Caliber Collision pleased a customer (me) that expects the highest levels customer service for my business. Initially, I had my Mercedes Benz at the Mercedes dealership’s collision center, but I went with Caliber and I’m glad I did. This place is run well. They were communicative and flexible in their communication medium since I’m a busy professional. They were also responsive to my unique situation (two separate insurance claims), thorough in their work, informative and not condescending, and efficient in their time to complete the work.Additionally, they were honest. They didn’t inflate my repair bill. The Mercedes shop did. My car looks new again. This place has great leadership and it’s evident in how well every employee took care of me.
I was expecting to pay some crazy amount to get my truck fixed when I randomly googled the closest body shop to my home. I pulled into Calibre Collision and was promptly helped by an amazing Crystal Lewis and her team. Their service was EXCELLENT. I actually felt welcomed and comfortable, which is rare for me. Im really thankful to have found them and will come back if I ever need any work or even just advice. Thanks again to this amazing team and business!

I opted for the MV center because of glowing reviews on Yelp and Google to replace my car part through out-of-pocket. But midway through the process the third party opted to pay the damages through her insurance. This kind of created a communication gap with Caliber Collision and myself. It also did not help that I had to go out of state for a while.I was trying to renew the communication once I was back to setup the replacement appointment and got a indifferent response from one of the staff on phone. I was planning on giving a one star here and move on to another bodyshop. But I gave one last shot by paying a visit to them and let them know how I felt.There I met this chill dude in glasses who assured me things will be done the right away going forward. I was able to schedule an appointment, and Cindy did an amazing job of replacing the damaging part in less than a day.Should be a 3 star for all the back and forth.Bumping up one star for Cindys swift work and for the hospitality of the chill dude wearing glasses. (I missed his name sorry)And making it a 5 star for going above and beyond for vacuuming my car and fixing my tire pressure, I guess that was a sweetener for all the confusion that happened.There is a reason this is the best Caliber Collision in Bay Area :)
Should improve better communications and customer service
Cindy was awesome every step of the way with my body work. Her communication in person and via text and e-mail was so appreciated. I knew what was happening with my car and she made the paperwork, payment, and rental car coordination go as smooth as possible.
Was very happy and satisfied with the service and customer service at Caliber Collision. Cindy the rep that helped me thru the whole process after my accident was very friendly and professional. Towed in for replacement for stolen Catalytic Converter and installation of a cage. So impressed with customer service! Car was taken, fixed and returned to home within 3 work days and I was kept informed via phone, text and email throughout. Efficient, friendly and no touch service. In Covid time, this was a welcome relief and reminded me in a tough week of smoke, pandemic and stressful situations that the folks there at this local shop are doing their job and doing it so well. Update: After I posted the review, the manager emailed me immediately and asked me to come over to solve the issue. He personally greeted me in the lobby, and offered to take care of the dent. Now the dent is gone, just a trace of scratch left over. I really appreciated manager Lennells help in this matter, thus one more star for the prompt response.-------------------------------------I did inspection and repair at this place cause it is within my insurance companys network, but it left an odd taste in my mouth.The people were polite and professional during the whole process. But on picking my car, I immediately noticed a penny size dent on the side. The front desk lady said they noticed this when checking in, and showed me the photo. The odd thing is when I went over the car with the shops inspector, neither of use noticed this dent, so it wasnt listed in my cars damage estimation. Yet when they noticed the damage later on, they didnt contact my insurance company to revise the original estimate and have the dent fixed. So after a I paid $500 deductible, the car still is not fully restored. Essentially they either did a poor job in damage inspection, or negligent in repair. One star subtraction for this.I did a similar bumper repair at a bodyshop used by my dealer years back. You did notice the difference. People here did pump my tires, and the front desk lady also said they washed the car. Yet I noticed dirty water marks and small animal foot prints on the back of the car. And some minor scratches and one place showed metal after paint loss. When I picked up my car from the dealer recommended bodyshop, it feels like a new car, immaculate and shining. Here it does feel it has been repaired, roughly. One star less for this.Other than those two things, this shop is fine. Update is timely.
My car was fixed through another driver’s insurance. The shop fit me in for an estimate within 1 day, drop off within 4 days, and then completed my repairs in 4 days. The minor repairs and repainting look great. Jonathan was easy to work with, and communication was good. I was never waiting longer than about 10 minutes. They also returned my car with a spotless interior, so it felt nicer than before the accident!

