RENTER BEWARE!!!After only 4 months, my rate was raised 40%!!! Lesson, ALWAYS read the fine print. All that said, it is a nice facility; clean, carts readily available, and easy set-it forget-it approach to billing. Then I received price increase notification in the mail, shocker. I am left infuriated, cursing this companies name while shaking my fist. No one likes to feel duped and taken advantage of. Just another billion $ company feasting off the backs of hard working Americans. Chalk it up to banks charging overdraft fees leaving the poor, poorer. Sigh...

All of the staff at the Extra Space Storage inS. Myrtle Bch, SC have been super helpful. My first day checking-in I arrived @ peak busy time. Kathy was very professional & super on top of making sure everyone received proper service despite being busy. She has also been a huge help in up-sizing my unit. The other two employees who have helped me have also been very hospitable, w/ other guests as well as my self. Moving & storing belongings can be so stressful. I know my interactions w/ the staff of this location will always bring some relief and actually brighten the rest of my day.P.S. it is super clean!

One of the best storage units that I have rented by far. And super secure so that I dont have to worry about someone breaking into my unit and stealing all of my things as have happened at other storage units in the past. Love the temperature control and the rates stay the same every month.

Joe was extremely helpful and explained everything. I live out of state so I went on line and we were able to read and sign contract remotely so that when we arrive we just pick up our keys and go from there. Thank you Joe.

I rented 4 units over a two month period. The attendant at this Extra Space Joe, was personable and most helpful. This was a newly opened facility so units were very nice. Well maintained during our time, and Joe answered questions and made adding and turning in units a breeze.

Facility is great, the website is misleading...I was planning on dropping off my last load from my apartment to my unit and driving overnight to my destination. Only to find out that it is not 24 hours like the site mentions...I have an outdoor locker with the gate entry which leaves me baffled why I cant access it 24 hours. its like they were holding my belongings for ransom overnight. And I also had to throw somethings out cus I couldnt fit them during my trip It really threw a wrench into my plans to say the least 🙃

This facility is very clean and accessible 24 hours a day. It is very well lite at night . I especially like having my storage unit inside. You pull into one of two large enclosed bays which is secured by a touch pad with your own code. You can close the bay door to protect from the elements. And as a women this feature adds to the sense of security for me. There are plenty of rolling carts available for use. The staff Joe and Mark are friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Facility is nice and clean. My problem is my original rate for my unit was $71. After 4 months it went up to $81.i made my July 1st payment and 2 days later I received notice in mail my rate was going to be $150 as of August 1st. Almost doubled. Almost like bait and switch I vacated my unit on July 31st.

The rep from the call center was super friendly and made it easy to line things up with Joe over at the physical location. Joe was super professional and straightforward, he truly made the experience enjoyable and easy. These guys are the real deal, a lot better than beating around the bush with some of these other storage facilities in the area.

Beautiful facility with tons of different sized storage options. Seemed to have better prices than other nearby options, plus its a brand new facility within the past couple of years. Manager Joe is friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. Definitely recommend this place if you need storage in the Myrtle Beach area.

The facility is clean and secure. To access the indoor storage spaces, you can drive your car into an enclosed common area next to the office. There are carts provided to load your items. Joe was very courteous and helpful.
