The term trustworthy mechanic is usually considered an oxymoron. Not in this case! Jim is not only extremely knowledgeable but I was blown away by his integrity.My van was making a strange noise. I called Jim based on the positive online reviews I found and preferring a mechanic that could come to my house.Over the phone, he was able to quickly diagnose the issue as a bad oil filter and advised me on the type of filter to ask for when I take it back in to the place I recently had my oil changed.He could have easily come out to charge me for a diagnostic visit or an expensive repair and I wouldnt have known any better. Im still in shock that such an honest mechanic exists!

They were very nice and checked everything before installing the part to make sure it was the exact problem. Im 24 and know nothing about cars and they communicated with me about everything going on. His mistake cost me over $900. Do yourself a favor and take it to someone professional and knows their stuff. I was told I needed a PCM because all of a sudden when he plugged his device in the second time he wasn’t getting any signal from the computer. So I got the part that I was told I needed because he never actually looked into finding the part himself. Then the part arrived and I contacted him again about installing it and he never returned my messages or phone calls. So I took it to the Jeep dealership to have it taken care of only for them to tell me that the PCM wasn’t the issue and that it’s actually the throttle which is now going to cost me again $900.

Extremely nice guy he got to me on schedule! I was out of town visiting & my car started backfiring out of nowhere with my kids in the car but I managed to make it back to my motel & he responded to my call as soon as he could & scheduled an appointment with me the next morning. He got it running well again, told me what I needed to replace & suggested where to buy them, all before my check out time. He was our hero!

Best mobile mechanic ever! Called Jim when no one in town could get me in to look at my car that was making noises. He answered right away and had no problem working me into his schedule. He came over within 30 minutes and 1) knew where the sound was coming from, 2) tightened the loose nut that was causing the noise, 3) ran a diagnostic, tested the battery, and 4) spotted some leaky hoses, tightened and added fluid to the power steering. All done in about 20-30 min. Car shops had missed these things and couldn’t tell us where the noise was coming from. Jim had it fixed and gave us advice for upcoming maintenance and repair on other issues in 30 minutes! He was laid back, honest, and super nice too! Would recommend him to anyone and definitely would call him again!

This was the first time using a mobile mechanic and it will not be the last. And I will definitely be using Jim’s services again. He was everything you want in a mechanic. Honest, on-time, fast service and his prices can’t be beat. He put 2 starters in 2 of my cars in under 2 hours. It was a great experience from beginning to end.

We called Jim to come over and diagnose my car, and get a quote. He ended up repairing it while here within an hour! We are SO thankful, he took the extra time and work to repair the problem rather than just say we had to order new parts to replace it. Shows a lot of integrity in his company. Hadnt used a mobile mechanic before so wasnt sure what to expect. Jim gave me a ballpark estimate over the phone, so I had him come out. He was on time, very professional, did a great job on my car, and was very neat and clean throughout. It also ended up costing a little less than the estimate because one of the parts didnt need replacing. Great experience!

Called Jim at 8 p.m. on a Sunday night because we accidentally put power steering fluid in the brake fluid reservoir. He answered the phone right away and answered our question. I can’t say enough great things about Jim. I called him in the morning needing my bearings changed and it was my only day off and needed it done ASAP. He immediately met up with me without hesitation (which I’m sure he had to change his schedule around just to accommodate me) and diagnosed my car. He was extremely thorough and was immediately on the phone calling to see if he could find the parts to fix my car that same day. After he got the parts he fixed up my vehicle from the comfort of my home. ALSO, on top of his wonderful service he charged me twice as less as a shop quoted me over the phone (which was outrageously expensive) for the same service.
