AMAZING VACATION VILLAGEThis place is huge - There are many villas and so many gardens between them. The atmosphere is really warm and great, and the parking is really close to the room.We had a great experience in all means - the bike rental is awesome, the location is great, the golf courts are exceptional, and the in site restaurant and market are way beyond expect.THE POOL WAS THE BEST - we’ve only been to the main one but they have many. There is so much to do there and we didn’t want to leave. Enjoy!!

If you’re thinking about staying here, just do it! Amazing resort. I didn’t come here for golfing purposes like many others do, but I came to enjoy the vines of Napa Valley. Stanley, at the front desk, is AMAZING! Silverado needs to do anything possible to keep him around. He helped with about every single issue that we had and totally made our experience better. We stayed in the one bedroom mansion suite and genuinely cannot complain about anything. It had a “front yard” patio and a “backyard” patio so one can enjoy the breeze with minimal to maximum privacy. The Grill was somewhat lackluster. Definitely not my favorite hotel restaurant I have ever been to. The food and service weren’t the best but was not terrible. The resort of HUGE. The fitness center/spa is sort of in a realm of its own and practically needs a golf cart to get there unless you like walking over a mile or two in 90 degree heat. All in all, when I come back (notice how I did not say IF I came back!), I will definitely be looking forward to it.

Beautiful resort and spa, the grounds are gorgeous and serene and the restaurant food is excellent. They also have a market with more excellent food, wine, Starbucks, and outstanding bakery goods baked on the premises The rooms are very basic and they nickel and dime you to death on the resort fees and other charges. The golf course and country bridges and away from it all feel make this a worthwhile visit.

Let me start off with the resort is absolutely beautiful. The views are spectacular and the ambiance great. However, the views aren’t everything. The food was below average. The wife and I ate there a fair amount in our stay and had to go outside the resort after each meal. More importantly, while the rooms are very clean, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The walls between the rooms are paper thin. I could hear the adjacent rooms conversation.

Woke up with ants all over me. On my chest, in my hair. They were in one of the other rooms we had too. Eye make up on the pillows. (We were all guys visiting for golf) The people working acted like they didnt believe us, came and checked and then they were visibly grossed out. They moved us to what felt like a downgraded room. Terrible experience. If management sees this, please contact me as I would like a refund.

A nice one night stay, if you are planning for a few days or a week, bikes are great to have because the cottages are scattered throughout the property so things like the Deli or Grill can be far away. There is walkways throughout and you have access to have someone drive you by golf cart to the other side of the property. But bikes are nice to have too!

Cottages are nice and comfortable and leave your expectations there. If you want to use the one heated pool at the spa it will cost you an extra $40/day for a pass, want to use the driving range ? That’ll be $20 /day for a pass. Decided to play a round of golf ( by myself so chose to walk) since each day my wife and I have walked the beautiful course in front of our room. The course in front of our room was the north course but since I’m a ‘guest’ they put me out on the south course at a rate of $123-I was never given a choice to the course. The south course I was sent to, in my personal opinion, was not ready for play (refraining from use of expletive’s).The greens and tee boxes had been recently punched with many of the holes not filled with sand and the fairways seemed to have been aerated in a manner to ‘slice’ them resulting in a very swamp like feel when walking on. I have no problem paying when value is present but my experience leaves me deleting my Wyndham reservation app. Chose the resort and Napa for 20th anniversary - Napa we love, just would not stay at Silverado again.

Im going to focus on the people who make the Silverado Resort and Spa a great place for vacation. My family spent the weekend their after 500 days of Covid lock-down and had a wonderful time due mostly to the people working there. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help us have a great visit. The staff at the pool are SUPER friendly and helpful. We ordered food and drinks by the pool and felt very well taken care of. The staff at the Grill we fun and friendly and gave great recommendations for lunch choices. We had a couple of laughs with them which was really refreshing. The house keeping staff we also very friendly and helpful. If youre looking for a fun and friendly place in the Napa Valley. Friendly staff and the mansion and surrounding area was nice. However, many of the print materials they gave us upon check-in (pool hours, etc.) were incorrect and didn’t match their digital properties - this ended up disrupting some of our plans. We also had a two person room with a front porch that only had one chair.A big part of our trip involved using the on-site bikes to visit nearby wineries, but the checkout station wouldn’t connect to the internet so we couldn’t unlock bikes and almost missed some of our tastings (had to use ride-sharing apps instead which were very scarce at the time).I also needed help from the front desk at several points during my stay, but the phone was never answered despite several attempts. Upon calling in for remote checkout, I was forwarded between two departments several times (they kept referring me to the previous department) before being helped.None of these are critical complaints, but the service and quality just didn’t align with the price point.

The courses are always in great shape and offer a PGA tour challenge on the North Course, but then opens up and plays for the average resort player on the South Course. This location was not what we had expected. Everything advertised shows the original mansion, giving the impression of a quaint 1800s homestead. Instead, all rooms are in townhouse style clusters around a golf course. Its more of a country club feel, which isnt bad, just not what we had expected. Service was mediocre. The pool was nice, but we had to drive to it. The hot tub would have been nice on cool Spring evenings, but it was empty and full of rotten leaves.

Not a resort at all! My husband and I were looking for some relaxing days to pamper ourselves in a high class hotel in this romantic honeymoon destination, but instead got a very mediocre Airbnb experience.Everything of this resort is very misleading: Most of the beautiful facilities you see belong to the golf club and are more or less open to the public. Guests stay in some outdated cottages. The rooms are much smaller than the photos portrait. We used the pool and it reminds me of the 90s. The restaurant food is average and overpriced as is this resort.Very disappointing experience. Could be a good location for golfers, otherwise it is a below average 2 star hotel at the most.

