They did a really good job repairing my front bumper and both mirrors and communicating the work that needed to be done and the costs. They immediately ordered the parts for me and got the job done quickly. Id use their service again.

I have used their service twice now, and I liked it. They care about the quality of service and it shows. They have replaced both our front & back fenders and we are happy with their work. We didnt have to go back with any complaints.They were really responsive during the service. Most importantly, they kept their promise around the time estimate. I have had less than ideal experience on this front with some other body shops in the area.I recommend them to our friends.

My daughter hit a tree while trying to parallel park. We could not open the passenger door anymore. I called Maria. She gave me a quote and it was lower compared to other reputable body shops on the Old Middlefield. With their good Yelp reviews and competitive pricing, I decided to go with them. I did not regret it! The car came back washed and clean. It was an excellent job. Additionally, they are accommodating: Giving daily updates to the status of your vehicle, little extras included etc. Mountain View Body Shop is a quality shop.

My car got stolen while in the shop and then brutally vandalized, the general manager then had the audacity to suggest that it was me who broke in and stole the car in order to commit an insurance fraud. Will be seeing him in court once the insurance company is finished with the theft claim.

Robert and his crew is the best and way better than any other body shops.I had a fender bender, and my Pathfinder s front hood had gaps in both side. Robert took a look on it and described a few options with details and prices. I chose the most cost efficient one and when I picked the car up, I was really amazed on the quality of the work. As shown on the picture, its as good as before and it costed me a minimum.Also they have an Enterprise rental booth in their shop and it was so convenient.

This was a Geico insurance repair. Everything went smoothly. I arrived for the initial estimate which did not take long. Left the vehicle there for repairs. They told me it may take a couple of weeks to get it done but it got done much faster than that. I think it only took 4 days.When I went to pick up the vehicle, I noticed a small scratch on one of the tail lights. It may have been there before I brought the car in but they took care of it nevertheless while I waited.They even gave me some matching paint for the car in case I needed it for future.They also have an automatic notification process which keeps you updated on the progress.Overall it was a great experience. Efficient, courteous and timely repair.

Way Beyond my expectation. I ran into a minor car accident so I went the shop for repair. Not only did they repair the damaged part but also took care of scrapes/dints made by me. They also clean mattress and make adjustment on my car so now it is super quiet. 5/5!

I had a broken side view mirror and called Mountain View Body shop on Middlefield. The guy I spoke with on the phone was nice he ordered the parts I needed and came the next day. But when I came in so they can work on my car, they added to the mess and broke a piece of something else. They tried to say when you go to a body shop and they tear you car apart somethings are liable to break. Hmmm...So, when you come to a body shop, you should expect things to break instead of them fixing stuff? Not! Luckily, they accommodated and worked with me so they redeemed themselves! They ended up having to reorder a part and fixed it same day. For that I appreciated them! But they should take ownership to their mistake!

I went here for a repair after being mildly rear-ended, and these guys did a fantastic job. We set an appointment, the work was done in a reasonable amount of time, they communicated well, and they have a rental car agent on site which is very handy. Work was good, car looks great. In my case insurance paid for the repair, but from what I saw on the documentation the amounts seemed very reasonable. I would go here again if I needed a shop.

Excellent work! They are very helpful and kept me informed on the status. I have another hit-n-run damage prior to this accident, they even fixed that damage on the same panel and touch up the paint on the adjacent panel so that is does not looks too obvious. They definitely deserve more than 5 stars!

After checking Yelp, Google, and chatting with a few people, Ive decided to give Mountain View Body Shop a shot instead of my regular go-to shops. The whole process was amazing (far exceed my original expectations). Check-in & drop-off was a breeze. They thoroughly inspected everything that I wanted them to and answered all of my questions without rushing through like most other shops. The car looks even better than it was before the accident. Truly flawless. They updated me with every step of the process and answered all my follow-up calls for inquiries immediately. On top of that, they finished with the car (as well as clean-up/detail it for you) a couple of days before the original estimated timeline. 10/10 would recommend. Had a car repaired here. Estimated time to complete from assessments were 4 days, then 5 days - however the estimates from the shop for completion was 2 weeks. Nevertheless, my car did end up being fixed within 5 business days, so something about the tracking mustve been off. The repair itself seems as good as it could be, and Im told I have a lifetime warranty on it.Unexpected plus: They cleaned both the inside and outside of the car completely, even though the repair was purely exterior.Unexpected minus (really minor): Even though the repair was just for the outside, they still took away some paper towels and water bottles I had left inside the car

