I’ve been working with this optical company but in Florida for years and have had excellent service and wonderful prices. I left Florida with a new pair that I had only worn for two days and they weren’t working for me. I stopped in Muskegon on my way north and went to Meijer Optical (same company) to get help. Kayla was over the top taking care of me and seeing that I was satisfied. Turned out I needed a new prescription, it had nothing to do with the glasses themselve. Kayla knows what she is doing and is 100% customer oriented. Ask for her!
Had two pairs of single vision glasses made for $99. One pair came out excellent. The other pair came out with the left eye too strong. Went back to see what could be done. Man on duty suggested converting the glasses to a no line bifocal as they wouldnt redo them. What I got was a pair of progressive lens glasses with a narrower field of clear view. Again right eye good, left eye not so good. Apparently they cannot make glasses to a customers request as the left eye problem in the first time could have been easily fixed by just making the glass for that eye a bit less strong. And I didnt ask for progressive lenses when I agreed to having no line bifocals made. I guess you get what you pay for...
I paid extra for scratch-resistant lenses. When they scratched, I was told They arent scratch proof, and there is no warranty (so I would pay full price for new lenses). Dont pay for scratch protection... or better yet, get glasses elsewhere.
The workers here were friendly and I believe I am getting a much better result from my exam here then I did at one of the nearby chains.
Wouldn’t recommend this place as workers like to spread stuff about customers in the store and talk bad about people.