I spent about 500 dollars at your golf tournament and walked around for 10 hours following golfers. When it came time for the concert after the golf, you dont allow any lawn chairs. Do you really think I want to stand around waiting for an hour with tired exhausted legs. Especially while Im looking at about 200 EMPTY vip chairs that you DID allow at the concert. There is no reason not to allow chairs other than making us lowly peasants suffer for your pleasure.

Stayed at the Silverado for 5 nights in August and overall I’d say it’s an okay place to stay but could use a lot of improvement, particularly given the cost. I’ll start with the good:Good: The resort is in a beautiful location and is about a 10 min drive from downtown Napa. The grounds are impeccable and beautiful to stroll around in. The staff is all very friendly and attentive. There is tons of parking and lots to do on the property (pool, bar and restaurant, bike rentals, golf, tennis, etc).Bad:The rooms are dated and shabby, imagine a cheap apartment rental. The furniture is beat up and the beds are uncomfortable. Our room also smelled of smoke (maybe a smoker stayed here before, or maybe it’s the fireplace in the room, tough to say). This would all be fine, except it’s not cheap place to stay. There also isn’t a deadbolt on the front door, which is odd and a bit uncomfortable given that we are on a ground floor unit. We also encountered several fairly large spiders in our room, pretty gross. The air conditioner also doesn’t work super well, so it never really gets cold in the room, just a medium level not hot. Lastly, every time we turned on the water in our room brown water would flow from the tap for a few seconds. This just seems like an easily fixable problem. The spa. Okay, so the services were well done, but again, the whole place is dated and the spa amenities outside the service itself was really lacking. This again would be fine, except the treatments are approx $200 each after the service charge. Probably will just go as a guest to another spa in the area next time I’m in town.Lastly, for any resort guests keep in mind, this is a country club as well as a resort, so it doesn’t ‘feel’ like you are staying at a resort (for example, the hotel bar closes at nine and the suggestion to get an after dinner drink was to DoorDash a bottle of wine). Not great. It really does feel like you are staying in a guest room at a country club, which would be okay, but it’s not really how it’s marketed. It also seems like the club members are really the priority here (just for example, at the pool members could just get towels, but guests had to bring their own from their room. Why? Not to mention the best pool chairs are reserved all day for members and from my watching basically sat unused all day),

We had the best trip to Napa earlier this month, and I already cant wait to stay at Silverado again. We stayed in the cottages, and our room was clean and very comfortable. We had a spacious outdoor patio off of our room as well, which we made use of each evening while waiting for each other to get ready, and after returning from dinners. I think next time we return we would like to stay in the Mansion just to experience the difference. From the moment we checked in, everything went great. We checked in on a Sunday evening around dinner time, so it wasnt very busy at that point. We were quickly checked in and (due to covid protocols) led by someone in a van to our cottage while we drove behind in the rental car. The gentleman who led us to our room unloaded our luggage and showed us where to park. We requested a golf cart to help us with our wine when we returned from a wine tour one day as well, and it was easy to get all the help we needed. We also ate at the Market both mornings of our stay. We had considered the grill as well, but the sandwiches at The Market were too good to skip, and its just so fast and easy. I was shipping wine home, so checked out at the front desk even though it wasnt necessary to do so. Everything went so smoothly with all of it and we were on the road to SFO ahead of schedule! I cant wait to stay here again, and already told friends that they have to give it a try next time theyre in Napa.

This was a very standard experience. The rooms were small and basic, as was the pool. The staff was overall pleasant, but there are strict guidelines around pool seating. About 20 of the chairs are reserved for members of the club, but they went mostly unused all day. It was frustrating because we paid for a room, but were treated like we werent important because we werent members. Also, they told us that we could get a shuttle at any time of day, but there were a few times that it never showed up, which was frustrating. We did enjoy the market and the staff was overall friendly.

Bad value - the pictures from the main lobby are stunning, the rooms? not so much. The rooms are pretty outdated (do not expect any smart TV here), wifi was OK, pool was incredibly crowded with most seats reserved for club members. If you are forced to stay here, it will be OK - but is it worth $500 + per night? Absolutely not. After our stay we emailed the staff about some pests problems we had (we found multiple spiders inside the room) - did we get an answer? Sure. But their response was comical, it still included the unfilled template choices - it read something like dear [name here], sorry you did not enjoy your stay at [hotel name] we apologize for [problem]. I did not bother after that.

She asked me to call the spa, she couldn’t see the details what I used at the spa. It was Thursday night. The spa also told me same thing. They couldn’t see the details. They kept saying and asking me something that I used in the spa even though I explained it. Then, They asked me to call the finance department. Next day finance dept found the bills it took a long time to figure out what they charge me instead of what I used. Some one made an reservation and did not show up. The bills charged to my bill. I left voice mail and email, but finance dept did not work for the weekend. How they charged me or somebody who was not belong to them. Today is Monday, I called the lady at finance dept three times who found the issue. Finally she answered me and told me that she connected to the spa manager for the resolve the issue. The money will be refund when the manager of spa approve it. It seemed it was very short and brief, but during the conversation, all of the people asked me that you might use something that you don’t remember. I am so disappointed with Silverado management. I loved to stay for a day. I never forgot what I see, smell, and taste in Napa.