I rarely write Google reviews, but the service at this shop was remarkably efficient and very high quality! I got rear-ended and just needed a bumper replaced, which they did perfectly and quickly. More importantly to me, I thought it was very streamlined and quick when I went in a picked up. They are totally coordinated with Geico service agent as well as a rental car company, so getting all the paperwork and picking up a new car was really quick. They keep you updated with text messages as well, and my car was ready a day early. Pickup, of course, was also super easy and my car was returned spotless. Great service!

They did great work, but they sent me a bunch of texts saying my car was almost done when in fact they were waiting 10 days to hear from my insurance about approving a supplemental estimate, and hadnt even started working on it! Seems a bit silly that they wouldnt call or email to tell me what was actually going on - all it took was 1 call to insurance to sort it out.

This is probably not a good idea to brag that I’ve used Mountain View Body Shop three times in as many years but, yeh, it’s true. The first two were recommendations from my insurance carrier GEICO. First was knocking my front end out when I hit black ice in the Sierra one winter ago. Second was when I backed into a wall busting my rear bumper and buckling the right rear quarter panel on my Tacoma 4x4. Third time was the charm when I backed into a tree and dented my tailgate. Are we seeing a pattern here?Anyway, each time I’ve dropped my vehicle off they’ve made a quick (and fair) estimate, taken the truck, arranged for my rental car and given me a date as to when I could expect completion of the work. All was done within that period with them providing me with almost daily updates (via text).To date, their work has been stellar. I have no objections to the work. The painting has been perfect, the vehicles cleaned and everything as far as I can tell was re-assemble to factory specifications.Seriously, I highly, highly recommend Mountain View Body shop if you need seriously detailed, in-depth body work performed on your vehicles. These folks have yet to let me down. Definitely professional.

My car was hit in back and as Geico instructed me I brought the car to this body shop for evaluation.They dis-assembled the car for inspection and then the car is reported as a total loss.I wanted my car to be repaired so I asked them to return the car so to bring it to a body shop for repair.They did not assemble the parts and returned the car As Is. However, my body shop found two missing parts.I contacted them to find and return the parts. They returned me one missing part, but said they dont have the other part.This was a bad experience for me and I advise in any similar situation be careful.

I had my car body fixed here the 2nd time. Mot of their protocol in managing the repair is simpler than other places.They do the job satisfactorily and have done little more than required by the book. I was happy both the times.

Rushed work 1st time dents and drips on door edge clearly visible. Second time dust all over interior masking tape was left on top of van and inside gas door. Scratched up side window from scraping over spray. Oversray still left on on 3rd side window and rear moulding and rim. Less than 1 year later windows screech contacted my insurance but they said i would have to take in for inspection to shop no thank you fixed it on my own. O and when you pick up the vehicle MAKE SURE REPAIRED SIDE FACING SUN !!! so you wont miss the imperfections. Such as the glass I would have notuced in sun not visible in shade.

Ive used Mountain View Body Shops services twice now - both times after someone or something dinged my car. GEICO lists them as a one-stop shop where you drop off the car, pick up a rental and come back when its ready.The first time when I picked up my car, I discovered a new dent on my door (the one they fixed). I pointed it out to them and they reviewed the before photos and verified that the dent wasnt there. It looked like the door was put on a nail or something from the inside. It was a bit of a hassle, but they fixed it and the second time when I came to pick it up, it looked as good as new. I appreciate them owning their mistake and fixing it, but would have preferred they caught it themselves. I dont want to think about what I would have had to go through had I not caught that.Last week I left the car with them again to fix a new dent and when I picked it up, it looked perfect.Obviously I already am a repeat customer. I would recommend them. I would also recommend doing a walkaround when you pick up your car. Thats probably good general advice.

I took my damaged Camaro ZL1 to Mtn. View Body Shop for repairs and I was in/out in under 30 minutes...this included the intake procedure, review of the damage, and issuance of the rental car. They told me it would take 10 days, and they completed the work on time as promised. Upon my return it took 15 minutes to return the rental, review the repairs, pay for the work, and drive away. Ive always loathed dealing with body shops, but am so impressed by how efficient and courteous the team is at this establishment. If I ever need work done on any of my vehicles this will be the first place I call!