I had received a sizable dent in the drivers side of my vehicle and that entire area was scratched up.Based on recommendations and online reviews, I decided on FCC Collision to do the work. Originally, I had wanted to take the car to their Evelyn Ave Center (FCC has four locations in the Bay Area). But them I discovered they had opened a new location on Old Middlefield Way in Mountain View.Rather than trying to convince me to do the work, Sheldon (the Manager at FCC Collision Mountain View) and I discussed whether it was worth it to invest in my old car. He outlined all my options, estimating the price for each one. Ultimately, I decided to choose the most expensive option.It took about a week to get in the parts, and then the work began. I work in the service industry and for the first time, in a long time, I had the red carpet rolled out. I was kept apprised by text of each stage of the repair until it was completed about five days later.In the end, they fixed my car perfectly. They even gave me a free car wash, and my car looked brand new when I picked it up. Great work and great service! The shop went above and beyond what I expected.I recommend FCC Collision to anyone looking to have quality work done on their car at a reasonable price.
Outstanding experience from all perspectives. Clean and professional facility. Excellent customer service (ask for Sheldon). The best quote, very detailed. Email updates on the progress of the repair. A phone call when the car is ready. We were told to expect the repair to be done in 4 days, and it was done in only 2, with the car ready 2 days ahead of schedule. I hope my car does not get scratched again but, if it unfortunately does, I will go to no other than FCC Collision Center in Mountain View!

Im very disappointed at this point. When I went to the store, the staff was helpful and nice. I have been waiting for the email about an estimate so I can file the claim. The staff promised within 3 days. Yet its been a week and I made a couple phone calls regarding the email. I was told definitely received by the end of the day and never did. Since they arent open on the weekend, I cant reach out to them on the weekend. Im going to miss the deadline to file the claim and will have to pay out of my pockets. Definitely didnt plan to add more stress to my car issue when I walked into this place
What an excellent job they did. Beyond expectations. Not only did they repair the damaged bumpers, they repainted so it exactly matches the paint of the other sections. Then they cleaned the entire car inside and out. More than a simple car wash, this company cleaned so well it looks and smells like new. And they finished early.Friendly and professional front office.Lifetime warranty at any of their shops.I will always use them for repairs.
Great customer service. They provided pick up service to pick the car from my place and delivered it ahead of schedule. While they were servicing my car they send update through text everyday even though I didnt necessarily need the updates which I felt was a nice touch. Definitely would recommend this place.

My entire driver side door needed to be replaced after my roommate reversed into the car without looking. After an initial estimate by FCC work started immediately.Raul was extremely helpful as usual (Ive been to FCC before) and kept me constantly up to date with the latest progress on my car.The worked took longer than it was originally expected to take but this was not the fault of FCC; They were waiting for a whole new car door part to arrive. Overall, great work and excellent people to deal with!
Someone backed into my car while I was at work but THANKFULLY was nice enough to actually leave their personal and insurance info for me. I went to FCC Collision and dealt with Jason. He was super nice and kept me updated on the progress of my repairs until they were finished. He handled all of the stuff having to do with insurance and payment so it was less stressful for me. Ive had them do 4 different vintage cars (from 1958 through 1987) -- their work was excellent in each case. I didnt want (or didnt want to pay for) a show quality job, but a good to excellent paint job. Thats definitely what I got. They have an excellent master painter (probably the key to success in any paint shop) and carefully monitors the work of the other guys.
I recently had my bumper fall off of my car and on the same day I was able to come to this store with a replacement and they took care of everything for me as I waited. Sheldon was very accommodating in making sure all of my needs were met and made sure my problem was handled very quickly. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who is in need of quick and friendly service without costing an arm and a leg for it.
* Skip this place if you need initial estimate for collision inspection.* Beware to get a insanely low estimation from AARON CJJR.I went this place for vehicle inspection recommended by state farm car insurance. AARON CJJR did the inspection and gave way-low estimated total. My car needs to replace bumper parts, but he intentionally dropped body labor cost for detaching bumper, so he calculated 0.2 hour for total repair hours (this costs $19). Seriously? Can you replace the bumper parts within 12 min? Actually I got quote from other place and it needs 2.4 hours, this makes $200 difference at least. I argued him about this difference but he didnt listen and keep insisting his system did that. I had bad feeling already when he did inspection, he stood up by pressing my bumper several times. Aaron, please show good manner and dont do this anymore to any other customers.Maybe this low ball estimation would be the internal policy for state farm car insurance - so skip this insurance company also.
I just got my car back today and it looked like brand-new. I was first greeted by Matt and he gave a very reasonable estimate, which was really close to the final price. Raul kept me informed throughout the whole process. Both of them know how to take care of customers. Very professional and couteous. Definitely a five-star experience. I would strongly recommend FCC.

Outstanding service from Terry and crew!First, Terry buffed out one set of scratches on the spot for no fee whatsoever.Second, he and his team tackled the larger repairs for exactly the cost quoted, for less time than expected, and with excellent communication along the way (text messages alerting me to the status of the repairs).But most importantly, my car came back to me looking practically like new. I cant even possibly see where the bad scratching and denting was.Anyway, cannot recommend these folks highly enough. Professional, friendly, reasonably priced, absolutely no-hassles, and just superb work.

