fight to keep our small businesses open!

Inside here is amazing. When we went the pastry selection was a little small, but maybe Covid has something to do with it. Drinks were good but nothing special. Mostly cool because of the decor and location, which we couldn’t enjoy because of the flu going around.

Really cool little place that roasts its own coffee. Lots of menu options and a very dope oldschool coffee shop environment. Really adds to the Napa experience. If you get a chance stop in.

The coffee beans are insanely delicious. Coming from grocery store coffee I literally couldn’t believe how delicious the coffee is. It’s super fresh, bagged on site and most importantly reasonably priced.Staff is super nice and extremely helpful. I look forward to my weekly trip to buy my beans.

Im not a local but it sure looks like a Starbucks opened catty corner from this obviously locally-owned coffee shop. When stuff like that happens, you cant help but root for the little guy, but this place doesnt need your sympathy. They offer a damn good cup of coffee that speaks for itself. If youre in town for a few days, I highly recommend the bulk bar for some freshly roasted beans to take home. Great product with smiling faces behind the counter provide a great visit. Im a fan!

I have been sipping this coffee since I was a teenager. This place puts value on the beans being roasted perfectly, amazing service and a social Napa vibe. This establishment has always felt like a social place where you can meet the friendly locals and have conversation over a brew with business people, tourists, artists or just your working class. They take care in every cup of aroma filled goodness. I have actually illustrated a book while hanging out here. It has never stopped being on my must do list in Napa. Go for the coffee, hang out for the buzz!

We passed Starbucks to come here and it was apparent the girl working the register wanted to be on her phone and not helping guests. She offered zero welcome or help and then as soon as we paid, before we could even get coffee, went and sat down at a table on her phone. I would prefer the atmosphere at Starbucks.

Located in the centre of Napa, opposite a Starbucks, we went here for a quick coffee to support local business rather than a global corp. Great location, well designed interior, very good coffee, very slow service. We weren’t in a rush but if we were, it would’ve been very frustrating.

Just moved to the area and have been looking for quality coffee to make at home. Pleasantly surprised to get a free drink with a purchase of some beans. Highly recommend the Spicy Italian blend! I will definitely be back to sample some more.

This place has the best coffee, I use to be a huge fan of Starbucks but this definitely takes over. You can really taste the coffee as it is freshly made. The girls working there are always really friend. If you are looking for a place to get coffee this is it!

I think their coffee is great. They do a great job roasting. Their shop staff /baristas are hit and miss unfortunately. Ive had great service and Ive had a few that dont care at all about what they are doing. Even though I love the coffee Im often hesitant to spend my money there knowing I may be greeted with poor attitude or just overall lack of friendly customer service.

Just stopped by to get a cup of coffee for the road. This independent coffee shop has a great location on a corner in downtown Napa. I like the vintage look of the interior and the fact that they roast in-store. Good coffee and a nice atmosphere. Id probably come here and hang out if I lived closer.

Cute little locally owned, full service coffee house in historic Downtown Napa. The always friendly staff greet you as you walk in, and the aromas are heavenly! They sell whole beans and ground coffee to go as well. (I recommend Bear Cubs Brew! 👍)Otherwise grab your favorite drink and a table and relax looking out the huge front windows or use the free wifi. This place is light years better than that huge coffee chain that everyone knows 😉

Delicious hot coffee :) cozy little set up in a pleasant part of downtown Napa...friendly, personable baristas that made great conversation. Dappled with interesting local artwork. Love that they kept the vintage feel of the older building and made a get away area upstairs to work uninterrupted on a laptop or whatnot...affordable too :)

Coffee was good and the atmosphere was pleasant but the service made me want to take my business elsewhere. The woman at the front counter looked as if we were disrupting her day and as though we were an inconvenience to her.

This was a fantastic local coffee house to stumble on. It is a tad rustic, which adds to the charm. Close seating arrangements which gives you an excuse to chat with a good looking neighbor. The staff know their coffee too and greet you with a smile. Out of towners visiting here will feel like a local.

I had an Americano it was ok I would not drive out of your way for this place. Much better than chains, but was expecting better for on-site roaster.

I practically live here. I go out of my way to grab a cup of coffee from here, the owner seems to have a lot of fun and the staff is always friendly. if they installed a little library nook, they would have a hard time getting me to leave.

Good spot, good coffee. Had a battery recycling bin and book exchange bookcase, my kinda place. They were nice and didnt mind at all that I was there for at least an hour or more. Not gaudy or pretencious as far as I could see, just right.

One of my first places to stop on a vacation to Napa. I was pleasantly surprised at all the options. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! My only complaint is that my cubano coffee was only about 4oz. I needed more! But it certainly did the job!

My latte is wonderful. The croissant is so rich I will have to finish the rest later! Very happy with my experience.

We stopped here on our way home from a weekend in Napa and I did not like the taste of the coffee here. It tasted burned like they over roasted maybe? The smell in the building was not pleasant either. The service was good. There was no where to sit (busy sunday morning I guess)

Came here almost every morning of my vacation for coffee.

I watched the barista pull three nine second shots and serve them all, including mine which was rather weak. The milk was froth city. That said, not any better or worse than your average chain but its still nice to support a local business and the historic building is pretty sweet. Ill probably keep looking for a favorite coffee shop in the area.

The Firehouse Mud coffee and the iced coffee were so good, we came back a few hours later for a second round! Fantastic place :)