I had a back fender repair by the Mountain View Body Shop. I was concerned because of the grey paint that had a sparkle in it and a clear coat. The repair was excellent, perfect matching paint, returned on time, and the price was reasonable. The car was returned cleaner than when it was taken in.

Sloppy work. They removed the door guards to repaint the door and it looks like a kindergartner glued them back on, and within a week they began to fall off. I left with the understanding they would order new guards and call me early the next week. Never got a phone call. They also repainted two decorative lines on the side of my car, the lines are off width and just look sloppy.

Geico sent me here for some minor repairs on rear bumper. Repairs were finished next day and my rear bumper looked brand new. Very smooth process for dropping off and picking up, and everyone was super nice and helpful along the way. To top it all off, my car was washed and ended up looking nicer than it has ever looked.

I was referred to Mountain View Body Shop by Geico and Im glad because it was the fastest and most convenient experience Ive had with a bodyshop by far.I scheduled my appointment to drop off the vehicle and was complete within 30 minutes (including inspections). They set me up with a rental and my car was completed over the weekend, ready for pick up Monday.Upon inspecting the car, they did some excellent work/repairs and even completed the job with a detail.I would definitely recommend Mountain View Body Shop and if I need some work completed, Ill be sure to come back to them!

My experience with this body shop was excellent, Im impressed by how smooth the process went and how professional the staff was. I was hit by a metal pipe on the highway which damaged my Minis grill, spoiler, cooling system, and radiator; thank goodness Geico was able to cover the majority of the cost and recommended this particular body shop. Within the next day I was given a cost estimate and an estimated finish date (5 days after the car was brought in). To my surprise, it only took three days for them to fix and replace the damages and I was I was able to get my vehicle back by the end of the week. The staff walked me through the entire process and made sure that everything went as smooth and hassle-free as possible. A diligent and excellent service from them, I would definitely recommend this body shop for anyone who reads this review.EDIT: They also cleaned my car for me which was amazing cause it was really grungy when I brought it in.

High customer service, good communication, friendly, and amazing prices. Thats what you get with Mountain View Body Shop. I came for a bumper repair, and they were honest with their quote. The damage was minor, many other shops tried to use it as an excuse to buy and paint a completely new bumper.Mountain View Body Shop simply repaired it to look like new! 1 year later it has held up greatly.The only minor complaint is that they sprayed a slick Armor All type spray all over the interior. As someone who is an amateur auto detailer hobbiest, this is a big no-no, especially if you have an Alcantara interior! My recommendation to the owners: ask prior if the customer wants to have this done before doing so.

First experience (good): It was a smooth experience from start to finish. My damage was covered under a Geico claim. I went in one day to drop the minivan. They kept me updated on how long it will take. When done, I went and picked it up on paying the deductible. They took care of everything with the insurance. And the minivan looks good and has been driving well.So quite smooth and streamlined.Next experience (bad): The service seems to have gone down sharply. I had another incident, covered under a Geico claim too, to be fixed here. They looked at the damage, submitted paperwork to Geico, received the estimate, but then dropped the ball completely. They said that they will setup an appointment after the parts come in. Its been weeks and I cant get them to respond to me to schedule an appointment. For this issue, I have contact them over 10 times (emails, phone calls, in-person visit). No response or non-response (person who answers the phone says that someone will call me back). Its been over a month since I first contacted this shop. After wasting so much time, I will need to find another shop to handle this. Not that it matters, but I had asked them to replace a light in addition to the insurance work.Giving an extra star since the earlier experience was good.

I had a pretty bad damage on my car, and Geico recommended this body shop. They were very busy, but still fixed my car timely. In addition, they fixed an older smaller damage with a very reasonable cost. They tried to update their progress everyday although they missed that sometimes. They moved things forward very fast.

They (seem to) have done a good job with fixing the car, but I was not a fan of their ongoing customer support. (1) They told me that theyd disassemble the car to assess damage and let me know the estimate, but never called. I had to call them 2 days later and they were surprised that I wanted an estimate before approving the work. (2) It took them 2 weeks to fix my car. Luckily I was traveling for most of it, but if I hadnt been, I would have been very unhappy about having to rent a car for the duration.They seem to do a good job, but I felt there was very little transparency (which is very different to other shops), and seemed to just take things for granted, possibly because of the guaranteed business through Geico. Not sure that Id go back.