This place is aces when it comes to customer service. I had bumped the corner of my garage while backing out and displaced a corner of the front bumper and dented the fender right next to it. I went to Caliber for an estimate. Mike gave me an estimate, but when I asked how much for just the non-cosmetic work on my 8-year old car, he offered to remove the white paint and replace a clip on the bumper for free. What a deal! Besides saving me a bundle, Mike was very polite and helpful throughout. Im bringing all future work to Caliber.

Avoid this place - Its been three years, I regret almost every day that I choose this place. I choose it because my insurance asked me to choose. My car was pretty new when someone hit me behind while I stopped at a signal. They took pretty long time to fix it. There were multiple problems that I can see immediately, like, they didnt fix my coolent oil pipe properly, it leaked and huge smoke came off on the middle of the road and I was helpless, and they fixed a wrong steering airbag, mine had steering wheel controls and they fixed one without them - these were immediate problems that I could see. My car was never right after that. They didnt not check a basic wheel alignment properly. Please please avoid this place.

Wow! This place has amazing customer service! I initially gave this place an Ok = 3 star rating due to what I thought at the time was an inappropriate response to a question I had asked. The gentleman I talked to that day called me back and apologized and explained the misunderstanding! Who does that these days?! No one! I am very impressed by this as most companies would not have taken the extra step to make sure that the customer felt taken care of. Seriously, Ill definitely be coming back here (if I unfortunately get in another accident that is lol).As for the service, it is very fast and thorough and I left in roughly 15 minutes. The price was a little more than I expected but its probably just because I dont know anything about cars and just how much car parts costs (and the labor it takes to fix one). Caliber even gave me a specific break down of all the individual prices for the work needed to be done so you definitely feel reassured that your money is going directly into the repairs.Very professional place and again top notch service! 5 stars!
Ive been here for several repairs, both using insurance and not. I am always treated with respect and never hustled. Theyve even buffed out a surface scratch and didnt charge me.
The side of my car was dented and scratched and the side mirror taken off while it was parked on a street. Since no contact info was left, I was responsible for the entire deductible. Raul suggested an alternative way to repair the car that would cost me less than half of my deductible. I left the car with him and picked up a car that looked brand new with no signs of damage. And, it was thoroughly cleaned and polished inside and out. Not that I hope to have need of a body shop again - but if I do, Im heading for FCC Collision Center in Mountain View.

I had my car rear ended by an old woman. Luckily for me she was kind enough to admit her mistake. After much research (mainly internet) I ended up giving my car to FCC Collision center for repairs. Matt attended me and he is extremely courteous and a thorough professional. He gave near accurate estimate and I got my car in 3 days time.I must say that the finishing was soo good that I cannot identify where the repairs were! My Nissan Leaf had its front bumper cracked. I took my car to FCC at Evelyn Ave and Mike Privitt took care of everything. He helped me navigate the claim process with Metlife and fixed the car on time. The car looks as shiny as new.Mike was accessible over email and phone throughout the process. It was a smooth ride fixing the car at their location.
I had a problem with a deep scratch on my car. I was in a bit of a panic so I went to Caliber Collision and Michael Privitt looked at my car and fixed and removed the scratch within five minutes. I was very relieved and Michael was extremely helpful.I would highly recommend Caliber Collision on E. Nothing too bad, but enough damage to the front where repairs were necessary. I was a new Mountain View Caliber Collision customer and went to them on a trusted recommendation. Very glad I did, and very glad I met Jaime and his team!Price: without naming names, another auto repair shop in the area quoted me at a little more than 2x what Caliber Collision did. Now, that was based off a visual quote and perhaps could have gone down once the mechanic got behind the panels, but when do you ever know the quote to drop 50%? Caliber Collision was the best value in this case, but dont go there just for price alone. Read on...Honest Service: Jaime pointed out a couple of minor mechanical issues that he said were very easy fixes. I thought hed show me an itemized bill with labor, etc. but instead said they were so minor they just went ahead and did them. Wow!Little Something Special: The Honda Civic has had a hard life and a few years ago had a different run in with an inanimate object. We had asked for a quote on fixing this minor panel damage and was recommended not to worry about it because the damage was minor and did not impact vehicle operation. I was stunned -- STUNNED -- to come out and not find the dent when the car was brought back around. Now, they didnt offer me a new panel gratis or anything, but they were able to pull the dent out and just count it as part of the original estimate! WOW! I always thought replacing the panel would be such a waste, and they did me a HUGE FAVOR by fixing that unsightly embarrassment! The original shop I mentioned under price said I would pay 2x (again, for a total of 4x Caliber Collisions price) to repair this second issue.To sum it up -- Caliber Collision in Mountain View is DEFINITELY a place you should check out if you need service. Amazing price, excellent service and workers and they show they care about you as a person and not just your total bill. I asked for a quote for repairing an accident car.I did not ask for repair after all because I exceeded the contract scope with the insurance company, but all the staff were very kind and polite.The response when making an inquiry was quick, and the inside of the store was kept clean and I was able to leave it very safely.
