Do not believe these people when they tell you they have a part or even when it is advertised online. We drove 2 hours to get a trunk lid because it was advertised to be the same color as our car so it would not have to be painted. When we got there not only did they NOT have the part in the correct paint color but they even wanted us to come back tomorrow to get it. Remember we drove 2 hours and it was still over 3 hours until they closed AND they knew we were coming. They will tell you they have something just to get you in the door then try and sell you on something else. Also, take the positive reviews with a grain of salt because we heard them offering customers $5 if they went on line to write a positive review.

I had an engine sent to me from flat rocks and the engine I received had so many damages messed up wiring harness crack in timing cover harmonic balancer damaged and some crack chunk of metal off the side of the engine couldnt even put the engine in my car the engine was worthless

Terrible yard . Will rip you off. Will lie to you right to your face. They dont even know what they actually have in stock. Me and a friend of mine when hit 10 different salvage yards that day looking for parts. And they know as much about the cars and auto parts as much as OReillys and AutoZone. I am a seasoned mechanic and they try to argue with me over something that they had no idea what they were talking about.

The most unprofessional people I have ever encountered. Blonde women Mandy is very rude and disrespectful to all customers. I was there for almost two hours waiting on a small part, because they don’t pull out parts unless customer is there physically which is very unprofessional way of doing business. I complained to the owner thinking he may be helpful, turns out he is worst than Mandy. You guys should be ashamed of yourself. As far as I know islam is about dignity and manners which these guys don’t have at all.

OMG. My friend who is a well known business owner contacted Flat Rock a hour before sending me to pick up a rim for my car. I get there and the rim wasnt removed off the vehicle. Ok no biggie... I waited 3 hours for them to take off 5 lug nuts so at that time I decided to leave after spending half of my work day just sitting and waiting for them to show me the wheel I was inquiring about. As Im leaving the employee tells me that they took the wheel off but the wheel is no good. WTH! Why did you take the wheel off knowing that the wheel is no good??? I left there and went a few miles to Murfreesboro Auto Salvage and they had the wheel off waiting for me within 5 minutes after the call. All I can say is steer clear of Flat Rock Auto Parts because this place is unorganized and the customer service is terrible.

Flat rock Auto Parts is the worst EVER!! They sold me a transmission that they knew was no good and when I confronted them about it they denied any wrongdoing! I also called them 2 days in advance and was assured that they would have it ready and after traveling over 115 miles they refused to give my money back! Never again!

Instead of checking on the part before selling it to you, they sell you the part and take your money THEN they wait 2 weeks to tell you they dont have it and it never shipped.If I never called to grab my tracking (13 days after purchase) ...... WOULD I STILL BE WAITING FOR MY PART?Run poorly with very little effort put into customer satisfaction..Another one of those hole-in-the-wall Junkyards I guess..YOUVE BEEN WARNED.

They tell you a price over the phone and when you arrive and you are going to pay, it is another thing I happen with a car ring they told me $ 85.00 on the phone and when I go to the place to pay and take it they told me it was $ 150.00 plus tax

I’d give it NO stars if I could. They’re very rude and very unprofessional. The owner told me that if he kept pulling parts, it’s going to be wasting his time. I politely asked for my money back. His son started to become the big bad wolf and started being disrespectful. He got so angry and got out of character. He also attempted to jump over the sales counter. Wow! That’s fine, because I had something that would’ve made him another hole to release waste out of. I definitely will not be going back.

They let me walk the lot to find the parts I wanted, then sent a guy to remove them for me. I personally liked that a lot. The only reason for 4 stars instead of five is that I called the day before and got quotes for the parts I wanted: $100 for one big part and $50 for the other small parts. When I came into the office with the parts it was $100 for the big and $50 each for the smalls. The price was still acceptable but I really dont remember the each on the quote the day before. Beyond that one thing (which Ill concede I may have missed) it was a great experience.

I visited this junk yard trying to replace a radio for my car. Person working there went into my vehicle to confirm model needed and handed me a replacement. I went home only to find out that it was the wrong model. I returned to get my money back and the owner hit me with a 50 percent restocking fee. This is crazy because they gave me the wrong model by their own worker!! Do not come here unless you are sure you have exactly what you need and are willing to take the chance!