Service is fantastic and they are really good at their work. My experience was very good.

5 out of 5, flawless experienceRecently, I went in to repair scratches on my BMW X5.Since I insure with GEICO and they have GEICO agent on-site, so I was able to get estimate and drop-off done in one easy 30-min session.Was given verbal estimate on-the-spot, and they follow up with more accurate final cost and completion date.Every day during repair, I was given text message regarding the repair progress.It ended up only took them 3 working days including the drop-off day. The estimate was 4, but I was totally expecting 6 (counting the weekend).The paint job was absolutely flawless. Now my X5 is back to its Like New status. They also repaired inner structures as well as sensor that got damaged with OEM BMW parts.Im fond of the entire repair experience. And will definitely come back for any of future repairs.

The business hours given on their website should be corrected. Open for business means adequate staff should be ready to work, not just the front door is open.

I had a small incident with my cars tail gate which unfortunately resulted in having to replace the whole tailgate (parts, labor and painting). I found Mountain View Body Shop through GEICO, as they are part of the Auto Repair Xpress program. Out of all the participating body shops in the area, Mountain View Body Shop had the highest Yelp rating. I did shop around and found that the prices were rather similar, but the service was significantly different. I decided to go with this establishment.The whole process was great: I brought the car in a bit earlier than the scheduled time and there were people immediately available to help me. The manager came out to look at the vehicle and do the walkthrough and the GEICO representative also took me through what this meant from an insurance perspective. It was great to have both people there live walking through and explaining everything. They kindly offered to give me a ride back to my office which was an unexpected pleasant surprise.The work was done within the estimated budget and the vehicle was delivered exactly on time. Throughout the entire process I received relevant e-mail updates and I only called in on the final day to arrange the pick up.The only constructive feedback I have is that the car could have been cleaner upon delivery (some ink marks where scratches / dents had been initially identified and the inside had dusty footprints) but in the overall scheme of things this is a very very minor point.In summary, I had a great, streamlined, hassle free experience at Mountain View Body Shop and will surely come back in the future.

Reputation and service are stellar. Repaired the rear bumper on my Mercedes C300. Returned again to have the rear bumper repaired on my new Ford Explorer. They are my “go-to-guys” for auto body service.

My Tesla Model S rear bumper was dented by a car parked behind me. I worked with Robert. I got an estimate from Mountain View Body Shop and after the other drivers insurance company agreed to pay the claim MV Body Shop repaired the bumper. The repair was quick, taking only 2 days and looked as good a new. In addition to the repair they removed my 3 clean air vehicle stickers intact that I so that I could return them to the DMV for replacement stickers. When I received the car, I was pleasantly surprised that MV Body Shop had washed the cars exterior and interior. There is an Enterprise car rental desk at the body shop and I was able to pick up and return my rental car at the body shop. If you have GEICO insurance (I do not) there is a GEICO desk at the body shop as well. Robert was great to work with. Customer service is great.

Work was good, but it took forever. Almost 3 months before we got our car back.

I recently got into an accident, and I had my car repaired at MVAB (Mountain View Auto Body) because they have an agreement with my insurer, Geico (which is owned by Warren Buffett and therefore demands good prices). One of the features of this agreement is that the shop stands by their repairs for the lifetime of the vehicle (which for my Toyota, could potentially be a pretty long time!).The repairs were done quickly, and the quality was excellent; if I had a shop whose repairs were of that quality, I’d feel confident making a vehicle-lifetime guarantee. Also, the front-desk staff was competent, immediately available upon my entrance to the shop, and answered the phone quickly when I called; in today’s era of massive business-world budget cuts and the resultant understaffing, these features of a business cannot, unfortunately, be taken for granted by a consumer.In short: if you want a repair job that’s well-priced, quick, and frictionless, you can’t go wrong with MVAB. Until and unless they let me down, because I’m quite happy with what I got from them, I don’t need to search for an alternative, and once you’ve read this review, take my word for it that you don’t either.

Wonderful service and they are very helpful

If you dont need your vehicle for days on end and you dont mind returning to have previous work redone correctly, then this place is for you. Also, plan on waiting on hold and not having your calls returned if you use these guys.

Awesome setup, with a Geico agent, the body shop, and the Enterprise rental. It took me only 10 min to drop the car and leave with a rental.
